Recommend a visit, the staff here is very friendly and helpful. The Church is easily accessible via the red bus, that is only 12 pesos per person, just tell the driver that you are going to the Parroquia and they will call it out. If they do not, it is located directly across from the Temptations Hotel. There is a bus stop there.

I'm ExCiteD To Be HERE.. NOW UpDate.. Just So YOU know.. I LOVE going to church(es)! As soon as I landed in CanCun Mx. A driver was waiting for me outside the airport to take me to the place I would be until the following Sunday. As soon as I arrived at the resort. I was taken to my room and I told Jesus.. Bye.. I GOTTA GO to CHURCH!! Bus ride with traffic.. 50 mins. 22 pesos. I arrived right on time.. like 3 mins to spare before the 8pm service.. I quickly took as many pics as I could before the service started. I went to the front of the alter to see the beautiful statue of Jesus and get some pics. I looked to my left and noticed one of the assist to the Priest looking at me. I thought maybe I shouldn't be this close.. IDK ha ha ha After I sat down, I realize, maybe she looked at me in a strange way, because I was dressed like them. Black pants.. white shirt.. except.. I had on a neon yellow shirt under my white button up. I was glowing hahaha The service was great.. in Spanish. Great message, easy to understand. Yes.. its all an open space.. What do YOU Expect... THIS IS CANCUN MX. IT IS WONDERFUL! Many people go to the beach and never stay.. its outdoors.. its hot and sticky. This is CanCun Church.. Its out doors. EnJOY IT!! Look to God and ask God to keep you cool. LoL Some people drove to church. There was plenty of parking, its on the right side of the building. Many walked in from near by resorts and hotels. Maybe, needing to be there as I had to be. I had to get MY FIX!! TO Feel This God Presence ~> There at that moment, in time. IT WAS GREAT! Sometimes I wonder.. I must have been connected to church, religion, spiritual stuff in my previous life. How BiZarre, I get into this as much as I do. IM NOT LIKE OTHER PEOPLE ha ha ha I've wondered why Im not like normal people. Ive accepted.... THIS IS GODs Idea.. for My LIFE!! IF YOUR GOING TO GO TO CHURCH.. LOOK FOR A SPIRIT To TOUCH YOU! EXPECT SOMETHING GREAT TO HAPPEN TO YOU!! God LIKES TO HAVE FUNNNN TOO!! SO, ENJOY YOURSELF, While at Church!! ha ha ha GOD LOVES YOU and SO DO I!! Peace Now Gooo.. and Bring SomeOne, Some GOOD NEWS OR a Good Word OR Some LOVE.. in the form of a Taco maybe, hahaha Hugs.. time... listening... helping... comforting.. There are many ways to Show /Give LOVE! GET CREATIVE! Thank YOU Parroquia De Cristo, for All The LOVE YOU GIVE! I Feel it and I Appreciate it, SO VERY MUCH!!

Loved it! A church between sea and laguna. Open on all side, rarely crowded, fresh air and, on special events, almost a show. Parking available. North side of Zona Hotelera.

We visited this church in Cancun as my mother-in-law likes to visit a church in every city. It’s very pretty and has a cute gift shop where I was able to buy my nan a couple of little gifts

Awesome Catholic church to worship. It's located near hotel zone and accessible by bus. The size was big enough to accommodate a big crowd but it wasn't too crowded when we attended the mass. Wooded image of Christ suspended at the near the altar reminds me of Jesus ascension. It's airy, fans on the side to keep you cool as the weather was 90 degrees that day. . English mass at 9am on Sunday. It's near hotel zone and accessible by bus. We paid 12 pesos each for a one way ride.

Love the hours for Mass service as it gives me many options. I visit Cancun regularly and the bus stops right at the entrance. It only cost US$1.00. The cheapest visit to Jesus. Perpetual Adoration is a huge bonus! I love this Parish!

Beautiful open air church for anyone visiting from out of town. Natural connection to nature and Your Source. The organist sings live… magical voice resonates off the walls. English or Spanish… you are filled with reverence. I’m a tourist from NY and enjoy the mass whenever I visit. 👍🏼🇺🇸

Mass at 9:30 on Sunday is in English, but there are three daily masses as well which are easy enough to follow. Such a beautiful, beautiful church and a very welcoming community, easy to get to by bus

First time going to mass outside of the United States. A great experience in the open air sanctuary! The presiding priest was so welcoming and inspiring! Put it on your list of "to do's" if you're visiting Cancun.

Big open-air concept church in Cancun, just perfect to pray, not much noise from the street. Also, nice small gardens and water spots to relax in harmony. Masses are performed in Spanish everyday.

One of the few Roman Catholic temples where the main figure is Jesus ascending (please, more of this. The world doesn't need more bleeding Jesus). The atmosphere of the temple is awesome, it almost feels like a five-star resort lobby and I personally felt welcome. My only concern is about the guilt-trip speech typical of Roman Catholics trying to make me feel a sinner because, basically, I breathe and I have earthly delights and needs. The priest even made a comparison saying that baptism made Christianity an "open" religion instead of Jews who were "designated by birth". I think that those comments are out of place in modern times and make it look more like propaganda. Anyway, it's a great temple to visit. Please show respect wether you sympathize with Catholics or not and try to donate to the maintenance of the place (hurricanes make a mess every time and pandemic made things worse).

😐 This was the first church built in Cancun. It dates back to 1970-72. The focal point is the windowed cross once you enter.
