I’d rate this around 3.5 There is not too much to see, the site and the jungle walk is quite cute. But the display is limited in my opinion. We were in and out within the hour, this included the walk. If you are not planning on leaving Cancun, could be a good way of absorbing a little culture, otherwise I’d take a trip to one of the bigger archeological sites.

Wonderful archeological site in the heart of the Cancún hotel zone. Admission is included with your ticket to the Museum of Mayan Culture. Leave yourself plenty of time to explore and appreciate the work of the Mayans.

Loved the little jungle walk to the ruins. Wish I could have spent more time in the museum but with 4 young kids it was easier to get them outside. This is a quick walk from where we were staying (Seadust) and a must if you aren’t able to get to the bigger further away sites.

U get there by visiting the Maya museum first, which it cost 80 Mexican pesos.

If you don't want to travel to Tulum or Chichen Itza and stay around the Hotel Zone in Cancun. This is a great place to visit. Watch out for the little iguanas, and you might run into a snake.

This is an archaeological site intertwined with a dense mangrove filled with interesting wildlife, primarily lizards of varying specials. The temple ruins, dubbed "the pyramid", was a particularly pleasant surprise.

Such a delight. Excellent jungle environment and a thoughtful path with much guidance to understand how the Mayan residents lived their lives here. The staffs were enthusiastic as well!

This is the very good place to spent some time with Mayan RUINS. This place feels like dens forest however you can see road just across the area. Great place for spent some time in shadows of trees. Also good place for lizard and bird photography. This is I side the Mayan museum. Ticket is 90 peso per person. 50 for gopro or other video camera

This is part of museo maya de cancun. Small gem in hotel zone. I love the morning walk in nature. Enjoyed birds chirping and iguanas

A quick way to see some Mayan history. They close the gate from the museum to the grounds at 3:30. They don’t mark that anywhere and so we missed out on the walk around the ruins. The museum closes at 4. Clearly government run with such early quitting hours!

Great museum, good way to spend 1-3 hours. The art section was really fascinating too, tho my main focus was artifacts and ruins and historical knowledge. My main point against it (reason for 4* instead of 5*) was they didn't allow water bottles and had no drinking water available. I was quite thirsty the whole time

Wonderful! The combination with the museum is perfect. The jungle vibes and Mayan traditions are magnetic. There's a bus stop just there as well.
