👍👍 Halal Teppanyaki! This was such a fun experience. The demonstration was amazing and the waiters were super sweet. I got the steak and chicken option, so the chef cooked everything wonderfully. It all had great taste, I mixed the sauce into the rice and ate a piece of meat in every bite. Loved this... Halal Teppanyaki! This was such a fun experience. The demonstration was amazing and the waiters were super sweet. I got the steak and chicken option, so the chef cooked everything wonderfully. Loved this so much! *For halal, call in advance for a reservation and specify halal, so the adequate arrangements can be made*

Food - Tastes great and, it’s reasonably priced for the fact you get a show as well, no complaints. I was however, EXTREMELY disappointed in the amount of Tofu that came with a $7.50 side order. Service - Servers and Chefs were very friendly and accommodating, they forgot our rice but were quick to correct it when mentioned. Atmosphere - Fun yet sophisticated, they do a great job at this. Overall, a great experience and would recommend, but knocking off a star for the fact you get 2 small pieces of Tofu for $7.50.

I have visited various Hibachi restaurants in different countries, but this one stands out as the most disappointing. The cost was high but the experience was lacking. The chef showed a lack of attention to detail and wasn't engaging during the performance. The atmosphere was typical of other Hibachi restaurants and the service was just average. This location needs to improve in order to compete with other branches.

It’s a flashback to the early 90s. I’ve been to many tepanyaki grill restaurants and this was by far the worst. From the dated room to a scared Indian chef who found it “too loud” to perform or get our food cooked timely, to empty cocktail glasses and every person saying they weren’t the server. The onion volcano was 3 rings that was a short fizzle - it was honestly a laugh at how bad it was. The rice & vegetables were cold by the time we got the proteins. Everything was sooooo over salted- the only”trick” the chef knew was to salt the food while he tapped his spatula handle in beat to the salt . The miso soup was luke warm- we were told to share the sushi appetizer - odd no?! The lobster tails were chewy and over cooked. Bland sauces. The drink menu is totally 90s chic - complete with blue curaçao and banana liqueur. The glassware has seen better days and giant glasses of water with straws is just not appealing. We had a prix fixe prepaid dinner to try hibachi and it was a fail. I wouldn’t recommend or go back. They charge 18% gratuity on top of taxes- and claim it’s part of the terms and conditions but couldn’t tell me where. The server was beyond atrocious, and the chef was mediocre at best- not worth 18% - I couldn’t even get a second drink and the bus girl was spraying down the table with cleaner as soon as the other couple left. Other tables did have chefs that were engaging and putting on a show and servers were bringing drinks - I think if you opt for a set menu to try the restaurant they failed by giving the worst service in the corner with the new chef. Bottom line - no idea how they’ve stayed open or why anyone would return. We certainly would not go again or recommend.

Fun Teppanyaki spot for dinner/drinks. Food is average and your money would be better spent somewhere else, but let's be honest, most people are coming for the show! Chef's are talented and know how to work the crowd, adding a dash of fun and excitement with your meal. Each table seemed to be having a great time and it can get quite loud at times. The food is really nothing to write home about - there are endless options for amazing Japanese food downtown. Would I pay full price for a meal here? No. We got the deal on wag Jag which makes the price reasonable, even though we still ended up spending an addition $120 on drinks and some additional apps. If your not too picky with food and are coming more for the show/environment, then you'll likely have a great dinner here - just be sure to check out wag Jag before coming if you want some value.

What a great experience! The chef live cooked our food and made it fun! The staff knew it always a girls night and told us they’ll let us know when to take the good photos and offered to take them for us! The food was good, we upgraded to fried rice. The chicken was better than the meat but both were great. We spoke to the manager on our way out and he was also lovely! Great time!

Not great, medium quality food and salty. the teppanyaki chef was boring. everything was rushed, felt like having a casual food court food. Drinks were over price. soup was cold and tastless, the appetizer sushi was made ameturely, salad was not fresh, This restaurant is kid friendly, lots of kids around. we went with our 10 month old comfortably. Not a romantic vibe, as I said it's a loud casual restaurant.

The chefs performance is the highlight of the meal with lots of tricks and fun for the whole family. Service was also quite good. The food portions and what you get for the price seems a little smaller compared to other teppanyaki restaurants I've been to with the need to pay extra for default items such as fried rice and ice cream. The food is still decent though. Overall it was still a fun experience for the kids.

3.9 / 5.0 - Teppanyaki is always a great experience. This is located at the bottom of a local hotel. This is a good value option for Teppanyaki. Be clear, this is not a high-end experience. The Chefs were good overall. The service was mid - had to ask for drink refills. The food was also mid. Not bad, but the stacking of food left some items cold as they built the plate out. Overall it was fun for the price. There were a lot of couples and dates there. There are about 6-8 Teppanyaki table sections to dine at. So we sat with 6 other people at the 8!person half tables.

Avi was our chef and he was amazing. Musa was our server. The staff here are very kind and attentive. Food was bomb and flavorful. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the food here. We even met the manager and bartender here. Very chill dudes.

For a decent teppanyaki experience, I highly do not recommend anyone try this location. While the immediate entrance was decorated very well, the food was terrible and bland. We ordered the AAA steak and lobster, a cocktail and the corn croquettes. The steak was chewy, and the lobster had the taste of a refrigerator, like it was left for too long. The corn croquettes were decent but very obviously store bought. Overall, the taste of the food was extremely bland and very basic. They offered mayonnaise and salad dressing as dipping sauce for the meats/undercooked vegetables. The show displayed by chef was also very underwhelming. She spent about 1 minute flipping spatulas in the very beginning then nothing else. For a better food and show experience, I'd recommend heading uptown instead. They also forgot the rice that was supposed to accompany our meal, but offered it at the end. When it came time for dessert, they specifically offered us mango cheesecake or ice cream, which I thought was nice since they seemed apologetic for missing the rice. However, they actually charged us for the costco mango cheesecake. Lastly, be very careful of walking in the restaurant. While dimly lit and atmospheric, the floors are extremely slippery, especially at the dining table.

Chef was fun and entertaining as he prepares the teppanyaki on our table. Great showmanship. Dishes were delicious and came a variety of sauces and dips. Service was fast and efficient. I highly recommend the green tea mochi ice cream for dessert. It was so yummy and refreshing. This is a great place for a first date if you want to avoid too formal setting, awkward silences and want something more different, fun and very casual. I noticed many couples enjoying the fun atmosphere and the teppanyaki show. Kids in the restaurant were also very highly entertained. Tip: they do a really nice fun greeting for birthday celebrants.

Had the summerlicious menu and honestly with me you can never go wrong with hibachi because its just fun to watch. In terms of the food, salmon steak was beautifully done and so was the veggies. Green tea cheesecake was good but nothing spectacular for those who are curious to try.

I had an incredible experience at this Hibachi restaurant in Toronto! The sizzling show put on by the talented chefs was not only entertaining but also showcased their impressive culinary skills. The flavors of the hibachi-grilled dishes were exceptional – a perfect blend of freshness and seasoning. The ambiance was lively and the staff was attentive, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted with warmth and professionalism. Whether you're a fan of Japanese cuisine or just looking for a unique dining experience, this Hibachi restaurant is a must-try in Toronto. I'll definitely be coming back for more delicious moments around the grill! 🔥🍣

Service was A grade. They are really serving you like you are at your home and your mumma serves you. It feels so home. The vibes are positive and ambience is really nice . We have had our office dinner. It went super well. I loved the experience. But I feel a thing that they have very less options for vegetarian people.

Enjoyed a dinner at Hibachi on February 10, 2024. Japanese cooking table is always a great experience. Chef and servers as well as hostesses did an amazing job at being professional and welcoming. Steak and lobster were delicious. Hibachi also has some unique cocktails to choose from such as Sake Caesar. The restaurant has nice interior design - very stylish.

The food was quite good and forgot to even take pictures of it. I definitely recommend the Chef’s plate with sirloin steak, shrimp & chicken. Also opted for a $5.5 of noodles instead of rice with my meal. The chef was also very entertaining even though it got very loud with all the utensils clanking!

Food is decent but nothing special. You’re going for the show of having it cooked in front of you. The chefs have some nice skills with their cookware.

I ordered the chicken teppanyaki and shrimp roll and I would say the food is nothing special (appreciate that it’s halal though), but the experience was cool for my first time. We went during the afternoon so it was pretty empty and we received good service. Not sure if I’d return as I’ve already seen what it’s about.

Overall a great experience. Food is very good and their sauces are definitely a big hit for good reason. We had an awesome chef and that makes for a big part of the experience. Some of the apps could be missed but the beef, chicken, and fried rice is definitely a hit.

Awesome place for a celebration (not so much if you’re sensitive to noise) - food is surprisingly good. Went here for tepanyaki with a party of 8 (3 adults 5 kiddos). I’ve been to enough tepanyakis to know that I’m coming in primarily for the entertainment/experience and not the quality of food. I was pleasantly surprised that their filet mignon was tender, juicy, and flavourful - I asked for medium rare and actually got a medium rare. The scallops we ordered were also done just right. These two items are usually overcooked in most tepanyaki places I’ve been to, so kudos for getting these just right! The chef was entertaining and the kids enjoyed the “show”. It was my kiddo’s birthday so they gave him a cake on the house and sang for him. Wait service was polite and attentive, and paid attention to the needs of the kids in our party as well. If you have tinnitus or sensitive to noise - this place is not for you. There’s a lot of banging noises. They automatically add 18% to your bill for service (which to me seems reasonable). If you enjoyed the chef’s performance - consider tipping them separately in cash.

The food was good but not extraordinary. The service was very good and our chef made the hibachi experience worth while. The best part was that they had halal meet and I tried the chicken which I enjoyed. Quantity wise it was less.

I love this place (their food and sushi’s are number one) couple things that made me this review was. The portions of their avocado salad! I paid $8 for the salad, to only receive 4 pieces of avocado and couple pieces of lettuce! Mind you i didn’t even get a dressing!! I was starving and i was so excited about my salad. I hope they can improve this for the next visit! Thank you.

It was a really great experience. Fine dining at its best. The fanciest restaurant in Toronto right now. The servers were really nice. The ambience was good. The food was amazing. We had the teppanyaki set, and it is enough to share between 2 people. It came with a side of miso soup, house salad with ginger dressing and steamed rice. It was yummy. The sushis were nice. The steak tasted average. This place has a certain posh vibe to it surrounded with continental music. So it is easy to feel out of place if you are not used to going to this type of fancy place. But if you can afford it, this place is definitely worth a try.

The good was so delicious!!! What I ate: appetisers - crispy fried calamari: perfectly golden, delicate pieces of calamari, each bite with a satisfying, audible crunch. Beneath the crispy exterior was succulent, tender calamari that releases a burst of oceanic flavors with every bite. - golden coconut shrimp: I especially loved how fresh the coconut tasted on the shrimp too. Lovely crunch and flavour. It’s a symphony of textures - the initial crunch, followed by the soft, resilient shrimp, creating a culinary masterpiece in your mouth! Both 10/10. SUSHI: - Grilled chicken. - Spicy crabmeat very good but not spicy enough. - - miso soup 10/10. It was my first time trying Sushi again in awhile and it actually wasn’t so bad 😆 Teppanyaki We had: The Deluxe Combo: Shrimp, Scallops, Lobster and some noodles. 10/10 the reason for my visit and absolutely fun experience. I’d recommend you go with a friend or in a group. It’s a fun, interactive atmosphere where the dancing flames not only sear the ingredients but also infuse them with a smoky, charred flavor that’s unique to Teppanyaki.

This isn't really the type of place people in my opinion would go to for quality food, it's usually to accommodate large groups and enjoy a show. Steak didn't appear to be seasoned but I guess the residue from other dishes they cooked before was the seasoning, we did see a sauce added at the end to the steak. Chicken definitely was not seasoned. California roll is generic western sushi, nothing exciting. Miso soup, shrimp, veggies and steak however did turn out well Mango ice cream tasted more like orange As it was a large group , we had to pick one menu and picked c. We parked at the garage on Stewart street for an evening weekend rate of $6

It was a fun experience, but sooo SALTY, everything was covered in soya sauce, the place is clean! We ordered a couple rolls and 1 hand roll( which they forgot). The sushi was small but tasty. Our server was friendly and informative. It’s a one and done for us!

I never expected to eat at a place this but it was a surprisingly fun experience. Having your food cooked in front of you will never be boring. This place is very popular with kids as when I went, all the tables were filled with families and children. The fried rice, veggies, and filet mignon were pretty solid. The apps (sushi, etc) tasted like grocery store food and other cuts of meat we had (chicken, scallops, and lobster tail) were extremely overcooked and had a rubbery texture. The cocktails were really cheap, though, and reminded me of resort drinks.

We all had a great time, they are on time though. So I recommend to arrived early. They start with appetizers and 15-20mins it's all out and ready to be served.. after the main course(the most awaited event) 😁Our server is friendly and kind,. She explained to us about the sitting arrangements, But the chef that cooked for us is a bit quiet. We shared the table with the other customers,.

Had the teppanyaki for lunch, service was good and our chef was very nice. Food was just alright and a little pricy for what you get. The steak was very chewy, although cooked medium rare. Rest of the meal was just a typical Asian meal (scallops, veggies, and rice). You are basically paying for the show. We ordered a hand roll as appetizers and because the sushi chef was new, you can tell they were still learning how to roll properly - which didn’t bother us but found it amusing!
