This place is different from any other Vips, and I’ve been to several throughout Mexico. The taste differs substantially from other places, the size is also different for the same price. Came to have dinner at 8 pm: hamburgers weren’t available at all, neither was the combo - and the waiter didn’t even bother to say that first. We just lost some time to choose plates that weren’t even available. The waiter’s face was like I owed him something, like I did something bad to him, but I didn’t know what exactly! The service was awful, as if I made him work. However he didn’t forget to say that the service is not included in the bill: well, obviously he is right - no service, no tip. At the cash the woman asked me TWICE if I wanted to leave a tip. I said NO twice and she said with hatred “thank you”. Well maybe if your service was any near OK at least, I would have tipped you, but with THAT attitude? No “goodbye, see you, thanks for coming”, nada. Nah, you may look all sad and angry at me all you want - can’t work with respect and passion, hate your job and your life? not my problem, bother somebody else. I would have evaded this place, but I just wanted to eat after long day on the beach. Not going back here, it’s not Vips!

Tourist trap. While offering products they include extra cost ones without telling you there's an extra cost. Aircon was off at 10am. They must be in energy saving mode because of having no customers. I couldn't even eat because of the heat.

My girlfriend ordered in Spanish (she’s from Colombia) and they still messed up the order. Tacos were pretty bland and not any salsa to go with it at all. Don’t recommend this place, can get better Mexican food in Canada …. Tourist trap.

Terrible tourist trap from a decent franchise. I have been in multiple VIPs across the country and this is not close at all to the other ones. Place needs a lot of maintenance, you can tell the place is aging and the the don’t care. Serves don’t tell you about the extras the offer have an extra cost and that is very disgusting. Food was cold and poorly served. I was not expecting any outstanding from a vips, but this is terrible experience. My guess is they don’t care about the place or the quality of food and service since they are in the hotel zone and people will come anyways. Be careful about the things you are being offered or stay away if possible.

Absolutely disgusting!! When you walk in you are met with a harsh smell of mold & mildew. It seems as if they have fans set up to keep the place from getting too hot, but all they did was essentially push the smell around. The tables, floors, walls, windows and seats were all hardly cleaned. There was dust, dirt, flies and what I’m assuming random bits of trash around. The service was subpar at best. My friends and I waited in the stench for about 20 minutes before we received menus and were asked for our drink orders. The food was mediocre but it was honestly just so difficult to get past the smell we couldn’t even enjoy the food. It just makes you wonder how clean the kitchen is or isn’t…

Service was below average. They didnt even bring out all of our order as they forgot what we ordered, staff dont speak English so its hard to communicate and they are not friendly, we didnt get a smile the whole time. Burger was actually good but everything else was rubbish and we didnt even eat it.

Friendly personnel and great affordable food! Its like an IHOP/Denny's This is your spot for those on a budget and who still want to eat good food. If you like juices go for the fresh squeezed orange juice The restaurant was also very clean.

This is a good place for a family breakfast or a casual business meal. There are AC plugs and they have a kids area (closed because of the pandemics). Enchiladas suizas and chilaquiles are some of my favorite dishes, but you can have beer, tacos, hamburgers and many other Mexican food and international food. Service is decaying, but I think it's because the staff is demotivated. The place is almost invisible and it doesn't look like a restaurant from the outside. Prices are affordable and food quality is decent. They offer a loyalty program on their website with coupons and discounts worth checking.

Mexican version of dennys. Very nice variety for breakfast. The combo deal is good. Cafe latte needs no sugar (from someone with a sweet tooth). Nice place.

I got their huevos rancheros with freshly squeezed juice and Americano coffee. It was a good experience.

on 03Dec23 at 23:30-23:40 incident to report to you tourists getting off the resort like we did . Just a warning not to sit by the steps of the entrance after they close bcs the police will come up to you and say you are breaking mexican law by sitting on private property and ask you to pay a fine of $400 and go to the police station for 36 hours. or he said come back here behind the bushes/fence to the left of the stairway with me away from the cameras and pay the fine here and will say your law breaking never happened. I paid him the $400 bcs I didn’t want no trouble and i’m sure if I argued with them it could be worse and end up dead on beach or side of road . never again will I come to Mexico. Vips please reply: is it illegal for me to take a break and sit on the wall by the entrance stairways after you are closed ?
