We found this spot out of the blue, but we absolutely loved it, the staff is very friendly, the food is quite delicious and the whole place is very nice, this was our first time but it won’t be the last, we will definitely be back, plus… best fish and chips I’ve tried in a very long time! BEST!

My girlfriend and I went out for a birthday lunch. We were looking for a restaurant that had a large menu with variety. Moe's was the place. Well located with lots of parking and a good reputation for hearty food. Nothing fancy was ordered. We shared a Moe's pizza, all dressed with smoked meat and we had 2 side salads. The salad is a salad. It's difficult to reinvent the salad but the pizza...exceptional. Loaded with ingredients and lots of cheese. Well worth the extra money. The premises is a bit dingy but if you are larger group, you could have lots of fun. Reservations are a good idea because even at lunchtime it was busy. A definite must try...at least for the pizza.

We went for lunch. Don’t judge the place by its outside look. It’s a proper pub look inside. We had the sparkling strawberry sangria, sliders, fried calamari and a poutine. Service was quick and friendly. Sliders were a tad dry but still tasty. Nicely cooked calamari and a delicious poutine. Would come again.

Waitress was super friendly and helpful, restaurant was great. The hamburger was a bit over priced and each ingredient is costly. The poutine was great however, and so were the kids chicken wings

I'm came here to have the Montreal smoked meat. Being from NYC I'm used to pastrami. I also like poutine which I only get in Canada. I'm a big eater so I thought the jumbo sandwich was not really that big compared to the sandwiches at the Carnegie Deli in NYC or Slyman's in Clevelaind. The cheesecake was delicious. Service was friendly and efficient

Best smoked meat i have ever had ! The meat was very tasty, moist and very tender. As you bite into the sandwich it melts inside your mouth. The service was excellent. The place is clean. The bathrooms are clean. Wheelchair accessible. A place for the whole family. A must try restaurant ! Free parking

First time here for my brother's birthday. Food is good but apparently they charge you when you bring your own cake ? Also the manager is pretty rude and awkward with a bad attitude. Apparently a slice of cake is 3 bucks even though you bring it? I was not aware since my brother set it up ... but in the end I'm happy it's free. Thanks !

Good food! Service was good, The server forgot to mention that the gluten free bun was 3$extra so got a surprise when I got the bill! Ambiance was okay

We usually like the food and service here. Last time we went, my husband found a small piece of hard plastic in his mac 'n cheese. The waiter was quick to rectify the issue with another menu item and he was offered dessert on the house.

Food was pure garbage. Everything was soggy swimming in fat. Calamari smelled fishy and you could clearly tell it was frozen, pizza crust was mush soaking in fat, couldn't grab a piece without it slopping apart if your life depended on it! All deep fried frozen food. If you're drunk you won't notice it I guess. Thats why the bar! Smoke meat sandwich was the worst I've ever had. Wish I had my dogs around to feed them. That's what I thought the food was good for, even at that my dogs eat better than what they served. Now I understand why the restaurant was dead at peak hours. Service was the only good thing! Waste of time and money! Never going again!

As usual, the smoked meat sandwiches were delicious. We always patronize Moe's when in Montreal. It has been a long 3 1/2 years woth Covid....

Ordered Cobb salad. Received a half avocado, whole hardboiled egg, huge chunks of tomato, uncut lettuce. That's not a salad if I have to assemble it myself. The grilled chicken was good however.

Went on a Saturday night for dinner with a group of 7 people. Service was slow. Their "Philly Steak Sub" was 75% bread, and they pile on the fries to make it look like you're getting a generously portioned platter. (I know people in Philly who would take serious issue with them putting their name on it!) Prices are high for pub food. They had a horrible band playing in the parking lot for a birthday party (not sure who's to blame for them, though) but they still blasted music inside, which made it impossible to have any conversation at all without screaming. A completely aggravating experience. But there was lots of parking! If you just want to get drunk and yell at your friends, this is a good enough place to do it I guess, but I won't be going back.

Great place to eat. I enjoyed my Chicago pizza and my don loved his pouting. Very friendly staff and the orders were taken and the meal was quickly delivered. Very nice atmosphere and a they have a great area for larger groups. Everyone was pleased with their meals.

Absolutely loved this place. The food was so good. I got pasta+chicken with vodka sauce and it was delicious. My entire family had a great experience here. Everyone said the food was amazing

Can we talk about their smoked meat for a second? It's amazing!! Love the family special for takeout when hosting guests or for a potluck. The people that work there are always so friendly and helpful. Great local spot!

We came for the smoked meat, it is so so. That is why no much clients on Thursday night. Service is required updated. No water added. Next door,Bar is full.

We stopped in a little after 1PM for lunch and the place wasn't very busy. Plenty of parking spaces available. We were quickly seated and the server brought our drinks promptly. We placed our orders and the server was helpful in helping my companion decide what to order. the food came out quickly and piping hot. My companion had the chicken strips and salad and they looked to be hand-breaded- very crunchy and loaded with nooks and valleys to hold the dipping sauce. I had the Clubhouse and was happy to see that they used grilled chicken to order, not sandwich meat as some places do. The only thing that took this down to 4 stars instead of 5 was that the server never returned to check on us and I had to hunt him down to ask for a glass of water. Overall a good lunch experience and I will be back next time I'm in Montreal.

Delicious food! Great atmosphere! Excellent service! I ordered sweet potato fries and they were a little too salty, otherwise everything was very good! Servings were generous!

The side dishes we got were amazing. French fries cantine style and a decadent Mac and cheese everyone fought over. Alas... The 70$ plate of mixed grilled meat we bought was all overcooked and chewy and literally nobody touched it. Everyone tried one piece of red meat and one piece of chicken and didn't even finish it. It's all going in the compost bin. So we paid 100$ for Mac and cheese and French fries.. It was very disappointing as this place had great reviews. We will 100 percent order the fries and Mac and cheese alone again, but not the meat.

It's been close to 20 yrs since I last ate here. Last time I ate here I wasnt impressed with the quality of the food so I stopped coming. So I decided since I moved back to the waste island I'll try it one more time and man i am happy i did. Food was so fresh and deeeeeelish. We had the best waitress too. Her name is Vicki with an eye. Portions with decent too but man it was soo good. So ya'll come back to moes cause it's better than it was way back.

I've been going to Moe's for 4 years, but my spouse has been going there for 20+ years. We are creatures of habit and always go for the famous #3 (smoked meat, fries, pickle and coleslaw). IT. NEVER. DISAPPOINTS. I've tried several other dishes (club, beef au jus, poutine) and it, without a doubt, is off the charts. I hope to one day create memories with my own children at Moe's Bar & grill.

The food always tastes fresh! And it's real good food!! Please, don t change the cooks! The fries could be a little crispier at times,though!

The food and waiting staff were excellent however the management and pricing policies leave you scratching your head for sanity. I asked to replace the French fries that came with my meal for sweet potatoe fries the waiter informed me that there would be an additional fee for that swap and further informed me that because of my swap I was no longer entitled to the coleslaw that usually comes with my meal. I’m used to paying extra for sweet potatoes and rightfully so considering they are dearer to purchase; but then to remove something I was entitled to after paying a premium is absurd. When the manger came to our table to rationalize this policy well that’s when I thought I was audience to a stand up comedian. He proceeded to condescendingly tell me that I was getting a great deal. And how if I ordered only the sweet potatoe fries it would cost me $6.00 instead of the $3.00 premium I was charged for my swap and that’s why they justify the removal of my coleslaw. If that makes sense to you your a better man than me

Been going there for years when I want smoked meat and it’s still delicious. Best smoked meat in West Island (especially compared to that garbage dump Smoke meat Pete). Large smoke meat sa which with poutine is amazing. Meat is always juicy, tender and delicious. Great traditional tasting poutines and all plates are good size portions. Honestly, I’ve never been disappointed, neither has any of my buddies when we go for boys night out and neither has any my kids when we go as a family. Two thumbs up for me!

Before covid considered myself a regular, just loved there boomba calypso was there tonight and have had it since sadly it’s not the same (steak changed) will have to find a new favourite dish. No worries other restsurants as well are jot the same since covid :(

Was there at 730 pm. For seated and waited 15 min until a waiter came by. Food was great. Waiter was upset with only 3/4 of the regular amount. Watched other people waiting to pay their bill. Only had 5 tables to wait on....

I’m all for supporting local restaurants in difficult times. But when they get lazy, I can’t stand it. Here’s a photo of their “Mac and cheese.” I mean come on…
