Went to First Glance for laser hair removal as I have struggled with dark, thick hair my whole life and wanted a more permanent solution. I really wish I had done my research prior. Almost every appointment for my 6 treatments I had a different staff member, they all told me different things and couldn’t give me clear answers about my progress. I felt as though I wasn’t valued as a customer being younger, and not getting more expensive treatments like some other clients. I went consistently for the package I purchased and saw no results, I even conveyed to the staff members my concerns, but they made me feel as though nothing could be done because of my hair type. I started going to a new clinic, for a quarter of the price, and saw results instantly. I’m not interested in getting a reply saying it depends on hair growth, hormones, and time frames between treatments… if nothing is happening and the client is not happy, for the price I paid there should be more attention and steps taken for the best way to proceed. It was a mixture of seeing no progress and not being treated well that I would never go back or recommend First Glance.

Dr Avi was absolutely wonderful! He answered all my questions and his care was amazing! The whole clinic and everyone in it was amazing!! But Dr Mitchell and his nurse Lisa were absolutely incredible! They put me at ease immediately and talked through every single aspect of the before, during and after! If anyone is looking to feel beautiful in their own skin again, take my advice and go see Dr Ryan Mitchell!!

Great first experience, Bethany was amazing and really understood the look I was wanting to achieve. Very clean and professional environment! Also very friendly front desk staff. I will definitely be coming back, and would recommend first glance for anyone interested in fillers and Botox.

While looking at surgeons and their reviews, I came across First Glance. I went with Dr. Brichacek for my surgery and hands down, he did an amazing job. My deviated septum was a lot more complex than we had thought and I feel like he did the best possible job to improve my breathing. Dr. Brichacek and his team were so nice, treated me with respect and listened to my concerns. I didn’t feel nervous the day of the procedure as I knew that I would be in good hands. I highly recommend them. Getting a consult did take a bit of time but I can see why… him and his team are truly the best!

Each experience I have had at The First Glance has been exceptional. Courteous phone conversations, warm welcoming reception that truly makes you feel at home in the clinic. Thank you to Dr. Bricachek and the wonderful nurse team. From the pre operative nurse to the post operative nurse that got me dressed. I really appreciated every single professional person I had interacted with. You guys made me feel safe and all my concerns were heard. I highly recommend First Glance. Clinic is clean and beautiful. Staff are all friendly, and most of all to Dr. Ryan Mitchell and his team are all awesome. It all started with the consult. As soon as I stepped foot into the clinic I was greeted with friendly faces and kindness. Dr. Brichachek listened to my goals and properly guided me to making the best decision for my expectations with surgery. Leading up to the surgery date, the staff was in contact with me. Ensuring I had all the necessary medical paperwork for my chart, discussing pre-op information and reviewing post-op care prior to surgery. The day of surgery I was anxious and nervous, and the staff reassured me and made me feel comfortable. I spoke with the nurses, surgeon and the anesthetist before going into the OR. Waking up in recovery went smoothly. My nurse was very attentive and pleasant. The next day Dr. Brichachek followed up on how I was doing and reviewed what to expect over the next few days and encouraged me to reach out to him with any concerns. I am looking forward to my results!

The first glance experience is top tier. The medical staff are kind, helpful, extremely intelligent, and proficient at their job. Dr Islur is very thorough and does an excellent job of explaining procedures etc. The medical facility is state of the art and offers a very private and relaxing experience. I would easily recommend this clinic to friends and family.

Dr. Islur is a fantastic Doctor. I had liposuction on my arm then fat transfer into both hands. I loved the results! I love my hands 🙌 My hands looked skeletal before and now they look plump and youthful. Thank you Dr. Islur , nurses and all staff. It was a comfortable, safe and over all positive experience. First Glance is always a great experience. I see Jill for laser hair removal, and have seen Kelsey for Botox. I know that no matter the treatment, I'm always going to receive AAA+ service. First Glance does well in managing expectations and being honest with what treatments are appropriate (or not) and have patient safety and results at top of mind. It's also a beautiful clinic and front staff (Ryan and others) are always so welcoming and kind. Can't wait for my next treatment!

Always a great experience at First Glance from the call to entering the clinic. The professional staff are knowledgeable and approachable. It’s very obvious this clinic holds their staff to a high standard. Kelsey has been my nurse injector and she is a 10/10. She’s talented and her technique is flawlessly executed in a way that you can tell she’s done additional training that makes her an expert. On top of all that she’s just so lovely and makes even a quick 15 minute appointment feel like you were catching up with a friend. She’s always realistic and makes me feel confident every time I leave (even before the botox kicks in).

I have been going to First Glance for over a decade now. First I saw Dr. Anthony Lockwood, then Amanda Lockwood and now I am seeing Lindsay. Lindsay is absolutely AMAZING, and is always able to make me look and feel how I want to. She is friendly and professional, and boy is she good at what she does. The service I receive at the clinic is always 100%. I have never been mistreated, never felt judged, and I have always enjoyed my time there. It's almost like a spa day for me each time I go and I will always continue to have my treatments done at First Glance!

It was my first treatment at First Glance and the ladies at the front desk were so kind and lovely to me from the time I entered to the time I left. I had some trouble with my payment methods and they didn't make me feel embarrassed and did their best to make me feel welcome! The woman who preformed my treatment was very gentle and explained everything to me and made sure I was comfortable the entire time. I can't wait to go back for another treatment!

I had an amazing experience at the First Glance Aesthetic Clinic and Surgery Center. Dr. Birchacek is one of the talented plastic/cosmetic surgeons we have in the city. I find him very calm and collective and explained everything in detail. He is very knowledgeable, attentive, and even go extra mile to get the outcome that is suitable for my facial feature. I'm writing is review after 6 months post surgery. Very happy with the procedure and pre/post care provided to me. Jen was so amazing and incredibly informative during my first visit with First Glance. She made sure I was well informed with todays procedures as well as future treatments we had discussed. After loosing 100lbs and developing a hernia, I was left with a lot of loose skin and was very uncomfortable and insecure about my abdomen. After seeking care at multiple clinics, I was able to connect with Dr. Islur. A fluer de Lis, hernia repair, and muscle tighting was the recommended procedure to address the concerns I had. Initially I was pretty scared of the procedure, but that staff at First Glance were quick to help me feel comfortable and confident in the decision to go through with the FDL tummy tuck. All around the clinic was great! The atmosphere and staff where incredible, and I was very impressed with Dr. Islur's bedside manner and commitment to ensuring I was well informed and confident in our treatment plan.

As a very anxious person, I was quite nervous about my procedure; and even the steps prior to procedure day. I've been seeing Kelsey for two years now. She takes the time to listen to what I need and uses her expertise to come up with a plan to achieve it. The botox i receive looks natural, I have full range of motion in my face and never have a heavy feeling or headache after. I have not been able to achieve this with anyone else. Kelsey is also not afraid to tell you no, or that something will not look good, which is rare. I enjoy our visits and look forward to the next one!

If I could select more stars I would have, to be honest I had no clue what to expect going in for the consultation. The minute I walked in the door for my consultation with Dr.Mitchell, I was met at the front door by wonderful staff that treated me respectfully and took the time to explain the forms I was filling out. Next they took me into a room where they give you wonderful robes to wear and an assistant is there giving you step by step instructions on what will happen in the appointment. Dr.Mitchell came in and examined me and asked me what my lifestyle is like and what I am looking for. He showed me the implants and explained everything on how they heal and what size recommendations he had so I could feel comfortable resuming my daily life. I left the office with all questions answered before I even asked them- for me that’s a challenge because I ask a lot of questions all the time.They also give you a log in so you can see your 3D profile and flip between what size of implants so you can make the right decision for you. A month or so prior to surgery I sat down with Karen who again explained the procedure and all the recovery instructions and what it’s going to feel like every step of the way as I recover at at home post surgery. Again she answered my questions before I even asked them! Surgery day finally arrived thanks to covid delaying it for me! I was met at the door with welcoming faces that explained again each step that was going to happen from here on in. All the nurses and the anesthesiologist came in to say hello and give me a play by play of their job and what they’ll be doing to make me feel comfortable during my stay. Dr.Mitchell came in and explained again the surgery and recovery. Post surgery while in the recovery room Lisa was taking care of me and she was a gem! All in all 100% would recommend First Glance to anyone who is looking to have cosmetic surgery. I can’t say enough about how knowledgeable the staff are and Dr.Mitchell. Each and everyone I met during the process from the first call to post surgery took their time to explain absolutely everything I needed to know. Thanks again First Glance for making my dream a reality and taking care of me every step of the way!

What an amazing experience! Every single person I had help me was a pleasure. I've had a few surgeries in my day, but The First Glance was a great experience. While waiting for my procedure, I was seated in a private room with a TV, an automatic recliner with heat and massage options. Once into the OR the team very quickly gets you prepared and under. In what feels like seconds, you wake into a cozy recovery room with amazing nurses. A++ By far an amazing experience and I'd highly recommend having your cosmetic procedure done here. I’ve been seeing Lindsay for Botox and filler and she’s amazing! The little bit of filler she has put in has made me look more rested and I feel more confident due to that. Hey The First Glance! I wanted to toot your horn!! In Aug/Sept of 2011, I received a breast augmentation from Dr. Lockwood. It has now been 10 years…. they settled wonderfully as Doc said they would…. They fit my body as Doc said they would … they look and feel real as Doc said they would …. And today …. I am 1000% of my decision and the results I have gotten. I have never had any concerns regarding my implants! It was the best $7500 spent!! Kudos to you and your team! I so wanted to get an consultation for selective surgery, but unfortunately the establishment is requiring a PCR Covid test prior to surgery. Just cannot put myself in that position when I do not scientifically believe that the test is accurate. I am at know means putting down anyone's character that works for First Glance, but administration needs to let potential clients know about having to take this evasive test if they decide to go through with selective surgery. Consultations cost $100.00. I so happen had to ask the receptionist if there was any protocol they were following with regards to Covid and if I hadn't asked her , I would have found out after the fact of paying out the $100.00 dollars. I had two laser technicians, both were professional and knowledgeable, and helped me to be comfortable / attentive to my questions or concerns. The area itself is clean and modern, and the staff is very kind and accommodating.

I have a very personal connection with the First Glance, and it goes back to what feels like a decade. Though I don’t openly advertise my insecurities, I feel it’s important to share my experience. At a young age I was riddled with a virus that left me with permanent facial palsy. After corrective surgeries to get function back - the Aesthetics were not a top priority and rightfully so. I nervously called the first glance and first met with Amanda. We tried minimal Botox/ filler as I remained terrified it would trigger similar sensations. Over time and over the years I’ve met your surgeons from all over . One guest doctor went as far as to present my case to a team in Toronto in an effort to optimize my results. I couldn’t believe it! I then met Twyla who took the time in a trial and error process to help reanimate the aspects affected by palsy. I can’t count the times I have cried in front of your team because I was SO incredibly grateful for the time, care and compassion you have graciously given me over the years. As Twyla moved on to pursue her dreams, i had been introduced to Lindsay. This isn’t a business transaction, this is a support system - they become your friends. With such little effort, you give me back my confidence in the most conservative way. I’ve also had great experiences in the recent years with Dr. Mitchell and Dr Patel. While our paths have crossed for very different reasons from above- The sentiment remains 100% the same. The Staff at The First Glance Clinic are outstanding. You feel comfortable as soon as you walk in. I had a Silk Peel Microabrasion treatment with Jill and she is so knowledgeable & professional. We discussed my skin's health, future treatments for my consideration, as well as the best skin care cream suited for my skin. My next appointment is already scheduled.

Dr. Islur exceeded my expectations. If you are looking for someone who will give you realistic expectations you want to go to him. I had a mommy makeover and 6 weeks post op. I have the tiniest tummy tuck line and my breast lift is amazing. Just follow all instructions or recommendations and you will be good. Friendly and professional staff. Amazing experience from start to finish. I’m so happy I chose First glance to perform my mommy makeover. The mom tummy has always been my biggest insecurity after having 3 boys. I wouldn’t be caught dead showing off my stomach anywhere and hid it at all times. No matter how much weight I lost it was still there pooching out.
