Experience varies greatly depending on the type of film you go see. The clientele is mostly Woke ( they even have an hilarious disclaimer about the film’s possible “transgressions”. I swear I’m not joking and it usually gets a few giggles). Do NOT go see a genre film there. Imagine a room full of comicon dorks on pot giggling and laughing every 10 sec. BTW, films are made to be enjoyed with popcorn. The lack of concession is a downer too.

Latin organizations present films in this Cinema. Is really small, cold, but good to enjoy Latin movies (specify dates). I went on August for the Dominican Film "Veneno". In Spanish with subtitles in English. Very good Dominican Movie by the Unidos Por Nuestro Pais Organization.

A perfect location for filmmakers to meet and greet as well as socializing and planning future projects it’s full of motivational quotes from films around the world its an art place if you are dying to be in a place to be inspired visit this location. There is less parking so you need to take a bus and walk there.

Cinémathèque québécoise provides excellent film programming, most of which could be characterized as art house, international, and classics. The screen is not huge, but fairly big. The seats are comfortable, but they are not on a terribly steep incline, so you have to pick your seat based on who's in front of you to avoid having your view of the screen blocked. This is very important since many of the films shown here are subtitled and if you are trying to look over the top of somebody's head, you might not be able to see the subtitles. And since many of the films are in foreign languages, one does have to pay attention to whether the subtitles will be in French of English if you only understand one of those languages. There are no snacks or food allowed in, but since this doesn't bother me. Cinémathèque québécoise's programming is always worth keeping an eye on. This is a nice place for lovers of the cinematic artform. I am always happy to come here.

I was there during the documentary festival. Very nice venue with smaller rooms and a cool auditorium-like terrace on the second floor where you can chill or watch short scenes from old movies on a screen.

A great location dedicated to cinema, with friendly staff and comfy seats. The David Lynch retrospective was particularly exquisite.

Went to go see demon slayer with my friends, and it was pretty cool, I didn't buy any snacks so I can't say anything about those, but the place is clean, there's arcades and other games as well.

It's a small theater but if you're going there it's for special features that you wouldn't get anywhere else.

This is a lovely location. In my perspective, the screens are too small. However, the sound quality is excellent.

I have been to this cinema many times; great choice of movies. The problem is this is not like a regular movie theatre; so less show times and small theatres, so you can walk in but not find tickets, like it happened yesterday, but today I got in to see Marriage Story, excellent movie. Good service.

Best theatre in town. Make sure you buy tickets well in advance, especially for the less obscure/more popular films. The annual pass is definitely worth getting if you're into arthouse, cult or independent cinema. Cool exhibitions in the lobby area too.
