A great museum. The demonstration of the engines of the Lancaster and the other one on the trailer was phenomenal. The trip through the Lancaster was a great experience. Highly recommended!

Fee is by donation of your choice. Be generous. The museum requires tremendous maintenance. All displays and aircraft are in superb condition. Films from archives that are not seen outside the museum. Library material can be viewed via their website. Fascinating films in many locations throughout the museum. Interesting photographs and quick to read displays. The display designer is talented! Picnic tables in the park next to the hanger.

Great museum. Volunteers and staff make the visit really special as they are passionate about rebuilding the planes and more than happy to tell you stories and information about the builds and models. Thought we would be in and out in under an hour and spent over 2 hours. Make sure to visit on a Saturday or check the schedule to make sure to go when the volunteer builders are there

Staff and volunteers are fantastic, concessions very tasty, gift shop well stocked and priced. Engine runs and short historical introductions added to the experience.

Took my kids here on Heritage day. Fantastic museum, with so much to learn and appreciate! The staff are kind, and it's all wheelchair accessible. We were lucky enough to see them run all 4 engines on the Lancaster.

Thank you for hosting our homeschool group! Booking was a breeze. Our guide was engaging and informative. There was so much to learn, and the bombers on display were fantastic. This is a must visit location if you are in the area!

Volunteer run, amazing place to visit. Keep an eye out for when they run the engines. Please consider donating when you visit so they can keep up their amazing work.

I'm an American. Been to lots of museums like this one. It was great. My nephew is 10 and a huge WWII nerd. Has his own books and plane magazine with him. The staff was amazing and the planes were great. Couldn't recommend it more.

More than I expected. Amazing volunteers telling historic stories that leave you with goosebumps. What a unique idea for a birthday party, so glad I finally got to check it out.

They started up the engines on rhe Lancaster plane and you could go inside it, had a Snowbird plane that you could sit in plus other planes to look at. Today they honoured the 429 squadron.

Great little museum, lots to read and learn about history of WW2. Lots of hands on things. Cool planes and engines. Easy to find. Ample parking. Clean bathrooms. Admission is based on donation. Great experience for us! We will come back with my dad!

Well this was a great surprise. Came to Nantoon to visit family and was told about this museum. And that they have a Lancaster Bomber on site And that the do an engine run from time to time And that's right Friday night engine run it was awesome. I didn't get to see much of the museum but bought some cool souvenirs. I was in awe of the massive engines and the sound. Made me remember the Men and Women who fought for our freedom. Lest we Forget ❤️🇨🇦🇬🇧

The planes they have are great for the everyday visitor or the aviator. Plus you can see & talk with the team actively restoring one. Plus they aren't just sjow pieces but the engines start & run. Tom Cruise would be excited with the rarity & so should you

Amazing place. They are keeping our history alive, one story at a time. Definitely stop by when they're doing an engine run, which is every few weeks this summer.

Learned a lot of history in this place...was lucky to talk to a guy who happens to be a former director of this museum. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and showing us around. Greatly appreciated!

We saw it from the road and decided to stop as we were passing through. They have a great display of planes and some nice interactive displays as well. Definitely worth the stop!

A well done museum especially if you're interested in WWII aircraft and history. Was fortunate to have attended an engine start up and run of the Lancaster bomber. Sounded awesome!

Decided to take a short afternoon drive from Calgary to explore what the museum had to offer. I was pleasantly surprised at what was compiled for exhibit by the wonderful volunteers. The displays were a mixture of static and interactive that helped you appreciate the harsh reality of the European wars. Plan to spend 2-3 hours to go through the exhibits.
