Arigatou ありがとう ! This little joint is dope, an awesome hidden gem and easily a five star without a doubt!! We are so blessed to have good sushi all around Vancouver. However, this joint is by far a cut above the rest and some of the best sushi I have had in a long time for sure! The freshness, quality, consistency and flavor of everything we had was rad and super yummy. The perfect balance of chewy, crunchy and aromatic tasting. The level of detail was awesome in the fact that they even lightly brushed the sashimi with fresh lemon wedge which is a new experience for me. Combo'd with the sweet value for money makes this one of my best experiences and I'm totally stoked to return! Rolls are super fat, stuffed with wholesome fresh ingredients and crazy delicious, Takoyaki たこ焼き and Edamame 枝 was perfectly seasoned and not too much overkill. The best and freshest tasting Miso soup 味噌汁 I have ever had. Period. I have to give a special shout out to the staff who are super nice awesome people and made the dining experience incredible. Extremely talented and professional food and service with efficiency. A quaint, cozy and comfortable laid back vibe in a well decorated and authentic eatery. I love this sushi joint and found myself a new local eh! Support local businesses!

Pretty good sushi spot that I would definitely come back to visit. Portions were a bit bigger than expected, but decent quality of sashimi and selections of rolls. The oshi pressed sushi came with a candle!! Pretty cool

Good price and clean, owner is very attentive to your needs. Sushi is good quality with some Korean food choices so you can’t guess it wrong. Yes, the chef is Korean, but don’t be narrow minded as you are in Vancouver, most of Korean sushi place has good performance. The only things that are unattractive would be the item I ordered, most of them are not available. As you can imagine, that is pretty turn off. Anyway, please come out and try if you are in the neighbourhood

I recently had lunch here on a whim. I wasn’t expecting the quality, artistry, and creativity received on my plate. I ordered two fairly “standard” rolls, and what I got was amazing. This chef’s interpretation of sushi classics was awesome. On top of that the service was fast. Highly recommended for sushi lovers.

Sushi is really amazing! Quantity is a lot! Bento Box is also big size! Went with a small baby, they had high chair & also warmed his food for us. Will be visiting again for sure!

After a not so good experience in a previous restaurant we came to Chef Sushi Restaurant. They were extremely busy, but we were greeted very warmly and given seats right away. They gave us the attention enough attention and took our order without rushing. We were amazed when food came, the were big portions for reasonable price and was palatable. We ordered chicken katsu, craxy girl roll without jalapeno , spider roll, karage and takoyaki. We loved it. We are glad we came here and will come again for more

First time here and great experience. Small restaurant with only 4-5 tables for dine in. I reserved and reservation was honoured . Table was ready on arrival ( some restaurants don’t accept reservations). My advise to reserve in case this small restaurant is busy . It counts more on pick up though . Food was great ! Fresh Sushi for sure and the sashimi piece is big. The bento box is one of the best I had tried . We ordered a lot ! They were nice enough and added a complimentary plate of 4 pieces fried Tuna which was great and nice of them . Over all great experience and highly recommended.

Sushi was delicious and super fresh! I was amazed at how kind and attentive the owners and service was. I ordered their deluxe 30pc sushi, salmon aburi, tuna aburi, chef's sushi roll, and bento box E. Very generous portions and we got to try a special bacon roll! Highly recommend their sashimi and bento boxes. So many options to choose from.

Love this cute, local restaurant in downtown Langley. It is reminiscent of the Japanese style. They have friendly staff and a great menu to choose from, I love their various combo options. Their sushi is great, well put together.

This is my go to sushi place in Langley. It’s a fairly small space but there are dividers up between most of the tables. As for the food.. Red dragon roll and tiger roll are my favourites. They are beautifully presented and absolutely delicious, worth every penny! I had the takoyaki once; it was more dough than anything.. also a little mushy. The sweet & spicy chicken from the Korean Special section was all sweet and no spice :( they are very tiny, think chicken bites, and sadly.. soggy. Service is great. They are all so nice here and very attentive... thank you!! Anyway.. If you’re looking for good sushi out in Langley, definitely check this place out.

Very nice place, hidden gem in Langley. Lot of vegetarian roll options available.. my absolute favourite is Yam Yam roll, can’t get enough of those. Staff is very friendly and welcoming. Food is fresh and very fulfilling and prices are genuine. Extensive menu, options available for vegetarians.

Recently, I made a take-out order from this restaurant. Service provided by the waiter was very welcoming and quality of the food was excellent for the price I paid for. Also, they were doing 10% d/c for take-outs. I'll be definitely back to try other food as well. 👍👍

Superb experience! I went to have dinner with my friends for a special occasion. The restaurant was not big, but had a warm atmosphere and we were welcomed by a server and the chefs with the kindest smile. Server was super friendly recommended popular dishes, and the our favorite was Salmon oshi sushi, nigiris and the spicy fried chicken. the foods were served very quickly and was super fresh and tasty with excellent visuals each time with beautiful plating. and the deep fried icecream was amazing too. i absolutely recommend this place and will definitely go back.

I used their online ordering to order takeout - it's super easy to use. The California Roll and Ninja Roll in particular were both stellar! The Ninja roll is a must-order in my opinion. Their oshi/aburi sushi isn't the best I've had, but it's definitely good. It satisfies a craving without having to venture all the way to downtown Vancouver. The portion sizes are generous and quality is good. Chef Sushi is a great addition to Langley's sushi scene. I'd recommend eating here!

We went here last night and thought it was great. The food was good, the prices were also good. The tables are spaced out with high backed booths. The staff wore masks and paid attention to Covid protocols.

Delicious and Fresh

Usually I don’t order sushi 3-4hours before the closing time and this time I was craving sushi I couldn’t decide so I made an order online at 6pm thru Uber eats 3 hours before the closing I wasn’t expecting anything fresh or well organized but I was wrong the rice was fresh not sticky or dry the food was well done with no mistake i even had too much salmon on my midnight roll I got full up with one roll lol I couldn’t eat my seafood salad or my hot combos I love it everything was done correctly and at my taste I will definitely come back but this time to eat in

This place is excellent, the dynamite rolls are huge!! All their food we've tried the last few times everyone loved!! Very generous portions, beautiful presentation and great food quality for the price! I highly suggest the beef dishes,( even better then the chicken) its the best we've had and have eaten at a lot of Japanese restaurants!! Love going here whenever we are in Langley! Lots of parking and easy to find as well! A must try!

The best sushi I have tried in Vancouver so far, I love it. Staff is so friendly and pleasant. We have moved from Langley to Vancouver but I’m okay to drive 40 km to have a good food.

Ordered the House Roll and the Spicy Roll Combo. So good! The House Roll was jam packed with fresh fish and the Spicy sauce had a nice hint of sesame flavour to it. Although the wait was 45 minutes, they clearly informed us of that in advance, the food was ready right on time. They also included a nice little bonus dish which was delicious as well, but I won't ruin the surprise on what it was. Enjoyed it, thanks!

Best sushi hands down! It was so good we ordered it 4 times just this past week. Very unusual for my picky husband and he devoured it. Amazing quality and price. I couldn't believe the size of the rolls. So good. They deserve more than a 5 star rating but its the most i can do. Hats off to you guys! 👏👏

Every item I have ordered has turned out great. When I call to order for pick up they know me by my first name, when I make a large order they throw in a complimentary item sometimes, they go the extra mile. I have ordered from Chef Sushi more than ten times and it has turned out exactly how I wanted or better every time. Great customer service 😊

Looking for somewhere new to go for sushi, that was close by, I read reviews and picked Chef Sushi. I’m so glad we did! From the moment we walked in until we left….excellent. The service and the food was better than any sushi restaurant we’ve been to in a long time. Our server was friendly, polite and helpful, which we don’t always find. A lot of the dishes can be unfamiliar so you want an explanation. Our selections came hot ( if that was the case) , the sashimi was fresh and the rolls were delicious! We will be back and will spread the word to our friends about this excellent neighbourhood gem.

Terribly disappointed. My order was mixed up due to a change in the menu numbers. The sushi I did receive was not edible. There was a time in my youth that I had to be the primary caretaker for terminal mother. The part of this responsibility that I had the most trouble with was helping her with her monthly cycle. The maki combo I received from this restaurant had a powerful smell that brought those times back to my mind. I was probably due for mental health counseling anyway but the experience of ordering from Mr Chef stink box has reinforced that need.

The best Bibimbap of all time. Sushi is also very fresh. Highly recommend this place. If I didn’t live so far away it would be my regular spot.

Service and food are both great. Along with prices too, especially with all the inflations cost that are so high up. Great food, great service. We've been here twice and intend to keep coming! The sushi is fresh, the wasabi is nice and strong, and the soya sauce is homemade. The servers are wonderful too.

First time eating from Chef Sushi. It’s a cold rainy day and we wanted hot take out food. We ordered chicken teriyaki with miso and rice, smoked salmon roll and chicken katsu ramen with tonkotsu broth. Bonus - we received two spring roll. We were very pleased with the flavours and quality of the food. Portion sizes are good. Chef Sushi will definitely become or go to sushi ramen and teriyaki place for Langley!
