As a trans woman, it's often hard to find a safe and judgment-free place to find what you need, but this one is indeed a safe place for trans people. I came to the clinic in order to find a suitable premium wig and everyone over there was absolutely wonderful. I found what I needed with some help and never felt uncomfortable or judged through the entire process. I also met with the owner, Cam, who was lovely and incredibly knowledgeable. I came out of the place with a fantastic wig and lots of tips and instructions on how to take care of it. You also have the benefit of getting one free adjustment should you need one in the future.

the owner is very arrogant, difficult to communicate with, he claims diplomacy but his attitude is really disgusting. He imposes his choices and does not give you the space to explore the different options. If you ever consider using his services (which I hope you don't after our experience), try to negotiate everything and not let him decide for you.

Anyone questioning the quality of the piece have clearly not been around and see what others are offering. I did the mistake to first go to another competitor who sources their systems from China (the same one's you can buy online). The material of the base is cheap and thick, not allowing my scalp to breathe which caused my system to get detached often. The piece at Cam's clinic is second to none, the quality of the hair is amazing, and actually looks like it grows directly from your scalp! It is undetectable and allows for your scalp to breathe and sweat to evaporate (which is god sent during the summer) due to the amazing quality and thinness of the base. The way they mold the piece on you makes it fit like a glove on your head giving you a natural look.Cam is a true visionary, creative artist and a figure of authority and expertise with all to do with hair and hair replacement. Please do yourself a favor and go to him and nowhere else, it will be the best decision you've ever made and his prices are extremely competitive!

My best friend lost his hair and he went to the hair clinic for his new hair system. He had ordered a garbage hair system online that looked like a toupee. What an amazing hair system he installed at the hair clinic! It looked so real, i could swear it looked like it’s growing from roots on his own scalp.

Even though some may think he is opinionated, Camille has an impeccable eye for what is most suitable for his clients and has their best interest at heart. He helped me resolve my thinning hair problem and guide me through the meanders of possibilities available on the market. He steered me professionally towards the spot-on hairpiece and recommended the perfect colorist to match the colors. For at least a year, maybe two, I debated whether I should get a hair system to deal with my hair loss. I considered all my options: hair transplant, finasteride, minoxidil… Now, it’s been a month since I had my hair system installed at The Hair Clinic Montreal, and my only regret is not going for it sooner. The staff is friendly, attentive, and helpful. The owner, Cam, is clearly an expert in his field, and he gives you the time of day. After a couple phone calls and emails to see if a hair system would fit my needs, we scheduled an in-person consultation, and he was immediately able to identify my hair type, texture, and color, and found me a piece that looks exactly like my natural hair. Now that I’m wearing the piece, I can’t even notice where my natural hair ends and the piece begins. When the time came to install the piece, I was expecting a very long process. I’d done research, watched videos, and heard general talk about hair systems. But the entire process went much smoother and faster than I expected. While I was very conscious about the piece when I first put it on - mostly because I was afraid of pulling it up at the hairline - now, it’s easy to forget I’m even wearing a piece. It doesn’t feel like I have anything on my head other than my hair, and so far, I’ve received nothing but compliments from people who were accustomed to seeing me with a hat on, and a confused question or two from long-time friends who have witnessed my hair loss progression. I was looking for a hair clinic and at last I found this one in downtown Montreal. Cam was very understanding and explain me in details about the hair replacement system without any pressure. I was decided to get a system and this clinic was my first choice because of the good reviews and videos on Youtube. I emailed them with some legit questions but I never got any response from them, so I decided to search the web for more information. Glad they didn't answer because I found that they charge around 1k for something that costs way cheaper. I've done some researchs and ended up buying a system for 200$ and having it installed for 100$. After 3 weeks wearing a system I can tell you that you can do everything yourself. There are many forums and youtube channels where wearer give lot of information. A salon is good for your first attachement so you can have the piece cut and attached, but not at this price and not this clinic that charges way too much for something you can do yourself. After 3 weeks wearing, I can remove my system, clean it and reattach it without any help. If you are able to pay the price, go for it, otherwhise, search on the internet and whatever they told you you'll get the same system quality they offer cheaper online. 100% of the systems on the market come from China, their marketing promesses are BS as far as I know They will tell you that you can keep your system for 1 month before reattaching, that's gross (1 week is my limit before it starts feeling inconfortable and smelly). Don't get fooled, stay away and do your due diligence. Here attached a system I've paid 200$ and attached the first time for 100$.

After 2 hair implant surgeries that failed to give me the results I was looking for I thought my chances of having a full head of hair were over. I believe he did this because he quickly realized that I needed that extra bit of support to feel comfortable and for that I am eternally grateful to him. I have been a client of Clinique Capillaire since December 24th 2020 at 9pm when owner Cam accepted to take me as a new client on Christmas Eve night. After a terrible experience at one of their international competitors who sold me an overpriced and terrible hair piece, Cam took it upon himself to make sure I would not have the same experience with him and his team. Clinique Capillaire offered me a hair piece that has lasted longer than expected due to the great maintenance services that they offer. In case of last minute appointments, Cam and his team always find a way to accommodate me. Friendly, professional and most importantly work for their clients rather than a quick profit if what I would say best describes Clinique Capillaire. I would recommend anyone in need of a hair solution to visit them as they are the best in Montreal!

I received my hair piece on July 31, 2021. I still have it and am very satisfied. I was able to keep it for 1 1/2 years following the recommendations. I apply the leave-in conditioner every morning after wetting the part with my water bottle. Also, I wash my hair once a week. I do my maintenance every 3 or 4 weeks. I can swim without problem. I have to do a touch-up (glue application) about once a week and that's it. The staff is welcoming. I am very satisfied and recommend the place highly. This choice changed my life and my self-esteem.

Cam is a master hair-stylist and gives beautiful cuts to the hairpieces. He's very experienced, knowledgeable, compassionate, and knows how to put his clients at ease.
