Brilliant food , service was fast and efficient. I love our table by the water. It is an expensive restaurant. So be prepared for a decent price. However they do go the extra mile to make your visit special. It was my daughter’s birthday 🎉 and they brought out a nice surprise. Thank you 🙏

The concierge at the Westin Lagunamar recommended this place to us. After four or five nights of eating local cuisine, we were looking for something a bit different. This place did not disappoint. I would go as far as to say it is as good as any Italian restaurants that we’ve been to. Felipe and Manuel we’re engaging and super friendly. We totally enjoyed our dinner. Definitely looking forward to coming back next year. Thank you so much for a great experience.

The best food we had the entire time we were here! You can taste the quality of the food. Portions were very generous, prices were very cheap for what you get! Overall 10/10 we both struggled to finish our food and had left overs. I'd recommend sitting outside, such a beautiful view

What a beautiful gem. We almost missed it walking at night it’s so elegant and refined that you almost miss it amongst the neon annoyance of Hotel Zone Cancun. Our hotel recommended and after we scoured the reviews we decided to give it a try. We were not disappointed. It’s so beautiful and the food was equally gorgeous. The ingredients are fresh and definitely high quality. Our server Omar and Juan Carlos were so sweet and attentive. They made us feel right at home and provided everything we needed. The drinks and wine list looked divine but we out drank ourselves at the pool so just stuck to water. We will definitely come back. This is great for couples, large groups, families or just friends. Love this place. Wish we had one in Vegas.

Delicious dinner consisting of home-made pasta and pesto. Come for the sunset view over the lagoon, but make sure you stay for the food and excellent service.

Extraordinary Italian cuisine, with a great wine list, and really nice service. It has a lovely view to the Laguna.

Gourmet Italian restaurant with wide variety of menu items to choose. Wine list was exceptional. We tried three different Italian wines and all were amazing. Danny explained our meal and the recommendation for wine with each course. Thank you!

By far this restaurant was one of favorites in Cancun. Overall the totally of the experience was absolutely amazing. The food was exquisite and the presentation was superb. Is a defínete most visit when in the area.

We were seen by Hector when we dropped in for dinner. The food as well as the service is superb. I cannot believe I found such good Italian food in Cancun. I had the catch of the day (grouper) and the wife had cartoccio fish. Both were delicious. We also had pasta and lentil soup that I found good if unremarkable. We finished the night of work some flan that was melt in your mouth delicious. Highly recommended. Ask for Hector.

Went for a birthday celebration, I had the spinach gorgonzola ravioli sautéed in butter and garlic...was out of this world. We also tried spaghetti they make in a huge parmesan wheel and the Adriatic pasta..all yummy. They even sang happy birthday and brought out some desert free!

Extremely professional and friendly service from start to finish. Pasta made in front of your eyes when you walk in. Romantic, moody decor. Really enjoyed the gnocchi. And the view of the lagoon at night from our table was very pretty. Pricier than most of Mexico but a much better value than most Italian in the states at the same price.

Blanca was great. She described every plate we asked about. Pasta was very fresh - almost melts in your mouth.

Brilliant place to eat for a nice occasion. Food was top tier, fresh pasta with prawns was very good, pasta al olio was kept simple and delicious. The service was great and we really had a good time

Fantastic food! The handmade pasta is out of this world. We sat outside and got to watch the sunset on the bay. I would recommend the gnocchi and the flan. They also had a great wine selection.

Great restaurant. The food was good portion, tasty, and fairly priced. The beautiful patio and the top not h amazing service really added to the experience. I got hand made served at the table pasta with shrimp and that was super tasty. Complementary bread service was awesome too and they take US cards and explains all the charges beforehand.

We caught fish and brought it in. The chef was very accommodating. He prepared our catch 3 different ways, and it was all delicious. We also tried the pizza, and it was tasty. We will definitely visit again on our next trip to Cancun.

We went to Cenacolo during our trip to Cancun for our anniversary. We sat at a table outside. We ordered 2 drinks (1 passion martini each) that had virtually zero alcohol in it. We had the calamari stuffed with shrimp for the appetizer. Small portion for the price and lacked overall flavor. For our main, I had the Risotto de Mare and my husband had the carbonara. The risotto was undercooked and SO oily I couldn't eat more than a couple bites. My husband had the carbonara which he said was "fine." For the price, it was underwhelming. The reason for such a low rating is due to what happened during the main course and how they handled it. I looked at the table and noticed it was moving...it was covered in bugs (we're talking upwards of 50) crawling off of my risotto bowl. I left the table as I started feeling ill. We told the staff what happened, and they just said "oh. want to have your anniversary cake inside?" I know we were sitting outside but you'd think they'd do more to apologize and accommodate...like saying sorry to start. We said no thank you to the cake, asked for the bill, paid, and left. It was the worst meal we had in all of Cancun. I do not recommend it.

We had a delightful dinner at Cenacolo Cancun Zona Hotelera. Made reservations through google maps /open table and I recommend doing so on the weekends since I’m sure they must get packed. I tried the mezcalito berries drink and it was delicious. We also tried the beef carpaccio with black truffles which was excellent as well. The service was top notch. Our servers were Felipe and Manuel and were great with suggestions as well as fast and attentive. We had the Victoria salad and it was a bit like eating rabbit food (hubs words) needed a little more flavor but the presentation was beautiful and the crispy Parmesan was creative and tasty. For dinner we had the Penne Diavola and it was delicious. The sauce was mixed at our table in a wheel of pecorino cheese and it was just perfect. Was a bit worried it would be too spicy but Felipe assured me it wasn’t. And he was right. For dessert he suggested the chocolate soufflé and it was to die for. All in all you won’t regret coming here for dinner. Definitely a winner in Cancun. Have been back many times and never disappoints.

My wife and I were in search of high quality and authentic Italian cuisine and Cenacolo did not disappoint! We planned on just stopping by for a quick meal and upon entering, we casually shared that we were in Cancun to celebrate my wife's birthday and they took that to heart. We were seated with an amazing view of the water. Prior to our pizza coming out we received some complimentary breads along with pickled onions and a cheese spread that was super unique and delicious. Shortly after the pizza came out and it was perfect in every way! High quality ingredients, amazing taste and you can clearly tell that this place is owned/managed by an Italian! As we were ready to leave, several staff members came out with a complimentary dessert and sang happy birthday to my wife and she was floored! Thank you David and team for providing us a delicious meal and exceptional service! Highly recommend Cenacolo!

They have mocktails available, I recommend the Pina Colada. The Mango Tango is not worth it. Food is good but I've had better.

We went there for our 30th wedding anniversary. It was spectacular! They bring out a nice bread selection, with a soft cheese and spicy onions for the table. Our martinis were great, and the recommended wines by the glass were great! The salads were fantastic, as were the main courses. I'd recommend the red and black guitar spaghetti, as well as the gnocchi with pasta sauce. All the pasta is fresh and made in house. Excellent service and a very nice view of the lagoon. We enjoyed it so much we brought back 5 other friends!

I went for my 40th Birthday Dinner. The service was AHH-MAY-ZING!!!! The waiter and manager were very attentive. The food was delicious. I had ravioli and my boyfriend sausage and veggies. I would definitely go back my next visit to Cancun.

Great food, service, and atmosphere. I wish I had a bigger stomach! The entire staff was so welcoming and our servers, Paco and Gadiel, were very attentive and friendly. We were seated on the back deck facing the lagoon and dock with a wonderful view. The toughest part of the meal was deciding what to eat. As we walked to our table we observed fresh pasta rolled and formed, meats getting sliced, and other wonderful looking dishes prepared. We started with the burrata bruschetta and an order of artichokes ( like my grandma used to make). I had a great bolognase lagasna and was stuffed. Not too sure how I managed to finish with a chocolate drop for desert, but I did. Everything was excellent Thank you to everyone at Cenacolo. We will be back soon.
