A unique cafe experience for my family. We live in a small condo and can’t really have any cats or dogs. It was nice to go to a cafe and grab some coffee while petting cats. Coffee prices are what you’d expect it to be although I was a bit surprised about the price of going into the cat room. They charge $10 per person to visit the cats for 30 mins which is a little steep. I understand that there are cost associated to keeping the cats there such as rent and food but perhaps a family package or a kids rate would help offset this high price. Or maybe if the guests buys X amount of drinks, food or souvenirs they can perhaps visit the cats for free. I dunno? I would come back more/often if it didn’t cost $10 per person. Having that high price just limits me from coming back sooner as it’s a bit steep. Anyways I’m still giving it a 5 star review but I really wish you’d reconsider your prices or maybe do a minimum spend at the cafe that allows access to the cats ($25?) or even a kids rate ($5?)

Oohhhhhh I love cats so much. But I can’t have one, because everyone that I live with is allergic. So instead, I come here! Regal Cat Cafe is the purrfect serotonin-boosting way to spend some time. The kitties are adorable, whether they are playing or snoozing. The cafe side is cozy, clean, and the coffee and cat-themed treats are excellent. I can’t wait to come back!

they take such nice care of the cats! I've been over 7 times not just for the cats, but also for the coffee, snacks, and drinks. the prices are very reasonable and its very clean, they also have a nice shop inside where you can buy cat related merchandise too! the cats love people and I've had several kitties climb on me and try to steal my drinks :,)) they are all so cute.

Such a great place! The entire place was so clean. Sitting and playing on the hard ground with the kitties was uncomfortable, perhaps a couple more chairs? There were a bunch of staff with ladders trying to catch a cat to give it booster shots, while we were in their for our paid time. Maybe close off a booking to customers so all the cats aren’t freaked out/hiding during customer time.

We have three cats at home and we were excited to visit this place. It is very clean, sanitized, and the cats are adorable. You can give them food and cuddle them when they allow you to, cats are friendly and used to people. The place has a small store which theme is...cats of course, the cafeteria place offers a variety of muffins, cupcakes, beverages and a good quality coffee. We loved the 45 minutes time with the cats and the experience was very pleasant. This location respects the masks exception bylaw.

Amazing place for cat lover. The price is 10 dollar for 30 minutes with cats. The time is going really fast. There a lot of toys but cats already know all of them and don't want to play. If you want you can take care of cat or even adopt it.

The Regal Cat Cafe is an incredible experience with amazing & kind staff. I wish my home looked like the kitty room! It's such a beautiful space for the cats. It's the ideal place to spend time with cats to get to know them if you are looking to adopt a cat. Or if you are like myself and can't have cats of your own it's the perfect place to get cat cuddles in and leave feeling happy. Cats, Coffee & Sunshine!

As a cat lover and Cafe lover, I was really eager to come here. With that being said, I was disappointed by my overall experience. I have been to many cafes in Calgary, this one obviously being one of a kind and definitely reflects that in terms of cost per value. With respect to cost of taking care of several cats I’m sure it’s not cheap, but again cost per value. In terms of drinks my partner and I had were mediocre, the size small was pretty small compared to other cafes. We had two sugar cookies with that totalling up to around $19 . We were planning to pay $20 ( $10 per person for 30 mins) to go behind the window and play with the cats. When we got there, we ultimately changed our mind as we felt it’s not worth the money. They are cute without a doubt. Some more affection than others. But cats can be cats! In the sense they do what they want. Sometimes they’re not having it. There were several other people in the room, all wanting to get their money’s worth. Cant blame them, wouldn’t want to pay $10 if most cats were not in the mood to play or didn’t approach you. However, It’s not fair to the cats. People chasing after cats that just wanted to chill out, or play a bit with one person but not be overly stimulated and teased by several more people at the same time. Its important to note while saying this that there is a separate area for them to go. One positive thing to say is you can adopt these cats. I hope every one of these cats gets a loving home.

Super cute cafe! Their desserts are very pretty and the drinks taste amazing as well. There’s a $10 fee for 30 mins of playing with cats and the staff are very helpful if you need any help

What a fantastic place! The staff in the Cat Cafe are the friendliest people ever and treat the cats like they are their own. It was a wonderful experience to visit with the cats and really heartwarming to see how fast they are adopted. The coffee was delicious and they even have art, mugs, and cat accessories for sale in the shop. This is a must-do if you are in Calgary. Shout out the Meow Foundation!

Very nice cat cafe, one of the nicest ones that I've visited. The cats were super cute... obviously. They also had some really delicious looking baked goods and drinks. The staff were nice too. Definitely recommend checking it out, very relaxing and fun to play with the cats

Everything about this place is great. Except for the fact that when you book a room other people might be joining you... And those other people might be young children. And those children may not have any idea how to properly handle cats. And then they might cry for the ENTIRE booking. Maybe we could have a day dedicated to children?

This place is super cute !! You can tell the workers love animals and treat them with the utmost care. The service has always been amazing, and the drinks have been delicious everytime. The last time I went I was on a date and I highly recommend!! Not only are you supporting a great cause (MEOW foundation) you also get to drink coffee and play with kitties!! Definitely will be back again :)

Loved it! The snacks were so good. The best lavender London fog! The kitties were of course to die for and we had such fun. I took my son for a birthday date, he is such an animal lover and he was in heaven. The only downside for me: I wish there was a better group rate for mama's. I have 4 kids so with a family of six and a 30 min visit, the group rate is just too hefty and that's not even getting them a snack. I wish I could take the whole crew.

Adorable cats’ room!! The staff was very friendly and they took the time to introduce us to all the cats & their names (even though we arrived at the last hour’s session, we did not feel rushed). Note that the price for admission does not include any cafe condiments.

My client and I have visited the Regal Cafe several times. This is a fabulous place to hang out for awhile especially if you love cats which we do. Whether you wish to stay in the cafe or, better yet, enjoy some de-stressing time with loving felines, this is the place to visit. All the cats are available for adoption through the Meow Foundation.

Absolutely adorable cats and good service. The workers were super friendly and helpful. You have to book a reservation online, as you aren't allowed to do walk-ins. You will be allowed 30 minutes of playtime with the cats once it's your turn. Do keep in mind that cats sleep for over 16 hours per day, so there's a decent chance most of them might be too sleepy to do anything. The one cat we did get to interact with was very playful, though.

I have been a visitor to the cat café many times and have always had a wonderful experience. This week, I took a young girl who I volunteer with. Her first-time experience was a joy to witness! Definitely very kid-friendly, as long as the kids are supervised and able to remain respectful with the cats. Definitely worth the $10 per person booking fee, seeing as it contributes towards maintaining the lovely facility, as well as to supporting the MEOW Foundation. The staff are very welcoming and helpful as well!

I absolutely loved our experience at Regal Cat Cafe! They had so many friendly and cute kitties to interact with. Had an oat milk London fog and got some great cat toys for my own cat at home. They have a great variety of gluten free baked goods along with some vegan baked goods too which looked delicious.

Great little place to go hangout with cats. We did the cat yoga and it was fantastic! Also like that it's run by the non profit Meow Foundation and all the cats look well cared for and are adoptable.

Super cute place to go for coffee and play with some cats. The best part is that all of the cats are available for adoption! It is a little bit on the pricy side. They also have lots of products you can purchase such as cat toys, keychains, stickers, clothings and more! All the visits with the cats are staggered so that they don’t get overwhelmed with people constantly and that they can keep track of who is in and out.

Huge fan of this place and the good they are trying to do finding these cats new homes. Would say for the Kitty Visits, the experience can very from a 3 star to a 5 star depending on when you go. If you go when the cats are napping/tired or when the room is fully booked you just won't have as good a time. If you find that golden hour though when the cats are active and the room is less full you are gonna have an amazing time. Employees have always been every accommodating and kind, which I have always appreciated! Food is alright, but likely not why you came 😅

Nice place to visit. My wife and I went there because she needed some interaction with pets. The service is really good and the cat place atmosphere is amazing. Totally recommend this place and we'll definitely come back but later on when cats are more active.

Convenient location at the Kensington area. Tasty coffee and treats. Thematic interior. Cats are in a separate room, therefore if you are an allergic person you can enjoy your coffee watching the cats through the glass barrier. Very clean. Personal controls the place to be not overcrowded to make the cats feel comfortable and not stressed out.

The atmosphere of both the cat play area and the coffee shop are sublime. Delicious treats are available, the staff always seem to be in a good mood (I mean who wouldn’t at a kitty café!) and the local merchandise is phenomenal for cat lovers. The cats are the most friendly MEOW Foundation cats, so they’re perfect for play with the public! Definitely recommend visiting, I’ll bet you’ll be back and you may leave with an extra furry friend!

I love this concept of coffee shop! You can spend some time getting to know the lovely kitties (all adoptable!!!) for a small fee( 10$) you can enjoy a nice cup of coffee. I can't wait to go again!

Such an adorable place and a great experience! I got the Matcha Latte which was very tasty. The reason for the 3 star review, however, is due to some confusion and a lack of transparency on the time slots. This afternoon was my first time here - we booked a time slot at 2:30 for a friend and myself. We were told to wait outside the cat room until the group before us finished and exited. By the time they were done it was nearly 2:45. We were not given extra time to compensate for this. So, although we paid for 30 minutes, we only got to stay with the cats for about 15. Overall though, it’s definitely a place to check out, especially if you’re an avid cat lover like myself! Hoping the confusion on the time slots will be fixed next time around.

super great experience! the cats were friendly and adorable, and staff were extremely nice, and their covid protocols like the hand washing station were very cautious. the interior and exterior design of the cafe were very pleasing to the eye, and the cats had a good environment to live in. the staff were very friendly to the cats and their products were cute and affordable as well. i definitely want to go back again :)

My most favorite place in calgary Always a pleasant experience, well kept up place with lots of variety products and sweets with coffee . The style and feel of the place is very user friendly for kids and adults alike . Plus love the fact you can adopt the kitties and still have good snuggles times with them as well . ❤️ Yes $10 per person and children but honeslty it's worth it and they need to make money in order for the kitties to get all the care they need. They also include extra activities like painting classes with the cats and cat yoga and many more Events Don't forget their online store is well established to help support the cats and learn facts with cute products. I highly recommend a visit ( I've been here 6 times ).

I've been to the Cat Cafe many times, and I've always walked out at the end of my visit smiling. The aesthetic of the cafe is adorable, the staff are wonderful and friendly, and the cats are always so precious. This is such a calming and fun place to spend part of your day at, the staff are so open to talking to you about the cats, as well as the cats themselves are adorable and so sweet! Definitely stop by the Regal Cat Cafe if you get the chance, you won't regret it!
