First time here and wow definitely worth the wait! We ordered a few dishes based on the server’s recommendations, and wasn’t disappointed. Everything was very flavorful and well made the fried chicken was one of the best I’ve tried in a long time. Definitely worth a visit will be coming back again and again! After the first bite I kept forgetting to take pictures cause as soon as the next dish came out was too busy trying to get a taste!

We recently dined at John 3:16 Malaysian Delight in Richmond, B.C., and it was a delightful experience. The cozy atmosphere set the stage for a culinary journey. The Roti Canai was a star, so good that we couldn't resist ordering two. The Beef Rendang and Lamb Kapitan were rich in flavour, and the Sambal Okra, Greenbeans, and Eggplant provided a perfect balance. The Nasi Goreng was a flavourful highlight. Quick service complemented the overall experience, and the menu prices were reasonable for the exceptional quality. Highly recommend for a satisfying Malaysian feast!

The food here is delicious!! I came here for lunch with my family and everyone absolutely LOVED the food. We didn’t have to wait that long to get seated (despite the restaurant looking pretty busy) and the food came out pretty quickly too. The portion sizes are great, the food is super flavorful and every dish was above and beyond our expectations! Thanks John 3:16 for the awesome experience :)

Surely a delight! This is my second time eating here, and it hits the craving and beyond. We were seated quickly with about an hour to closing. We ordered beef rendang, hainanese chicken, roti, mee goreng and yam rolls. We had ordered everything we had the previous time. The food is so delicious. Will def be back!

The food came fast and all the servers were patient and polite. Food is a bit salty for me but it is normal for Malaysian food. We tried curry laksa, fried noodles, yam roll, beef skewers, and coconut rice, all tasted good. Just not sure why the servers insisted on giving us 3 sets of bowls, knifes and forks, plates, and chopsticks for 5 of us 😜 Will visit again.

The best Malaysian food I've ever had! Ordered the beef rendang and coconut rice, roti canai, char kway teow, and teh tarik; all 10/10 for me. The teh tarik is sweeter than I expected (more sweet than a regular HK milk tea) but still delicious! The beef rendang was so tender and moist too. Also appreciate that you can adjust the spice level for the char kway teow. Great service and nice space as well. Would love to return for the other dishes.

Food was amazing! Very flavourful, slightly spicy and great taste. Very fast service and accommodating to food allergies. Definitely recommend this place if you want warm and delicious food!

Highly recommend the chicken sauteed. The outside was lightly caramelized with sauce, leaving it crunchy and delicious. The beef sauteed was also very delicious but the chicken really knocked it out of the park. The Hainan chicken was pretty good as well. We also ordered the roti canai.
