Really great wildlife park, which is basically a zoo. This was a spontaneous trip with no reservation; was really fun, although the drive in to purchase took at least 10 minutes, so leave extra time for that. There's enough to see in at least 1.5h, but comfortably 2h. Note that around noon, a good portion of animals tend to sleep or rest so you might not get a chance to see them. Recommend going earlier or later in the day to see more of them out and roaming. Take a picture of the map to make sure you don't miss any of the trails and wildlife. Prices are actually reasonable.

The zoo is not big. It only takes about an hour to go around. With bears, a hibernating animal, out of business, that's about a dozen species. Luckily, the kids love it and the animals are nice. Moose is super "dedicated" and the otters are enthusiastic. Other seasons should be more fun, there are a few trails in the park, and you can have a picnic. PS: Open only on weekends in winter, 9am-3pm. Admission is not expensive, $8 for three people. Bring some change. 25 cents will feed the deer 🦌

The kids had an absolute blast and it was a grand time. Hella cheap, too. Less than $13 for one adult and four kids. We saw baby beavers! Did you know that they have explorer backpacks on loan for kids at no charge? I sure didn't, but the kids loved using them. We will definitely be back.

This is one of the best parks in Nova Scotia, they take great care of their animals and have spacious enclosures for each animal. The gift shop is creative and has diagrams of marshland animals and there's a cheap ice cream stand. Admission is less than $10 per adult. I love going here and always make sure to go multiple times throughout the summer.

A great park to visit with the kids. For us the black bear and the moss are the most interesting animals to see. There was no diversity and that's understandable given the winter weather. Nature is magnificent, but remember to use an anti-spary for the insects.

It was a mesmerizing trip which I experienced in Nova Scotia. If people like driving definitely it is must visit place. The forest was so nice but we could see only some animals. But we went in afternoon time all was sleeping so I think better to go in morning we can see their full view.

Super cheap entry (less than $5 for an adult), lots of various species and not too big or spread out that you need to spend all day here. My only qualms were that a few of the animals listed on the map were not actually available to see (and I don't mean they were hiding in their enclosure) and that chain link fence was the main barrier instead of say plexiglass. Still, I had a great time.

We had a great time seeing all the different animals and birds. It was busy on the weekend with considerable line up around 11am-12pm but was easy enough to find a parking spot. Very well organized and can recommend easily.

Extremely pleased with the park’s atmosphere. I took my weekend off from Halifax, which was worth the time! Nature and everything just blend in perfectly. Just a bit sad that we could see the otters and groundhogs. I really recommend this place!

Great spot for families and the young at heart. Get up close and personal with the wildlife. Lovely shady forest trails and along marshes. Ice cream and lemonade treats to end our first visit.

Joyfully surprised by this well kept little gem. Took the family there to check out all the wildlife and trails. Nice clean park, with good info on each animal, insect and reptile. If your ever in the area or need a day to take in some nature alone or with the family I highly suggest this place. We will be going back.

I would say this is a place for group day out. ~ Loads of parking spaces, ~ Small mart on site, ~ Ice Cream kiosks too ~ Washrooms available ~ Picnic area too with benches and tables so I would suggest you go with your games too The biggest black bear I have seen so far on site, as we have been to a few Safari Parks. That been said, to be honest I was expecting to see "Wild Animals" but based on the kind of animals they have commensurate to the entry fee....not bad. It was a long queue for us entering the park the day we were here in spring due to payment at the gate before one can enter the park. Overall it was a fun filled day for us....🙂

Absolutely lovely stopping place while touristing, but to be honest when me and my boyfriend went there this past August 2023, what made our trip was the boy that worked the ice cream/ snack booth!! He was such a nice kid with exceptional customer service skills, give that kid a raise he’s a hard worker.
