Interesting and fun market to visit for locals and tourists. Lots of variety of food, but mostly guilty pleasures (pie, pizza, candy, beavertail, donut, chocolate, maple treats, etc.). The big apple has an observation deck at the top. I'll be sure to visit again in the future.

My favourite place for freshly made apple fritters and pies! A must stop if you’re driving along the 401, its super easy to spot with the giant apple in the front. On weekends they have local small businesses, they always have food trucks, a petting zoo, and mini putt for the kids as well.

We had a fantastic time. Wish we could've stayed longer. So many varieties of food to choose from. Great souvenir shops and desserts are so good. You have to come and try them. Worth visiting! Great for pit stop!

The Big Apple doesn't disappoint :) There are a lot of 'apple' options like pie, strudel, cider and a ton more. Moreover, the smokehouse fills the area with a satisfying smell. Looks like over a few thousand products to shop and there is also a garden decor boutique. Lots of fune for everyone.

Used to cross this big apple while driving towards west from Toronto. This is the first time we got the opportunity to explore this. I haven't realized how interesting it is. They build the place thoughtfully. We enjoyed all activities and different food. Their vegetable pie is the best one in my life.

Very nice place with lots to do and lots to buy.Wide variety of products, organized and displayed well. These items are baked on site and bakers are visible. There are activities for kids and adults. You can get food in the restaurant,a bar, sweets, and extensive apple products.

This is our required stop whenever we pass by. They have fresh baked apple goods as well as tons of other things that kids would love. Petting zoo, candy store, photo ops, large bakery, mini golf, food trucks and much more! They are open late as well!

Every year, we go here at least once! Always worth a visit. The food selection is great. Mumble Crumble apple pie is the BEST apple pie there is!!! There is a great area for kids to go golfing, a free carousel and free train ride, and a free farm to visit! What a fun place for little kids with zero cost at all. The giant apple structure is a great photo op and I believe you can climb up inside it but we have never tried. It gets really busy at times especially when there is a bus of tourists that comes along but it never bothered our visit or experience.

Grew up going here and it was always a treat. Started coming back again recently for the Dutch apple pies which are amazing - apple pie with raisins and custard. We also typically get apple fritters but they have been hit or miss. We think one batch was old and they weren’t worth it but recently got another batch that were much much better. The inconsistency is why we gave 4 stars. Recommend not getting apple fritters if look round and plump - the flatter ones were better (if that means anything lol)

Worth a visit and a great pitsstop on the 401 East. Ample parking space. Lots of activities to do for kids. Good Food options inside and also in the food trucks that were present outside. They have so many varieties of desserts and bakery items. Very hard to resist. Priced nominally. There is a mini golf course which even adults can play, some rides for the kids and a petting zoo as well. A great spot for a summer weekend.

I visited The Big Apple after almost 30 years while on my to eastern Ontario. I remember them having the best apple pies amongst other menu items. But I did not anticipate the sheer options they had. The Christmas decorations inside had been set up and the experience was that of being transported to a Christmas market wonderland. Took a while to take in all the various displays. I ended up grabbing some fresh maple syrup and apple crumble, but I will be back for sure ( to take in the Christmas market and other activities). Even after all these years the food quality has only gotten better. I strongly recommend anyone heading along the 401 to take sometime and stop in. You won't be disappointed. Even if you don't have a trip planned its only a 1.5 hour drive from Toronto and well worth the visit.

A nice stop along the way heading between Ottawa and Toronto. Nice clean washrooms are always a good find on a road trip. 👌 Apple pie can be hit and miss, I guess. The first time I came here, I had the best Apple pie from here, and it's never been as good as that since. It's still pretty good, though, so I keep coming back. Apple bread 🍞 for the win here. Always consistently good. As of writing this review, the sign says they have sold over 2 million loaves. They must be doing something right to sell that many. Had the traditional poutine. It was acceptable.

I love this place.. The smell is phenomenal when you walk inside . So very cool to actually see them making their baked goods. We bought a bunch of stuff. I thought I would try these new Apple Toffee wth Almonds and white chocolate Biscotti. Only because they were on sale. Sad part is we live 2 hours away or I would have driven back. They charged me the full price. Which means they did not make the change in the system. Sale price 4.99 but I paid $ 6.99 Not worth the 2 bucks when you would have to spend $40 on gas. 😂 Sad part is nobody will get that sale price until they change it in their system. 🙄
