Nassim was my guide and there was another gentlemen who did all of the driving. Each time I got out or in the vehicle, both guides got out of the vehicle to open the doors for me or grab any items I purchased along the way. Great tour for authentic Mexican food, culture, city views, and shopping. The market was one of my favorite things. The guide also was very knowledgeable and many of the locals are familiar with him so the services at restaurants are quick when you show up with Nassim.

Taco Tour! A local Mexican food experience. Just what we were looking for while visiting. - four taco stops - a mini adventure through 5th Ave - one dessert stop Our tour guide Rodrigo is the best, he is very knowledgeable and gave us a lot of fun facts about traditional Mexican food. Also the coffee tequila is a must try. You will be eating a lot of yummy tacos, it is best to keep a lot of room in your stomach for the tour.

If you are looking for what the local cuisine has to offer, look no further! This tour was so great after my wife and I did the morning tour we went back to the resort to bring our friends for the evening tour! Both tours were very different! But absolutely incredible! I asked the tour guides about special offerings from some of the restaurants we went to and they were happy to get me Tacos I wouldn’t be able to get at home! It was a wonderful way to see the local area of Cancun, try the cuisine, hear about the history while feeling safe. Keep up the great work!

We did the Taco Tastig tour in Playa Del carmen. As people who like sampling different foods, it was truly a highlight of our trip. We were taken to some places off the beaten track, and given the opportunity to try various styles of taco that I didn’t even know existed. When finished off with a traditional dessert from a street stall and a few beers, this made for a great evening. Our guide Carlos was knowledgeable and enthusiastic, and happy to give his time and expertise beyond the tour itself. We would definitely consider similar tours with this company in other parts of Mexico if available. Highly recommended.

An absolutely delightful evening - we would wholeheartedly take this tour again! We were treated to an abundance of delicious food across the three stops, leaving us with a delightful challenge of trying to savor it all. Make sure to bring some cash with you for the market visit and for tipping the mariachis. At the last restaurant there was also someone doing the pictures in sombreros - it was around $12 (USD) to buy one if you wanted it. The Lucha Libre matches were the definite highlight, offering three bouts packed with all sorts of costumes and entertaining antics. It was an immersive experience, as the excitement often spilled over into and interacting with the crowd, making us feel like an integral part of the action. The true stars of the tour were undoubtedly our fantastic guides, G & Angel. They navigated the evening with seamless expertise, providing informative explanations along the way. Thanks to their efforts, we were treated like VIPs and enjoyed front row seats to the Lucha Libre. Their attention to detail ensured we had an absolutely wonderful evening. Overall, this tour was an unforgettable evening filled with delicious food, delightful entertainment, and impeccable guiding. We can't wait to relive this experience again in the future!

We booked a taco tour with Cancun Food Tours during our recent stay, with pick-up included from our hotel. Our group was 10 in size, which was a perfect number for some chats & fun. Diego was an excellent guide and our driver (Angel I think) whizzed us around. Diego explained each taco, where it came from and what was available to drink in each spot. Between the tacos, plus all the chips & dips, we had more than enough to eat, and we also got 30 mins to spend walking around the Nightmarket by ourselves. An excellent experience, very well guided by Diego!

The Taco tour is a must for any foodie! We enjoyed 4 very different tacos and various beers and learned about the important role that these foods had on the development of Cancun area. Claudia was our host and her culinary depth of knowledge and passion for food was so much amazing! Highly recommend!!

WOW! Absolutely LOVED our Cancun Taco Tour led by Diego! There were two other groups with us and they had multiple dietary restrictions (no pork, no beef, and pescatarian) and Diego was able to accommodate them all at each establishment we visited! The food was delicious and the service at each place was great! We did not feel rushed by either Diego or the restaurant’s staff. Would 10/10 recommend this tour! Don’t eat before going, the portions are filling and you will not leave hungry!

This was the best excursion we had while in Cancun! Our guide, “G”, was very knowledgeable about the history of Mexico and explained the meaning behind the names of several restaurants. He made each stop feel personal, helped me with my Spanish and we laughed a lot! There were 4 taco stops and a final stop at a “locals” market for dessert. The market was a vibrate area, full of families and no pressure to buy. The cost was $95 per person and worth every penny. The tacos (and dessert) were all amazing!

I went on the Taco and Beer tour. This was one of my favorite experiences in Mexico. G and Angel made the entire trip amazing from start to finish. The food, the beer and the company were incredible. We took this tour to get a better understanding of the local food so we could venture out on our own throughout our trip. I can't express how helpful this trip was for growing my understanding of how to eat great, locally. Now, I wish we would have taken some of the other tours too! Go on these tours!

We’ve been to Mexico multiple times, but this was our first official food tour. And it did not disappoint! Our guide Nav was personable and knowledgeable and remembered little details about our family that made the experience even sweeter. Loved that the tour also included drinks, culture, and a market stop for tortillas and shopping! Book this if you want a break from your resort and want to experience the real Cancun. Heartily recommend.

The taco tour was an unbelievable experience with our wonderful tour guide, Claudia! Every single taco was unique and delicious, and everyone was so nice. Claudia gave us the history of each type of taco we ate and the history of each restaurant and was so passionate about sharing this piece of culture. If you're a foodie or just interested in getting a more authentic experience, the taco tour is the best way to go. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Cancun!

G, Alex, & Nassim are great! My husband became sick. They offered to stop at a pharmacy and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. We really appreciate it. The tacos were delicious! The murals were beautiful. The market was a great experience. And the churros were amazing! I highly recommend this tour!

We had the most amazing time during this tour with G, Alex and the rest of the passengers. The food was amazing, the ambiance incredible and the experience was just so much fun. We visited all kinds of different restaurant an we felt this the only experience we had that let us get a taste of the real Mexico. Would definitely recommend!

Booked the Lucha Libre, tacos & tequila experience. I booked the experience for the lucha libre match and the tequila and tacos was a bonus. Alexis was our guide who was very courteous & friendly. He picked us up from our resort & dropped us off after. We went to different areas in Cancun as well as restaurants. The food was amazing and the tequila was delicious. At the end, watching the lucha libre match was such an experience and so much fun! I would strongly recommend this experience to everyone and ask for Alexis!

G and Alex were so fun! This tour made our entire trip to Cancun worth it! The food was excellent. Learning more about where the dishes were from, how they were cooked was more than just a tasting event. Really enjoyed shopping the local market and avoiding the tourist traps!
