It was overall a great experience. The staff was very friendly and the service was quick. The food and the presentation were excellent. Would recommend for anyone looking for a nice dinner or a date night.

We went here to celebrate my partner's birthday. Our friends and us had a great time with Cô Ba. Overall, super satisfied! Ambiance: warm, cozy, intimate and vibrant at night. We went for dinner at night on weekday, the restaurant was packed so it was a bit loud. Though the manager was thoughtful to lower the music's volume so it got better afterward. Service: super attentive from the hostess to the servers to the floor manager. The timing between the appetizers, sashimi and main dishes showcased the professional table waiting skill (not everywhere does). Sashimi & sushi: fresh, sweet, succulent and well-balanced flavors. Love their ponzu dip. Special rolls: on the bigger size (not one bite per piece), though they are unique, they will get you full fast. 😅. Beverage: we are biere people, so we can only vouch for IPPON biere, Japanese recipe but made locally in QC. Unique flavors, smooth and easy to drink while still packed with different notes that linger on your palate. Price: on the pricy side, not sure if it has to do with location. Though you will have one of the highest quality sashimi in the market. Therefore, i personally think it's worth it, at least for special occasion.

Probably the best sashimi I have had in Montreal. Even their kitchen smells like kitchens in japan. ☺️ The fish was super fresh and melted in out mouths. The umeshu drink was also excellent.

I was enticed by looking at the pictures on IG and FB and it was so good and beautifully presented as the photos showed. Make sure you make a reservation! Some comments from years ago say it is a byob but it is not anymore. The wine prices were still reasonable. The food and the ambiance was awesome so we will definitely go back.

Excellent sushi restaurant with a calm and quiet ambiance. We didn’t order from the menu and took the chef’s recommendation and specifically asked for a balanced menu between sashimi and rolls. The yellow tail sashimi in the first dish was a bit too cold, otherwise the fish were fresh and the accompanying dressing is excellent. I wouldn’t recommend ordering both the lobster and the oyster au gratin as it is using the same mayo sauce and it can be quite heavy. The specialty rolls are delicious as well although the batter for the tempuras are a bit thick. Definitely a recommended restaurant.

We didn't really know what to expect but we were very pleased with the generous amounts of delicious fresh sushi in a very nice, comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. With many choices of classic and signature items we had difficulty narrowing it down 😅 but eveything we chose was incredible.

Excellent food. Menu is extensive and seasonal to a particularly high standard. Definitely fine dining. Great selection of alchohol and the staff is super friendly! Highly recommended to anyone who wants to have a unique dining experience.

What an incredible experience. We asked the owner to recommend/surprise us with dishes for the 6 of us. Each dish that arrived at the table was impeccably presented, flavourful, and different. Definitely not your average sushi experience. Exquisite service. Perfect for a special occasion. Including two photos of dishes 🤗

If you are a sushi lover this is the place for you. I can honestly say that this was one of the best sushi restaurants I've been in MTL and I've been to many. The sushi was extremely fresh We got the sashimi lover but we don't eat raw scallops but they were kind enough to replace it with salmon sashimi which was really nice of them. The portions were thick and so yummy. 6 different sashimis for the price of 25$. We also shared a few different rolls together, avocado roll, kamikaze sake, tokyo tuna, paradis roll and the truffle tuna which was my favourite. We came here on a Saturday around 845 so there's wasn't that many ppl. The service was fast and our waiter was really friendly. I can say that this place is in my top 5 sushi places in MTL that I would recommend. Definitely coming back here.

Wonderful staff greeted me upon my rival. The dishes were beautiful and came out in a greet cadence. Fresh sashimi and delicious dishes.

We ordered from the website for a pick-up and that came with a great perk: 20% off! The food was impeccable, delicious. Every ingredient tasted great; the shrimps appeared fresh and the chicken perfectly cooked, very juicy! The service was punctual, when we arrived it was ready to go. Definitely recommended!

The sushi is normally very good but tonight when we picked up our order and brought it home it was hot!!!! Warmer than room temperature…. Sushi should be kept in the fridge not on the counter! Very very disappointed… through out half! 🤮

I am so happy that i went and experienced this place during my journey in montreal. I have been living here for 4 years and its the best sushi place i ever been into. The atmosphere, the service and quality are top tier. I expect people to enjoy this place the way i enjoy it. Thank you so much Coba Sushi! I really enjoy it.
