This is THE only go to place for tasty ramen noodles on the North Shore. You can’t go wrong eating yummy organic ramen at reasonable prices. I always have the spicy tan tan ramen. It’s served either cold or ho in their signature creamy organic butternut squash broth & rayu chilli oil. It definitely warms the soul on a cold winter day. We also had the shoyu ramen in mushroom broth with truffle-shallot oil. It was a treat to try their handcrafted vegan steam bun. Delish. They are an ideal eatery for vegetarians and vegans. They also offer frozen vegan ramen noodles at various food places such as IGA, Meridian Farm Market & Stongs. Check their website for various locations. Unfortunately, they are only open for lunch on weekdays from 11 am to 6 pm Mon to Friday. If you enjoy eating healthy and organic food, you can’t go wrong here. They’re located off Marine Drive and Pemberton in North Vancouver.

Ordered a very tasty vegetarian ramen in rich mushroom broth, yummy! Chose Oat Milk to go with my Matcha Latte. Deco is minimum but stylish. Extremely friendly servers. Hubby dropped his wallet in the restaurant & the lady server rushed out of the restaurant to return it to him. Our hearty thanks to her again!

Absolutely horrible. Food tasted horrible and did not even give cutlery with delivery order. But : First of all I have a dietary restriction which means i can hardly eat ramen noodles- every ramen and pho place happily accommodated me. Just like you would in a restaurant they just give more north and no noodles or less noodles. They just said no not possible. When the order arrived it was clear they could have easily just put the broth in a container with the ingredients. Anyways it was so bad. The butternut squash broth is horrible. The toppings are not good. They didn’t even give cutlery with the ramen. The terikaki burger is horrible. Just taste overly like sugar / sweet. No veggies except some lettuce. Pic shows a side salad etc they don’t do that. Overall- horrible service and horrible food. Definitely need to actually try with delivery orders- they do not value their customers. Get your vegan ramen at somewhere like jinya ramen instead. Taste way way way better and better service. Also this place jacked up their prices like crazy.

I haven’t had spicy tan tan ramen for a long time and I had it yesterday and it just wasn’t the same. The soup tasted almost watered down - not as rich as before. I used to empty the whole bowl but yesterday I left most of the soup. My daughter had hot chocolate and it was worse than what I make home - too mild. When you are used to Thomas Haas rich hot chocolate, it was too watery. I don’t know what happened to this restaurant. The food used be so good but it wasn’t my experience yesterday. I didn’t mind paying $20 for Ramen when it was so good but yesterday, it was really disappointing.

Unbelievably tasty food!!! OMG! This is the BEST vegetarian eatery I've visited besides Acorn! The handmade udon and ramen noodles are to die for!!! Three little embellishments on each plate make the food as attractive visually as it is gastronomically! My food had crunchy, fine hair like red vegetable decoration that looked like saffron, but was red! The Japanese influence on the food is what makes it take delightful. The prices range from $12 to $16 making it accessable to the majority! I am thrilled to find a huge selection of gluten free, vegan baked goodies on offer too! 🥰

This place is amazing and an absolute MUST!!! I've been raving about this place by word of mouth, to the point that a Google review is warranted. The interior is cozy, the staff super friendly (shout out to one of their servers, Colin! I even remember his name - he was so kind and accommodating), and of course, the food is absolutely superb. My friend and I left feeling full, happy (and healthier too - that's how fresh their ingredients are). Thank you to the staff for clearly loving what they do, and providing excellent service and serving insanely good food

This cafe is so awesome for you vegans and vegetarians who don’t want to compromise the taste of food and what also feels like quite wholesome ingredients being used. We ordered the tan yam noodles, shoyu and a few cookies. The noodles were house made from whole wheat, and pretty decent. I’d say the highlight to their ramen was the broth. The shoyu broth had a very strong mushroom flavour with a touch of truffle, while the tantan was a lighter brother and spicier. The portion size was also a good amount to make you full. My only complaint is I felt they could’ve loaded it with more toppings, because each dish in itself Id already $15 and if you want to add protein (tofu or egg), it’s an additional $3, which Id pretty steep. As for the cookies, they were mainly vegan and a very subtle sweet. It’s not a cheat day cookie, but more if you just want something slightly sweet to take the craving away. Lastly, they have a shop that sells a handful of their products in frozen form to take home and make, which I thought was best. Picked up some soy protein and hot and sour soup for myself to try. Overall, if you’re looking for a good asian-ish vegan place that uses wholesome ingredients, you gotta check this place out. It’s great!

I got the spicy tan tan. It was a mildly spicy creamy light soup. Noodles are made perfectly chewy and delicious. Portion sizes are on the smaller size. They ask if u wanna add additional toppings. For the price, I feel like they should give you a protein like egg or tofu but that's extra. I do feel the price is a bit steep but that's probably my only con. This place has a very relaxed atmosphere. The staff aren't overly friendly but they're not rude or anything either. Overall, I would recommend for anyone who wants to try vegan food. It's healthy and flavorful but it's a bit pricey.

Great little place for vegan food, but should be less expensive (especially considering it's pretty much self serve, you even have to carry your dishes after you're done)

As a major Vancouver foodie, I don't think I have ever reviewed a place whose food actually made me feel so... replenished after eating. But along came this place. Truly, The Workshop Vegetarian Café was a quirky, adventurous, and overall fun dining experience. Not only was the food delicious, it was nutritious down to the last bite, and the service from their friendly, easygoing staff was nothing short of spectacular. My wife and I came on a really hot day, and the rice noodles with organic cashew sauce, served either hot, kind of like a ramen, or cold, which was what I ordered (see photo below), was exactly what I needed to alleviate the heat I felt from that scorching, summer day. That, paired with the organic apple juice I drank from a mason jar (yes, a mason jar) left me feeling completely refreshed. My wife had their avocado toast with a soy latte, and while I thought the bread was a little on the hard side, she absolutely enjoyed it. They also had a little gift shop filled with merchandise like mason jars, The Workshop t-shirts, reusable straws, and straw holders! This place is a little far from us considering it's in North Van, but I would definitely make the trip just to dine at this place again. Once you've eaten here, you would too. Come try this place. It's worth it.

A very good vegan place. I always enjoy their soup noodle dishes. They have a great frozen food section. I wish their place was bigger and that they had another restaurant. I wish they made salads and expanded their menu. I also wish they would open on weekends. I know they are concentrating on selling their food in grocery chains but I wish they would do a bit more on the restaurant front.

Stopped in for an extremely early dinner before the ferry and was not disappointed! During summer heatwave they offer 2 of their noodle dishes cold. We had both the tan tan ramen & rice noodles. Lots of great natural pantry items in their store section.

I picked up a kimchi grilled cheese and carrot ginger soup lunch and both were delicious. The fridge section of salads and sandwiches looks good, I will have to try some more. They have a selection of ramen and other lunch dishes (all vegetarian) and hot drinks. My only negative was all the windows and doors were open and it was 5 degrees. The chairs were a little cold on the bum.

The Avo toast is amazing and the layout of the cafe is so gorgeous with all the plants filling the space. They even have a to-go spot where you can grab their delicious bowls and baked goods for home. Highly recommend this cafe!

I didn’t think I would like a vegan ramen but the broth is pretty full bodied. Also when you throw on the eggs it feels very satisfying. Get their extra spicy you can handle it!

I think this is the best place to have ramen. The soup is heavenly and especially when you press the veggies into the soup, and the soup just wilts the veggies a little bit, it's even better! Their pastries are very good too. I got the cinnamon roll, even with icing on top it wasn't that sweet at all. Definitely will go back

This Spicy Tan Tan ramen at this café is definitely one of the best vegetarian ramen I've ever had and possibly the best one in Vancouver as well! The service was quick and the staff was friendly and super humble (when I complemented them on their ramen being probably the best in town, they started chatting about other good ramen places I should try)! The rest of the menu seemed pretty interesting too! Will definitely be back 😋

My go-to lunch destination in the area. Recommend the Spicy Tan Tan Ramen Bowl. Pretty much the only Ramen dish I ever eat now. Many tasty dishes to satisfy your inner vegetarian. Always friendly service.

This is one of my go to places on the north shore for great tasting healthy food. The food is organic and prepared in house. Even the ramen "noods" are made on premise. Yes, it costs a bit more but delicious food, high quality, and great service should. Worth every penny. We spent about $40. lunch for 2.

Very tasty ramen noodle salad bowl. Quick service (Friday 2 pm). They offer many vegan items, clearly marked V. Also, vegan soft-serve ice cream, muffins, cupcakes, cinnamon rolls and more. Chilled and frozen grocery items, including gyoza. Pleasant staff.

I had a great first experience! The cafe looks amazing and there’s so many local/small business products to support. The team is beyond friendly and kind! Way to go! Coming back whenever I’m in North Van! I also got to sample the new ramen noodles and it was so tasty!!

Friendly staff and fast service. Not much crowd on Tuesday lunch hour. Food w as s healthy. I was expecting more spicy and flavorful ramen (we had three types of Ramen). Salad was not very filling.

Incredible flavour and variety of dishes for the ramen and noodle dishes. Really nice baked goods and mini section for take home products (the prepared cinnamon buns are great).
