Cinémathèque
québécoise
provides
excellent
film
programming,
most
of
which
could
be
characterized
as
art
house,
international,
and
classics.
The
screen
is
not
huge,
but
fairly
big.
The
seats
are
comfortable,
but
they
are
not
on
a
terribly
steep
incline,
so
you
have
to
pick
your
seat
based
on
who's
in
front
of
you
to
avoid
having
your
view
of
the
screen
blocked.
This
is
very
important
since
many
of
the
films
shown
here
are
subtitled
and
if
you
are
trying
to
look
over
the
top
of
somebody's
head,
you
might
not
be
able
to
see
the
subtitles.
And
since
many
of
the
films
are
in
foreign
languages,
one
does
have
to
pay
attention
to
whether
the
subtitles
will
be
in
French
of
English
if
you
only
understand
one
of
those
languages.
There
are
no
snacks
or
food
allowed
in,
but
since
this
doesn't
bother
me.
Cinémathèque
québécoise's
programming
is
always
worth
keeping
an
eye
on.
This
is
a
nice
place
for
lovers
of
the
cinematic
artform.
I
am
always
happy
to
come
here.
