Just a few minute walking distance from the parking lot. The sound of the water flowing is very relaxing. Such a nice place to visit.

I've been to the Bragg Creek and Kananaskis area a multitude of times over the years and I never realized this place even existed! It's pretty - it has some sun, some shade, lots of trees, some wildflowers, plenty of parking and the falls themselves. The falls were much smaller than I expected but worth the visit nevertheless. This is nothing like Bow Falls or Takakkaw Falls, but it's also quieter and has way less vehicular and pedestrian traffic! The falls have decreased in size thanks to the big flood last decade. In addition to the pathway, the dry creek bed was also available to walk on. The trail isn't paved but it wasn't treacherous either. Perfect for half day getaway from the city and a walk in the woods. Remember to get your Kananaskis pass to avoid getting ticketed.

Alberta is a beautiful province with many attractive falls and lakes and Elbow falls is one of them. It is a very beautiful fall. Whether it’s winters or it’s summers this place/fall is always in my To Visit List. Love it’s scenic view. A Very tranquil and peaceful place.

This place is beautiful and peaceful. There's a decent walking trail that starts on a paved path and steps along the river, then moves up through the trees. Not too long, but moderate difficulty - for people with mobility/joint issues. We went on a weekday afternoon, not too crowded then. Not a heck ton of water left as compared to where the water level used to be, don't expect Niagara Falls.

Beautiful Place, gorgeous water falls, mountains surrounding, amazing place for the whole family. Only 45 min away from Calgary. Had a blast and will definitely go back. Bathrooms were maintained well and clean. Ample parking and great ♿️ parking as well for those who need it.

Love this place. So beautiful and peaceful. Easy to get to as well. Good parking, easy hike. The scenery is right off the parking lot so if you're going for a photo op, you don't need to trek far at all.

Just a beautiful place to take the family for a very easy walk. Has a gorgeous waterfall and a path with rails for those who need it. The views are stunning. Would highly highly recommend it. Again this is a very easy trail walk. Lots of parking. Bathrooms located by parking lot. Dog friendly as long as they are on a leash. U can picnic here but no picnic tables or firepits so bring ur own things to cook and sit on. There is some construction right now near the exit into the falls but its not a long wait. Today we saw lots of cows on the road and yes one thought he would tempt fate today and throw himself infront of our car. So keep ur eyes peeled!! And dont forget ur kananaskis day passes everyone!!!!

Gorgeous place! The weather was a little chilly and the day started off cloudy/rainy so it was really not too busy! There were a couple park rangers who were very friendly and helpful! The pathway around the falls seemed well cared for and all the barriers were in perfect condition. I definitely recommend stopping by for the view! There's also a pretty cool trail along the river that looked amazing but it was a little to dangerous to bring a baby on so we didn't do it.

Beautiful area to walk, hike, breathe...You just have to have the pass so you don't get a ticket.

Make sure to get your car pass for the area beforehand or buy at the entrance. View was beautiful and worth the trip. Weather was amazing, cozy breeze, clear blue water, pretty waterfall, great mountain background

This area is such a treasure to see... Lots going on here - from filming dance routines with the falls in the background to several people jumping into the water and over the falls... The backdrop is of course just as beautiful with towering mountains and long stretches of the river. πŸ₯°

It’s a magnificent place to visit at this falls. The panoramic views from the falls are stunning and breath taking. The water is pretty clean and one can see the rocks underneath clearly. There is ample parking space available. One of the best places to spend time and relax at Kananskies Conservation area with beautiful views.

40 min from Calgary, very convenient. Make sure to get a pass online or on the way, 15 dollar per day. Very picturesque and very beautiful place.

It was nice going to Elbow falls and not a lot of people. You can enjoy the view and nature. The falls was pretty and how the color change. I will definitely go back again.

Lovely fall without having to hike or walk but super crowded on weekends. Accessible during winters too.

Easy trail to view the falls, stroller friendly and handicap accessible if you go out and back. If you want to loop, there are stairs. You can walk right down to the Elbow river just before the falls. Trailhead is all the way at the end of the parking lot. Plenty of parking available on a weekday. Restrooms were decent.

Great place to go for A quick drive in the country it's not too far from Calgary has lots of hiking Trails. Can get pretty busy in the summer and you have to park on the road and walk in. Great views nice and quiet can't complain.

I have visited this spot a few times. To see the falls in their entirety (and safely), I recommend coming in summer. Although, the ice formations and such are quite beautiful in winter... Most of the board walk trail and such is closed due to ice. In this case, views are quite limited for the less adventurous or less mobile person.

This is a hidden gem and a beautiful place to visit. You can do some hiking, there’s trails, and in the summer time, you can swim as well. The falls is so beautiful. You can also do a picnic there and have a fire pit, just bring firewood.

Very close park area to the city of Calgary. Amazing hiking area to forage, take photos, and to visit if you just want to get away from the city. Honestly, this was my first time visiting this place, and I was satisfied, and amazed with the area. I have been looking for places like these on my numerous travels, and am thankful for finally experiencing this place. FREE TO ENTER. PLEASE KEEP AREA CLEAN.

Gorgeous water fall with natural surroundings. Just one hour drive from the Calgary. Make sure to purchase the Kananaskis Conservation Pass prior to your visit else you may get ticket. If you decide to visit this place on weekends , then to get a parking spot within the parking lot is quite difficult. You will require to park your car on road. Good place for family trip. Many people climbing over the rails for photo opps. That is very dangerous and cause disaster. There are rails put in a place for a reason. Climbing over the rails and standing on the edge of the ledge for photo opps can be cost critical injury or even a life.

Good flow this time of year (late June). Nice walkways around the falls to various view points and a few bathrooms. A good 10 min rest break if driving somewhere nearby.

Incredible fall day at Elbow Falls. It's been 36 years since I've viewed them last since I was out of province. They're even more beautiful than how I remember them.

It's really beautiful at Elbow Falls. It can get really crowded though, but it's definitely worth the stop.

What a nice park! The short walk to see the falls is along the Elbow river. Definitely a day trip worth taking.
