This review is for Le Jardin…..soft opening. I thought Mayla was untouchable……but Le Jardin is my new favorite. The best dining experience on all accounts in kingston! The food is exquisite quality with every bite. The atmosphere is exotic but cozy. The service is personalized and special. Can’t wait to go back!!

The best dining experience my wife and I have had in quite some time. The food was amazing, the service was fantastic. We were able to walk in without a reservation. It is a very cozy atmosphere and not too large, not too loud, you can carry on a conversation with no difficulty. I would highly recommend coming here, it is a little bit more upscale so you will pay a little bit more. But it is so worth it. I would recommend both the beets and the squash. Trust me you won't regret it. The cocktails are really fun too. Worth trying a couple for sure.

Went for a quick lunch at Bar Mayla and grabbed the Pork Belly and Beef Brisket tacos. Good sized portions for both (2 tacos per order) with a good amount of meat and toppings. Flavours really worked well together. Will definitely be back and planning to check out Le Jardin upstairs on the next visit.

Delicious Tappas style food at a great price. Clearly a lot of effort and heart went into the dishes and they were brought out in a timely manner. Our server, I believe was named Adrian [ he was there this morning around noon], was fantasticly professional and welcoming. Amazing service for sure. The decor is also very stylish and the music is fun and ambient in adding to the atmosphere. Highly recommend as its delicious and priced well!

Maylas service and atmosphere were outstanding. I really enjoyed the experience but it is difficult not to compare to sister restaurant tango. My biggest beef with Mayla was the menu - I believe that certain things such as the cheeseburger and tacos are cheap cop outs for their original menu idea (Earth,Wind,Fire). Having around 40% of the menu last night everything else was outstanding but not nearly as consistent as Tango. I give it a 4.5 / 5 but give it a year to refine their taste and it should be good to rock :)

All I can say is an amazing experience with very kind friendly professional staff that are really know the products have suggestions. The atmosphere in the restaurant is really interesting the exposed brick the energy the owner has put a lot of thought and personality into the design of the restaurant. The food is outstanding the tastes you get from what we had started with charcuterie plate, then seared tuna with a mouth watering ginger and miso cream, then beef tartare mouth watering they bring this under a glass that has been smoked mouth watering, then was tortellini which l haven’t had a dish that tasted so amazing, next was lamb on sweet potato which was mind blowing and the dessert which I’m amazed by was foe gras dessert absolutely mouth watering. We will very happily return here.

What an enjoyable evening out! We made reservations on open table and showed up a few minutes late. The host offered to take us over to Tango next door to enjoy a drink while waiting for our table to be available. We were seated in a quiet private room and given complimentary drinks to enjoy. Lovely ambiance, attentive service, and absolutely everything and everyone was excellent. Food was delicious fusion of flavours that danced across your taste buds. The charcuterie board was amazing with the pillowy brioche. The amuse bouche mini bao was a delightful bite. We also ordered the broccolini, profiterole, steak, oysters, and the Turkish baklava and orchid ice cream for dessert. Exceptional service and made our anniversary celebration extra special and memorable. Highly recommend Mayla when you’re in Kingston! Thank you Mayla for a beautiful evening.

This has to be one of the best restaurants I’ve ever been too. We travel frequently all over the world and have dined at some spectacular locations. Mayla, hands down is one of the best. Everything was fantastic from the greeting to the bill. The food and presentation gives you an experience that you will never forget. The cocktails are also phenomenal. If you haven’t been and are looking for a night out that you will remember them this is your spot. I will say this isn’t for the value shopper and the items on menu are quite expensive but it’s worth every penny in my opinion. We will definitely be going back, hopefully sooner rather than later!

I came here with my wife in order to catch up with a few friends in the class. The ambience, the food, and the service were top notch. The food items on the menu are mostly starters but they go very well with the drinks served. The service was on cue and the server made sure we were busy with something or the other. This was the first outing with my wife in Kingston downtown and it was definitely worth it!

The food was amazing. I highly recommend trying the Lamb Cavatelli, I liked it so much I ordered it twice! Our hosted was amazing and constantly checking up on us and the place is incredibly beautiful, everything was hand painted.

Cozy atmosphere, amazing food and lovely staff. It’s a great spot for a date night or to catch up with friends. We also popped upstairs to check out Le Jardin. We are looking forward to our next visit already.

Excellent service, fresh and light food options. Great care with decor and atmosphere in this space. Very excited about the upstairs grill resto. Had a celebration here recently, great service. We really enjoyed lunch 100% will return. Please don't book all the tables on us but also yum, please enjoy. But please save us a table

A great find on our visit to Kingston. A very creative menu, wonderful delicious food, great service, beautiful interior and cozy ambiance! The live music (saxophone) was great. Really enjoyed our dinner, thank you to everyone at Mayla Concept! Highly recommend it!

Very good food. We enjoyed the Tuna, Scallops, Lamb chops and Steak. The flavours were very well balanced and the portions enough for 2 people. We're glad there were plenty of gluten free options

Mayla offers a unique experience. I went with my boyfriend and we ordered plenty of dishes including the courgette, the steak, and the shrimp which were my favourite. We ordered lots of cocktails as well and enjoyed them during our intimate time sitting at the bar. The green furnishing of the chairs is vibrant and beautiful to see while seated at Mayla and the service is friendly while also being professional.

Truly an incredible culinary experience. Extremely upscale/high class, yet still relaxed. It is pricey but you definitely get what you pay for. Amazing service; waiters are very attentive and informative about the dishes and any dietary restrictions you may have. The food is out of this world. I don't even know what these pictures are of except for the caviar, but it was all 10/10. I love the interior decor as well.

Decadent, flavorful beyond words and a true dining experience. Greeted by amazing staff who walked us through the menu and answered our questions (hubby is a picky eater). Shared 5 dishes and thoroughly enjoyed all. Stunning and tasty meal experience well worth the price. We will be returning in the near future!

Want to have a lavish meal? This is the place for you. The food is amazing. Every dish is artistically desigend, has a unique flavor and is incredibly tasty. You need to order about at least 4-5 items to have a full Mayla experience. Staff are so polite and host you perfectly.

Happy Valentine's Day is an understatement.... Valentine's Day Extraordinaire best describes our scrumptious intimate dinner at this new establishment. Read the reviews as I was looking for the perfect upscale yet relaxed restaurant to reflect high quality ingredients, service and comfort. Must say we were not disappointed in this gorgeous place! Service personnel were welcoming, knowledgeable and added to our amazing experience in a discreet fashion. From the charcuterie board through to an elegant chocolate dessert every morsel was mouth watering. This was an incredible experience suitable for this special occasion! Already looking ahead to book for the next celebration.
