I
started
my
boxing
journey
as
a
kid
from
a
small
town.
Got
scouted
by
Socrates
in
my
early
20's
growing
up
in
the
city,
and
I've
been
boxing
under
Kombat
Arts
for
very
many
years
now.
Everyone
will
have
their
own
experience
and
journey
when
it
comes
to
any
sports
team
or
club.
Same
goes
for
the
work
place,
or
Uber
services.
My
experience
with
boxing
in
general
had
it's
ups
and
downs.
But
my
coach
Socrates,
was
my
father
figure.
He
watched
me
grow
into
the
man
that
I
have
become,
and
Kombat
Arts
was
my
home
away
from
home
that
kept
me
out
of
trouble.
I
am
blessed
to
still
have
both
my
coach,
and
club.
I
respectfully
disagree
with
those
that
say
this
place
is
not
blue
friendly.
As
a
former
federal
peace
officer
and
currently
certified
OFM/NFPA
Firefighter,
I
can
vouch
that
Kombat
has
been
very
supportive
of
all
first
responders
(myself
included).
No
matter
which
line
of
colour
you
represent.
Non-biased,
there
are
some
other
good/decent
boxing
clubs
out
there.
It
all
depends
on
what
you're
looking
for,
and
what
you
want
to
get
out
of
it
as
a
boxer.
The
boxing
community
now
days
is
a
very
big
family,
in
a
very
small
world.
So
I've
done
my
due
diligence
to
keep
a
sharp
image
with
them
all.
Nobody
is
perfect
and
it
genuinely
makes
me
upset
to
know
that
some
have
had
a
bad
customer
experience
at
Kombat.
However
to
those
who
have,
I
whole
heartedly
wish
you
find
your
path
and
begin
your
journey
at
the
club
that
is
right
for
you.
I
am
extremely
proud
to
be
part
of
the
Kombat
family,
and
I
wouldn't
want
to
go
anywhere
else.
