Do you need a feed of lobster 🦞? This is the place to come! Feel the cool breeze from the Ocean from the rooftop lookout here. Observe the massive tide level differences here at the Bay of Fundy. Of course enjoy all the food here. It is a great place to come as a group and enjoy a great atmosphere, company and conversation. It is very clean here and the staff are friendly and quick. Remember to order and pay in the gift shop downstairs first and then go upstairs and wait for the delicious meal. This classic building and location gives a true Nova Scotia experience.

I didn’t eat in the restaurant as it was out of my budget, but the place is very cute and the ice-cream was delicious and affordable. I was recommended to go here and the people said the food is fantastic. They have HUGE lobsters! You can bring your dog on the patio, but not inside the restaurant or gift shop. A beautiful spot!

Very nice place in Halls Harbour. Yesteday, we had the crispy lobster wrap ($30) with Caesar salad ($4) and the lobster mac & cheese ($24). Both are delicious. I especially love the crispy lobster wrap and it’s the first time I’ve seen it offered in a restaurant menu after almost two weeks of being in the Maritimes. It would have been perfect if it was low tide as the boats would be sitting on the ground! Seeing that would be so cool! 😎

Well decorated and overall nice restaurant just on the pier. The gift shop inside the restaurant with a big gift variety was also nice to have. I had the seafood chowder without the lobster (as I had a lobster roll separately) and if was nicely cooked and had a great taste. The lobster roll was tasty too but my only remark would be the bread roll. For the type of food, the restaurant style, the price and the location a more artisanal bread roll would compliment the lobster more. Better than an average hot dog roll that came with it, but that's me. Overall a good meal . The staff was. Very friendly and accommodating, all of them. Thanks for the hospitality.

What a beautiful spot!! It's like your own little piece of beach. Loved reading the history of the place. It was so quiet and peaceful there!! Next time we'll take our lawn chairs and sit by the water.

Treated wonderfully. Food was out of this world! And the views, come on! 5/5 for sure, recommend highly! Get the large lobster, my cuzzin said if you’re going to eat the lobster, get the largest one you can!

Hello Hall's Harbour! Made our annual trek out to the lobster pound last night with our Ontario family. Delicious as always! Clean, great service, friendly staff! We wanted cocktails, hut they don't serve them which is my only complaint & not a big deal. One of the staff did offer to take our party of 6 back to her house for drinks tho! (We didn't go, mostly because the other people in my group are sticks in the mud). Anyway....I had the lobster roll & loved it. Portions are decent & we all left more than satisfied! I'd definitely recommend this spot! It's super busy though! Call ahead, go early, do whatever ya gotta do...just GO!

The views are so worth it, the food was ok. We had a lobster, lobster roll, kids fish n chips, kids chicken fingers, seafood chowder and fish tacos. The atmosphere is what made this for us!

Came for the views and stayed for ice-cream...and witnessed a 17lb lobster (75 years old) in the tank Great location to see the Tide ebb and flow. Truly a force of nature.

Had a lobster meal, and while I loved the lobster, I didn't much care for the potato salad. The rest of our party was very pleased with their meals. The location and surroundings were beautiful! We arrived at low tide, and upon leaving, the tide had started coming in, and the sun was starting to set and was gorgeous. Very nice gift shop and pleasant staff.

Awesome food, son recommended this restaurant and he was right, food is fresh, tastey and staff is polite. Only drawback is entrance and exit, tight and on an uphill with a bend coming on the right of exit and uphill on left so patrons need to watch going out. View from top deck of restaurant is beautiful and the air is ocean fresh. Will try to make this an annual trip, especially for the lobster roll!!!

We came to Halls Harbour for dinner and were surprised that it was counter service. We got 2 pasta dishes: the seafood one and the chicken one. They were good, but not great. We also got the calamari and loved those. Overall, the atmosphere was fantastic and they went above and beyond by letting me hold a 22Lb lobster!!!

This is right on The Bay of Fundy and the lobster is fresh and plentiful. It is a working lobster pound, so fresh lobster is brought in daily. The views of the bay from the 3rd level deck are spectacular. The food is very good and reasonably (for these days) priced for what you get. It's a casual, laid-back back place with friendly, helpful staff.

An amazing meal in a beautiful location. Watched the tide come in as our food was being prepared. The jumbo lobsters are incredible

Very good experience! First you get to view the different sizes of lobster in large tanks, before ordering the approx size & weight, and heading into the restaurant to wait for it to be cooked. The lobster is well prepped, cracked in the ideal places & you get a lobster bib to keep your clothes clean. Highly recommend.

This place is famous for the best lobsters. We decided to test this statement. The village itself is very small. We got there at low tide. There were very few people, but the staff was incredibly pleasant and friendly. The lobster chowder was very tasty. We also liked the lobster rolls. After lunch we took a short walk along the beach.

Awesome, awesome place to end the day after visiting vineyards in the Annapolis valley. Around 25-30 minutes from most of the vineyards, but the food and the view are well worth the detour. The place has been renovated in the last year, as they added patios and changed the decoration, for the better. The harbour is fun to walk around. Staff is friendly and prices are fair.

Delicious in every way. Had a bit of a lineup to order and was busy. Person behind the counter took the time to see if there were table available upstairs and there were before taking our order. Once we ordered and got seated, food was delivered timely. We had a lobster roll and a lobster wrap. Wonderful! Beautiful sunset view and of the tide coming in. We took the time before eating to walk along the ocean. Great location.

Excellent service and food! We were sitted on the patio so our dog can be with us. That’s a big plus for us! The lobster was well prepped, cracked in the ideal places. We recommend this place definitely!

Beautiful spot along nova scotia edge to enjoy good view and an amazing view. Although this is first time I haven't finished a meal here, the lobster pouting was way too sweet and rich, I couldn't eat it

We hosted our wedding rehearsal dinner here and it couldnt have been a more beautiful evening! The service was fabulous (thank you Hillary!!), the food was amazing and the view cannot be beat! Highly recommend!

lobster poutine! surprised at the amount of lobster meat! it would've been nice if the lobster was warm, it was still chilly. The sauce was delicious the fries were from frozen. I thought they would've been fresh cut. friend had calamari, they were breaded calamari rings, expected better. cute location, I bet it's busy in the summer.

If you want to see a live lobster, this is your place!! We had the whole lobster, and deep fried clams. Both absolutely delicious! Loved the clams. The view was gorgeous and there's a really nice gift shop

I was going to have 5 stars but the sizing of the lobster is slightly off. I ordered a large and it says it will be 2 lbs. The lobster arrived and it is close to 1.3 to 1.5lbs. The clowder base was ok but the seafood was fresh. The mussels were really fresh. Overall the service was good and I like the outside seating a lot.

Went with a few people. Got a 2.4 lb lobster, was very good. And a lobster mac and cheese and a gluten free mac and cheese. Both very good. Atmosphere was excellent and dog friendly patio was awesome! Only reason it didn't get 5 stars was 23 bucks is a bit pricy even for lobster mac and cheese. It was good but not $23 good lol great little gift shop as well!

Great place for dinner. Had the steamed whole lobster and it was fresh! You can see the lobsters on display in the gift shop. The surrounding views are incredible, and you can sit on the deck for an unobstructed view.

Beautiful place. Watch the changing tides, a great seafood restaurant on the wharf. The seafood is very fresh. We watched a boat pull in, offload their catch and deliver it to the pound/ restaurant.

Coming to Halls Harbour was a decision made by my friend who has been living in the area for a couple of years. A group of 6 girls, celebrating our 50th birthday year and this was a perfect spot to enjoy lobster and the view. A reservation had been made, as it can get quite busy. When you enter, there is a gift shop and a lobster tank ( on our visit there was a ginormous 90 something year old lobster that was taken out for us to respect and learn about). You order your food here and then we shuffled off to the upstairs and our table. The servers were so kind and chatted with us for a spell, taking our photo as a group as well. If you want delicious lobster, this is your place. Great prices, great lobster AND gluten free options for my fellow celiac travelers. I enjoyed the gf lobster Mac and cheese while my friends enjoyed the lobster dinner and a lobster salad. Afterwards we took photos of the water and view, while also noticing the change in tide from arriving to leaving. Amazing experience, great drive to get there and food was fantastic.

Absolutely incredible lobster lunch, but the selection of patios (we chose the highest patio) with incredible views was even better. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a lobster dinner/lunch in a traditional fishing village!

Best lobster Mac and cheese I’ve ever had!! Wow. Hubby had chowder soup with lobster and the lobster roll. He said best chowder soup he has had and he’s from Newfoundland. Wicked place to eat! Would highly recommend and we will definitely be back.

Fresh lobster right from a tank in the store. Seating outside the restaurant has a full view of docked boats that raise and lower with the tide. Gift shop is one of the more reasonably priced of the ones we've been to. Parking is on the side of a cliff overlooking the ocean. Amazing for photos.
