I mean you must be wondering why there are duplicate photos of the same dish (Maccheroni bolognese, parmigiano - note, only on the takeout menu). They arent duplicates - they are all separate occasions where I could not bear to order anything else. Honorable mentions are the - Arancini, pleurotes, asiago - crunchy and cheesey yumminess. Lovely patio - havent had the pleasure to be able to secure a reservation which opens up at 9am every morning. Also - cant order my favorite dish from the patio also - so have been eating this fine Italian fare at the park with the greatest pleasure.

This place was soooooo good. I was skeptical because I had just arrived from Italy and doubted the food would be as good. Boy was I surprised. The Negroni sbagliato was done to perfection, the meat was amazing, the pasta was fabulous, the veal ragú was delicious and the stracciatella with tomatoes and basil was a dream. I would definitely come back here, no wonder this place has such amazing reviews. The hostess was incredibly nice and she even spoke some Spanish with us! Try this place out for a romantic dinner, you will blow your partner's socks off!

Everything here was incredible. We sat at the bar, and honestly it was the best spot in my opinion! The server recommended an excellent wine with what we ordered for dinner. She also made delicious cocktails. As mentioned in the previous reviews, it’s not on the cheap side. But SO worth it! The service was impeccable, and the food was out of this world. I would highly recommend this place!

Great restaurant! Service was very attentive, friendly and efficient. The food was of high quality and absolutely delicious from start to finish. Both pasta dishes we had were so good and not at all oily or salty as opposed to many other restaurants. To my surprise the calamari was my favourite dish of the night! They were fresh, perfectly cooked and the tomato sauce that came with it just really tied the whole dish together. Cocktails were also impressive and our waitress made great wine recommendations. Overall a great experience and worth the splurge. Would definitely recommend.

The arancinis were good, maybe a tiny bit too dry. There was cheese in the middle, I was pleasantly surprised! However, I sadly wouldn’t pay 12$ for 3 arancinis. The pasta was very good! In the maccheroni bolognese, you could really taste alcohol, so I don't recommend if you don't enjoy the taste of alcohol. The casarecce was with “saucisse, vin blanc, tomates cerises, olives noires, piment oiseau, padano”. I don’t enjoy olive so I didn’t taste it but my boyfriend told me that it was pretty good! The bombolones were super good! The mix of the acidity from the rhubarb and the sugary pastry cream was on point! It was light and airy, perfect for a summer dessert. However, it was hard to eat because the filling was spreading very easily. The dough was perfectly airy and sugary! Overall, a very good restaurant!!

This is a really good restaurant, one of the best in Montreal for the price, quality of food and service. The portion of food is generous too. I highly recommend !

It's OK. Food is not bad, but not enough to justify the price you pay. (I'm not from Montréal, so this is based on my experience from Italian restaurants in many countries within the same price) They reuse the same sauces in different dishes, so the flavours are kind of repeated. I feel like for a restaurant in this price range, they could make a bit more effort for the sauces. For this reason, I will not go back until the menu is changed. My favourite dishes were the gnocchi (7/10) and the pistachio gelato. I feel a bit bad giving this rating because I LOVE their pizza place. Service is good.

We weren’t able to make reservations on time for our short trip to Montreal, but decided to shoot our shot anyway for a spot at the bar. Got there 10 min after opening and were promptly seated! The cocktails (Zoffa and Gemma) were marvelous, and the bartender is super attentive. I’ll be dreaming of the fried fish and artichoke. The bucatini with guanciale was delicious, as was the halibut. We had the olive oil cake to finish with some Amaro and happily concluded that this is the best meal we had in Montreal. Safe to say, we’ll be back!

The food was absolutely incredible, especially the appetizer called Stracciatella de bufflonne that came with rabioles, radis, and endive. 😋Seriously, it was so delicious that it made my taste buds dance! The olive oil cake was good too! The atmosphere of the restaurant was also really chill and cozy, making it a great spot for a date night or just a casual dinner out. I loved the vibe of the place and it really added to the overall experience. If you're looking for amazing Italian food and a chill atmosphere, this is definitely the spot for you. Don't miss out on the Stracciatella de bufflonne - it's a must-try dish!👌🏼

Just amazing. You do have to reserve in advance (for Saturdays) as this place is always full. Small neighbourhood restaurant, very cozy, as if you just entered someone's home. Everything we ordered was delicious. The service is top notch, our waiter took the time to explain every single plate. We were 2, shared an appetizer, had each our own entrée and main course. If you are a desert person, skip the appetizer as we were completely full (would have loved to try their squash sorbet). As for pricing, I found it very fair for the quantity and quality of food/wine, and for the overall experience. Will definitely go back.

Amazing restaurant. Service was 10/10 something that you don't see often these days... Coctail menu is innovative and delicious and they have quite an extensive wine list. Some of our favourite dishes were the artichokes and carpacio! Menu changes with the season but I'm guessing it will always deliver. Bon appetite!

Delicious fresh pasta. The creations were also unique. One of our favourites was the Scandinavian gazpacho.

A good restaurant, went with a friend and we shared 4 dishes (the menu is about 12 items), all were good but there wasn't a plate that we felt was outstanding hence the 4 star.

Beautiful restaurant with amazing fresh pasta and other Italian delights. The restaurant is super clean and has nice big windows. Their drink list is awesome, with tons of rotating food options. Pasta was outstanding, arancini was very good, and everything was beautifully presented.

We were thoroughly impressed by the exceptional service and delectable food at Moccione. However, we did encounter a minor inconvenience as the music was a tad too loud, making it difficult to carry on a conversation. Nevertheless, our dining experience was elevated by the outstanding dishes that were presented to us. One particular standout was the lobster pasta, which quickly became my favorite. The sauce was infused with the rich and distinctive flavors of lobster bisque, creating a truly indulgent experience. Additionally, the scallops crudo provided a refreshing and light option that perfectly balanced the meal. Lastly, the pistachio ice cream was a delightful treat that captured the essence of the nut itself, leaving a lasting impression on our palates. Overall, despite the slight disruption caused by the loud music, the superb service and outstanding culinary offerings made our visit truly memorable

The price isn’t on the cheap side but I’m glad I tried it! Went for a dinner on father’s day and everything was great + service was also very good. They work as a team, first time seeing that tbh. Favorite was the steak (SO GOOD) and casarecce w/ lobster but all was very good. Pasta is fresh and meat seasoning is good too. Definitely recommend this restaurant

I'm not sure why this place doesn't have more reviews. If you're planning on taking a trip to Montreal make a reservation at Moccione. This place is ah-maz-ing. Wine list is extensive, but by the glass is very small. My advice is to get a bottle even though it's a bit more pricey. It will make more sense than just 2 glasses of wine. We ordered the burrata, the veal ragu, gnocchi, and cannolis of course. As a former cannoli hater, Moccione has officially proved me wrong! Best cannoli out there. Hands down. Better than the ones I've had in Italy. The burrata is creamy, the heirloom grape tomatoes are crisp, along with the fresh basil. The veal ragu is WOW. Not overpowering, but the veal is so tender it melts in your mouth. The gnocchi for being cream based is not heavy at all, so don't let the cream base stop you from ordering it. 100% will be back next time I'm in town.

Had a great time at Moccione with my girlfriend!…Our first and most definitely not our last time coming here…the food was delicious…the service was excellent “big thank you to Lori who was very kind”…I highly recommend this place…you’ll love it!

We ordered 4 take-out pasta meals, all of them were prepared quickly and ready for pickup in no time. Food was hot, everyone liked their plate. Bolognese sauce is 10/10. Must try. Looking forward to order again.

It’s a small restaurant, but the interior is very Aesthetic. The food was delicious and full of flavours . I would highly recommend the Boeuf Carpacci, Pieuvre grillée and Maccheroni.

Food is amazing! Grilled octopus melts in your mouth. Oysters freshly made with lots of garnish accompanied very well. Service is impeccable. Cocktails are refreshing and using high quality spirit. Going back there again already.

Great food great service! Ambiance is amazing. Good selections of wine as well, but I didn’t give 5 stars because of the cocktails. I had 2 and it was a disappointing watery dirty martini and a spicy margarita not that spicy or strong. I would definitely go back for food with family and friends with nice bottles of wine.

This place… This place is worth the wait. Everything about it was pretty close to perfect. The cocktails=creative and delicious. The starters=so so so good. (We had the trout tar tar.) And the pasta. Oh my the pasta. Really. Est here. It’s not cheap, but it’s worth every dollar. (I’m sorry I don’t have pictures. We were just too into the moment.) Oh! And extra shout out to the staff. Talk about detail oriented, friendly, knowledgeable. Y’all are amazing.

Moccione is easily one of the best Italian restaurants in the city!! The dishes are flavourful, authentic and beautiful. Luca, the chef is on the ground, serving plates, greeting clients, helping his staff when he can, like a true Italian who loves to see his guests happy when they’re eating. RUN DON’T WALK TO THIS PLACE!!! Their arancini are fantastic - hot, gooey and drenched in a delicious tomato sauce. Their pasta is HEAVENLY. You won’t regret it !!

The food was absolutely delicious and full of flavours. Every plate was a surprise and we tasted flavours we hadn't before. The service was also top-notch. Our waitress was really kind and attentive. Highly recommended.

Food is incredible. Every dish is a delight. Even today, I just grabbed some eggplant dip and a focaccia and it happened to be the best lunch of 2021.
