Awesome experience at Oly Anger Tattoo. They fit us in on labour day weekend which was so great! We received matching tattoos while there and felt comfortable the entire time. Everyone from the super friendly lady in the front, to our artist were amazing! If we lived here we would go back! Highly recommend!

A truly excellent experience. This was my first and, at 60+, likely only tattoo, so was both excited and apprehensive. The artist, Karl, went above and beyond both to find a way to implement my design, and to work after hours to complete the work. It was of course painful but Karl was very engaging and seemed to have a sixth sense for when I might need a little break. I hadn't known what it was realistic to expect but when Karl was done my design was there on my chest, if anything better than I had thought possible.

Extremely friendly staff willing to answer any questions. I went on a beautiful Saturday around noon. Where they are located they get quite a bit of foot traffic infront of the shop providing plenty of walk-in clients and they were happy to serve as many as they could while maintaining a great and friendly service... Will definitely be going there again if I'm in the market for more ink :)

Best place in Montreal to get art imprinted on your body. Fantastic location and fantastic vibe while being tattooed. I opted to extend my Polynesian Tattoo which I got from Hawaii and the guest artist they had invited to Olyanger was simply amazing. Would highly recommend going there and I will definitely go back to start my other projects.

The place is really nice and clean and the staff is very friendly. I had the chance to work with Hyebin and she did an amazing job with my fine line floral vine tattoo. She was super patient and explained the process well, she also got the design exactly as I wanted it. Definitely recommend to visit. I'd appreciate if they tell in advance that its all cash as not many people carry that sort of money.

My wife and I dropped in without an appointment and were able to be accommodated. We got matching tattoos, celebrating her birthday. Julien was very pleasant, professional and did an excellent job. The only complaint we had, was after. The price was discussed and fair. However, they didn't tell us until after that it was cash only. That should have been explained before hand. Luckily it wasn't an issue for us, but I can see it causing problems.

I have to say when I left Oly Anger the first time. I booked a second appointment to start a sleeve lol. Simon Talbot specializes in picture realism my kind of style. Clean work, very detailed, perfectionist, takes his time. Listens to what you want, shows you different pictures but stays on the concept of what you want. Honest and a real cool dude easy to get along with. He answers you back very quickly. Never had an issue, honestly you can't ask for anyone better. Check him out I promise you will not be sorry. I had a large detailed tattoo done by Bihwa. Her skills are amazing, she's very careful and her work is very meticulous. Communication prior to the appointment was quick and helpful. The final result is far beyond what I was hoping for! Nearly two weeks later, the tattoo is perfectly healed. The salon is very clean and spacious and everyone is friendly. Overall I highly recommend Oly Anger Tattoo!

Walked-in while on vacation in Montreal with my husband. We got silly matching banana tattoos which we’re still laughing about. All the staff were professional and super personable. The studio was clean and neat. Karl was a great artist to work with. Very friendly and did excellent work. Tattoo is healing well. Would definitely recommend!

I went in for a random flash tattoo and everyone was super nice. All of the designs were amazing and it was a struggle to choose which design. My boyfriend, who has no tattoos, was tempted to get one too (which is saying A LOT!). After choosing one, I was able to be booked for the same day (which was great since I was visiting and leaving the next day). The studio was super clean and had a great atmosphere. James was super kind and made sure the stencil was perfect before starting. I will 100% visit again when in Montreal.

Saw Marc during a guest visit in Toronto and he is absolutely amazing. He did a custom piece for me of my husband's portait and it is beautiful! Very friendly guy and great at what he does. Even after finishing up he noticed a small spot he wanted to touch up, just to really perfect it. He even messaged me to follow up on the tattoo weeks later. I can really appreciate him as an artist. 😊

We had a good experience here (4 of us got tattoos ) - so much so that my daughter has booked another one in July and is taking me as her travel buddy . She has a few tats and really liked this place:) Excited for another Montreal adventure . Parking is tough in Port area so go carless if you can. Staff were professional and friendly and skilled. Standard pricing minimums and size minimums .

I came in for a walk in with my boyfriend and the entire experience was very professional and seamless. The lady at the front desk (Natalie I think?) was absolutely amazing and made sure to give us all the info right off the bat and even offered to take a picture for us after our tattoos were done. Could not recommend this shop enough! 7 of us stopped in while on a bachelorette weekend and were able to get matching tattoos. The staff were super accommodating, helpful, and patient with us all. They had our fine line design prepped and ready in no time, and we were in and out in 45 minutes. We LOVE our tattoos and would definitely come back if we are ever back in the area. Cannot recommend this place enough. Carl was our artist and helped myself, mom and two sisters hone in our designs and create crisp, clean pieces. We are all very different personalities and he somehow adapted to make each one of us feel confident and comfortable. Will be going back next time we are in Montreal.

What can I say...absolutely amazing place and the professionalism of the people working their is outstanding. I had Darick do my tattoo and calling him a professional artist is exactly how to describe him. I had an absolutely wonderful experience at Oly Anger Tattoo. I stopped by for a walk in with my girlfriend and much to my surprise they were able to accommodate both of us nearly right away. Karl ended up tattooing me and he did a fantastic job on my tattoo. All of the staff and artists are extremely personable and professional, without a doubt one of my best tattoo experiences to date. I can't wait to come back when I'm in Montreal!!

I had a back piece done by Lee. He was amazing from begining to end. Easy communications, great advice and open to any suggestions once your design is ready. His technique was great, he goes very gently so I wasn’t in too much pain regardless of the amount of shading. He was very welcoming, made me feel very comfortable and was very attentive to my needs.The final work truly exceeded my initial expections. Overall, other than Lee himself, this place has a great staff too. Everyone is very respectful and the place is incredibly clean. I highly recommend :)

I was a walking with two of my other buddies. They accommodated us on the spot. Toto did my tattoo. He took his time and it’s excellently done. I have several tattoos and this is definitely one of my better ones. Shop was clean. Everybody was professional. Great experience! I’ll for sure stop by when I’m back in Montreal!

Editing my review. The issue with artist's handling of their scheduling had nothing to do with the studio itself and has since been resolved (thanks to the studio's intervention, I am guessing). Said artist had since moved on so I do not feel leaving my initial review would have been fair. From their side, the studio were nothing but professional and very courteous. I also really enjoyed the dark and intimate decor, with a hint of luxurious. Each artist works in a separate room instead of one big room with no privacy. I would not hesitate to come back if what I was looking for is a match with any of their artists' style.

Gabriella is an amazing artist. I travelled from Vancouver to see her. I combined this tattoo trip with a family getaway. Montreal and my experience with Gabriella and the Oly Anger team was awesome. The team was friendly and created a comfortable atmosphere for my 2 days (14+ hours) spent getting my tattoos. The #1 best part of the 2 days at Oly Anger was Gabriella. I can't say enough positive stuff about her...She is talented, skilled, has great bed-side manner, and is friendly and a great conversationalist. There is no requirement to engage in conversation but I was talkative and she made the time go by well. I recommend Oly Anger and specifically I recommend Gabriella. I will be visiting again in the future to see Gabriella and continue my tattoo journey with her.

Visiting Montreal from LA in celebration for my 30th birthday! Walked into a cool tattoo shop right by Old Port Montréal. My friend and I were kindly greeted as I continued to ask if walk ins were welcome. I had my tattoo idea all ready to go. My tattoo artist Carl, was very friendly and easy to talk to. In and out within an hour. Carl went the extra mile to make sure the tattoo was aligned with what I wanted. Friendly service and good prices! 10 out of 10 recommend!!

I had a tattoo appointment with Lee, a guest artist from South Korea at 11 am which is also the studio’s opening time. When I arrived, I was welcomed by one of the staff members and even offered a drink. The people there were friendly and spoke both French and English. My tattoo took approximately 6 hours to do and we took breaks every 30-40 minutes. Lee does incredibly detailed work and I absolutely recommend you check out his work @studio290.

Absolutely fantastic experience. My family was visiting Montreal for a few days, and had a very small window to get my desired "travel tattoo" I booked directly with Thierry (Friendly Monsxer), and he was incredibly flexible, responsive, helpful, and generous with his time. He powered through a 6+ hour session in order to do line work, shading, and color, all in one sitting. Facilities are clean and professional, many artists have personal spaces to work. Front desk and all other artists I met were funny, nice, intelligent and positive. I would not hesitate to come back the next time I'm in town.

It’s a cool shop with good vibes. Darren is a great artist. I went in with an idea so we sat down and he put together a mock up on a photo of my arm with his iPad. He suggested it kind of looked out of place with what I already had, and after seeing it I totally agreed. We went through some pictures online to get some ideas and what he came up with was super sick. I was excited to get it done in the lead up to the appointment. It was a long session but it was a chill environment so I didn’t mind at all. Darren is very talented and knocked it out of the park. Every time I look at it in the mirror I’m stoked! Thanks Darren for the great tattoo, and thanks to the rest of the staff for making the whole experience great as well!

I went to Montreal for a bachelorette and we decided to get tattoos. We stumbled across Oly Anger Tattoo and it started off quite lovely. The people who welcomed us were very pleasant. My friend, who is the one getting married and myself got Wanda as our tattoo artist. I was pretty stoked at first because her style was pretty sweet. Once the tattoo had started that's when things changed. She told me to stop talking, and kept saying how hard my tattoo was to do? At the end she left ink all over me, didn't even clean it up.. and she also stained my shirt and neglected to apologize for any of that. When she did my friends it was lop sided and again didn't give the best customer satisfaction. Very disappointed in the experience we had especially for the price of the tattoos.

I was visiting Montréal for the first time and wanted a tiny tattoo as a memory. I was able to walk in and get what I wanted without any problems. The front desk was very professional and the electronic waiver was easy and convenient. I met with my artist, he drew up what I wanted while I waited, and then he came and got me and we walked back to his area. Super nice guy. Very friendly staff. I’m hoping to go again next summer!

Aiden did an amazing job designing and matching my previous tattoo that this design added to. His line work matched my previous work exactly like they were done by the same person. his coloring and shading of my piece came out beautifully. I couldn't be happier with my new ink.

Worst experience ever with Steph Guillotine tattoo artist. She was so impatient with me, drawing my stencil literally ten minutes before my appointment. When I expressed that I didn’t like the stencil, she was rude and sighing and had no customer service manners. Then she just traced the design of another tattoo artist that I used as inspiration, and she refused to understand that I wanted something original. I guess she can’t draw? She was brute with me during the tattoo and in a hurry to finish, and that had me scared because it’s my body! And then she said she only takes cash, like okay? Fraud? Anyway, don’t get tatted here, or if you want to come here, just don’t get tatted by Steph!

The staff were amazing. Jamie did an amazing job on my little mermaid. For a spur of the moment tattoo I am beyond happy. Favourite ink experience in the 12 years I’ve been getting tattoos!

My friend and I were interested in getting flash pieces so we checked out a few shops in the area. OA Tattoo was the friendliest shop with the largest collection of flash we came across. Flash were available in many styles and themes. They had walk-ins available and did their best to decrease the wait time as much as possible. Our artist James was friendly, cleanly, and professional. He was happy to modify our chosen flash to our liking.

I had a great experience getting my tattoo here. I had a clear vision of what I wanted and choose Oly Anger Tattoo for the quality of the artist's work. I was contacted immediately, and had a great back and forth. Design decisions, size, color, and possible directions were well received. Artist was on time for the appointment. I was comfortable the full length of getting my tattoo. A professional and inviting experience. Will use again in the future.

Incredibly kind people who even stayed open over hours to finish my walk in tattoo. We had drawn our own tattoos and our artist stayed completely faithful to our designs. Our artist Julian was very versatile and kind. Overall wonderful experience :)

I had a walk-in appointment with Alfio. He was very frank with me and my ideas regarding the placement and proportions of my tattoo, talking me out of my original idea for the placement. My design was a symmetrical, fine line tattoo, which Alfio executed perfectly. The rest of the Oly Anger staff was extremely welcoming. I could not have asked for a better experience.
