When I'm visiting Ottawa I always make time to stop in here. Great vintage finds. I think the prices are very reasonable! If items are not priced, you can make an offer. A social enterprise that offers a food cupboard, hot meals and other essentials to support basic needs to individuals in the community. Consider a donation with your purchase! Also two cuddly and very friendly cats welcome you to the store!

A "charity" that refuses to accept graciously offered food for the marginalized communities in Ottawa based off of their own narrow political ideologies. Shame, should things continue under our nation's current government, there will be a lot more people in need of services such as the ones Highjinx provides and a lot less people who are willing and able to provide assistance. Thank you for outing yourselves as divisive ideologues who would rather make a misguided political stance rather than help provide food and support for the very marginalized folks they purport to be supporting

I remember high jinx from years ago when I lived a few doors down from them on Somerset. They have a great vision but like pretty much all thrift stores these days, the prices are just insane. We are in the era of the Thrift Grift.

To do a lot of good for the community, but I went in to purchase a old poster and ended up buying a few other items and was made to feel very unwelcome. Not sure what the problem was, but it was an uncomfortable experience. It's a shame because I love vintage items.

An amazing shop in Ottawa! They are a social enterprise that support people in need in this community. If you are in Ottawa and ever get a chance to support them, it is well worth the effort.
