Our first time ever eating a hot-pot . We were doubting about what to order, so we decided to ask for the mixed broth , original and spicy. Then we asked for lamb, mushrooms and noodles. Quite a experience. There is a sauce bar to enhance the taste , with the classics soy, peanut and chilli oil sauce. We put everything in the hot pot and wait until everything was cooked. Honestly the experience was good but the taste was so strong to herbs and spices, we should ask for more items. Maybe next time, better in large groups and asking for the “all you can eat menu”

Very yummy all you can eat hot pot. Services are pretty good. We arrived at around 550pm. It got really busy and people were waiting for seats later on, so make reservation if you need to.

Decently priced all you can eat. There were lots of options for meats and veggies we could add. We ordered a bunch of different stuff to see what we liked and didn’t like. I would love to go again! Just be sure to book a reservation as it can be a long wait for a table here. It’s a busier location.

I have come here many times. Overall very cheap price, fresh seafood, beef, pork and lamb very tasty. They have Chinese jelly which is really great for dessert. The space is spacious and comfortable for extended families to come here. However, sometimes I wait a long time even though I already have a reservation before coming

Why. So. Many. Chillies. Why? We had a very hard time eating the soup as there were tons of floating chillies and other spices. Not that spicy of a soup either despite it being doused in chillies. My bf and I love hot pot but we are not coming back here. All seafood items on the all you can eat menu tasted old and were chewy. Servers did not explain the menu and did not mention the sauce bar. I enjoyed the fresh veggies and meat options but the price left me unimpressed: $85 for two people (no extra sides) and one drink.

Came for all-you-eat with my husband. It was only my 2nd time here, and as the first time, it was awesome! The broth is delicious! We just got the classic broth, which was amazing before we even started adding our meats and veggies to it. At the beginning, of both our visits here, the service was mediocre at best at the beginning, but we were lucky to end up with a GREAT SERVER! I don't remember her name, but she took really great care of the two of us. She was super attentive, and so friendly. And my husband and I are new to hot pot, and she was so patient with us and took time to explain all the options and how everything works. The food was great, and worth going back for, but she made our night memorable, and makes me want to go back just to have her serve us again. 100% recommend this place!

We went to Happy Lamb in Burnaby, early in the day before it was even open so that we could be sure to get a table for ourselves. This place does AYCE hot pot. We were stuffed beyond belief! Many of the newer hot pot restaurants offer individual hot pots but this one is a more traditional style where there is one shared pot for everyone to do their cooking in. Thankfully, this pot had a divider so I was able to have a Vegetarian broth on one side while my husband could have his meat broth on the other side. Our daughter would just switch every now and then between eating from one side or the other. Service was extremely slow this day. There's a time limit on the table but we weren't even served any food for the longest time which was a bit annoying. It's one thing to be slow with bringing out food when the kitchen is cooking food for customers. This was hot pot though. We were the ones who would be doing the cooking; they were taking ages just to bring out any food for us to cook. Hoping this was just an isolated incident. Other than the slow service, we very much enjoyed our meal here. Service: Could have been better Parking: Paid parking beneath the restaurant Location: 4755 Kingsway, Burnaby, BC

I’m a basic white guy so when I heard about hot pot I had no idea what was in store. I now have an addiction, I can’t stop and won’t stop eating hot pot every week. I’ve been to many locations but this place is 100% the best and “VICTOR the manager” is my favourite person in Canada. He’s always at work with a smile on face and makes time to check up on my dinner table. His staff are cool. Always a laugh and a joke with VICTOR! He’s attentive and the reason I now only come to this hotpot every time without fail. I will continue bringing all my friends to Victors hot pot spot Thank you team at happy lamb. See you tomorrow 😎😍

It’s been a while since i had AYCE hot pot! For all-you-can-eat, it is $30/person for lunch or dinner. The menu selection is quite extension so that if you order a bit of everything (variety), you will be plenty full after 1 round of orders so you have to be more selective the first round if there’s stuff you really want to eat. For myself, I enjoy going thru the variety round first. One suggestion I would have for the restaurant is that they should adjust the Lunch AYCE price so it’s like slightly lower than the dinner price. I remember AYCE japanese buffets were always like that (lunch price is lower). For this place, they could probably do $28 for lunch and $31 for dinner. It was just a little odd for me to see the same price for lunch and dinner when I know I usually eat more at dinner. Overall I enjoyed the food, the service, and even the bonus view of metrotown from the table we sat at.

Hot pot is always great fun. Happy Lamb is a great spot for this. They have a good selection of items to fit what mood you're in. We had the all you can eat option and had the house special broth. The house broth had a little bit of everything and was a pretty good match with the items we got. The meats, lamb and beef, were amazin along with the mushrooms and dumping. We also got a lot of quail eggs (careful eating quail eggs, can burn your tongue). Overall, great time here. Awesome food to enjoy with a group of people.

Get the all you can eat menu! I remember as soon as I walked through the door, you can smell the delicious hot pot stirring at each table. I knew it was going to be good! Their lamb items are so good, especially the mutton dumplings!

Our family loves enjoying new cuisine and new restaurants that we aren't familiar with to explore our palate and have wanted to try hot pot for quite some time. We decided on Happy Lamb for our first experience. Parking was very good for the heart of Burnaby with underground parking, we did wait around 10 minutes before being seated, however once we were attended to, our server was very kind and very pleasant! She knew it was our first time trying hot pot so she made it very comfortable for us and was happy to have us Once seated she told us how to order and what options were the best for coming in the first time which was awesome, per person and only spent 68-ish dollars including tip which was amazing, food was well presented/prepared & the broth was so good, just the right amount of richness and flavor. Once we ordered she noticed that we had not gone to the sauce bar to create our sauces and made sure we were aware. She made us quite comfortable and was accommodating throughout our first meal experience along with the other staff, there was a young child who was very cranky during lunch beside us for the first half of lunch (no fault to the staff) but there was quite a lot of screeching. Otherwise the rest of the atmosphere was lovely. If the manager or owner reads this, the lady who guided us through service tell her she did a great job and remind her that we were traveling back to Kelowna the same day and my daughter and I were both wearing matching hoodies! She will remember who we are and give her our thanks, because of her kindness we will be back... OH and the food was so delicious!!! ❤️✨

I enjoy the all-you-can-eat aspect of hotpot. I came here with family on a weekday and there were a decent amout of people. At the restaurant, in addition to ordering various meat, you can have a large variety of sauce at the sauce bar. Coming just under 30-35 dollars per person for unlimited ordering hot-pot, I would recommend this place for team gatherings and hangouts with family, friends and co-worker. The food is ok. The meat was somewhat full of fat. The service is good. The atmosphere is full of live energy with many people talking and waiters/waitresses moving back forth. The restaurant has free parking located at parkade underground. My family arrived at around 8pm for hotpot. By the time we left, the waiter and waitresses were already asking for last orders for patrons. They are large seating spaces available.

We came here on a weekday for lunch. We ordered the mini hotpot. Food: 3.5/5 – we opted for the mini hot pot for one. It was sufficient for one. We both had the seafood which had cod fillet, prawn, shrimp ball, fish tofu, yam, napa cabbage, a couple leaves of leaf lettuce and egg noodles. The mini hot pots are available for vegetarians and meat eaters. In addition to the mini hot pots, the house broth and prune juice are included in the price. The broth was tasty & they topped up the broth. There are also appetizers, skewers, soy bean milk, & buns/pies to order separately. The foods’ freshness was average. Service: 2/5 – we waited an hour for our food to come & when we inquired, no explanation was given. The place wasn’t hopping busy. We were ready to walk out. At the end, they tried to make up for the delay by offering a complimentary jelly dessert. Atmosphere: 3/5 – clean and nice décor. There is a separate area for a large party. Location: located on the top floor off Kingsway & McMurray Parking: metered parking out front or on the residential streets Note: if you have particular dietary requirements, & don’t want to mix meat with your food, this isn’t the place for you as there’s one pot per table. I doubt we’ll be back as there are other hot pot places to try on Kingsway.

An amazing AYCE hot pot experience for just $31.99!! The complimentary sauce bar was awesome and included hot items too like ayce fries, spring rolls, chow mein, and brisket and daikon stew. There was also canned peaches and mango ice jelly that was soooooo tasty. Highly recommend the mango ice jelly that serves as both a complimentary dessert and drink. They have all the sauces and condiments you could ask for in hot pot too like satay sauce, green onions, cilantro, fresh jalapeños, garlic, etc.. They even give you a free ice cream bar at the end of your meal. We tried the dual pot spicy and non spicy soup and both were very flavourful and fragrant with herbs. Highly recommend the ayce Australian lamb slices which were tender with cooking. All their greens were very fresh and clean and the vast amount of included fish balls, seafood, meat, noodles, and tofu items were expansive. You truly eat to your heart’s content here :) P.S. make reservations ahead of time or you may have to wait a while on weekends as the place is bumping with people

A typical hot pot establishment that doesn't really stand out from other similar establishments. It's All-You-Can-Eat so it is highly recommended to arrive with a empty stomach. There's a multitude of fresh meat, seafood and vegetables that can be added to the broth. Plus, their menu has a variety of side dishes and drinks. Service is quick and efficient. And the establishment felt pretty clean. I would highly recommend making a reservation, since this restaurant is quite busy in the evenings and during weekends Depending on how you cook or add ingredients, the overall taste and experience can differ. Our recent experience was OK but not outstanding. Everything started to taste the same after a while as the broth became bland due to ingredients constantly added into the pot. Overall, Happy Lamb Hot Pot is a decent experience but far from memorable. There's plenty of similar establishments within the Metro Vancouver Region.

The quality of meat and veggies certainly exceeded my expectation, especially for the AYCE price you pay. It's a solid alternative compared the more expensive chains like Dolar and HDL. However, if you are more budget conscious and can eat a ton, Happy Lamb is overall a superior alternative. They have plenty of selections and I mostly stick with lamb/beef, balls, and veggies. Seafood such as mussels wasn't very good but it's understandable given the price you pay. The original soup base was very flavourful, but I suspect there is MSG in it unlike the Dolar one. Would certainly come visit again when I'm very hungry.

Very nice hot pot place. They have all-you-can-eat option. I used to like AYCE but then realized I'm just wasting food by eating so much, especially meats. Still nice to go and eat some veggies.

My hubby wanted to have All-you-can-eat hotpot, so we went to Happy Lamb. Their all-you-can-eat hotpot is about $33 per person, if ordering deluxe will be about $38. They have few extra stuff in deluxe that we don’t think is that worth to add the extra$. They have 25% off for all-you-can-eat hotpot during lunch time. It’s worth eating at that price. The broth is flavourful. The food choice is acceptable. The drinks have to pay additional, plum juice and soft drinks can refill. The meat is average as well. The good thing is the sauce are free. The environment is clean and spacious.

We did the happy hour offered from 8:30pm to 10:30pm for 20% off AYCE. Everything was great quality and such a reasonable price. Staff were also very friendly and attentive. Ice cream at the end too! 10/10 would definitely come back again!

Awesome hotpot choice! Five stars for yummy foods and great service. Ling was exceptional in providing us a happy dining experience. Easy to park and open all day from 11:30 till evening. Diverse menu with ready to eat items such as grilled lamb skewers or beef pie. I especially enjoyed their 油條, prepared only after you order so always freshly made.

(Ignore the low quality screenshots from the video I took). Came 2 hours prior to closing, I would recommend coming in at least 3+ hours prior to closing if you’re ordering AYCE. However, the service was great! They’re friendly and sweet.

The all you can eat menu is so worth it. You get a choice of Regular or Deluxe all you can eat, which unlocks some more options. The soup base does cost extra.. My favorite is tomato soup (highly recommend ) if you don't like something spicy like me :) You get 2 rounds of orders, but the servers can still get you more food if you ask. Oysters are sadly limited. The veggies and meat were fresh and delicious. I don't recommend the grilled menu as I found it to be dry and too salty. The servers were attentive and very nice. They often checked up on our soup levels. Overall it was a very enjoyable experience! Their free for all sauce bar is very fun. Forgot to take more pictures there.
