Sadly a driver with the cab number 2638 first was dishonest about the price we agreed to the airport and wouldn't give me change from a larger note, he then drove off really fast with our remaining luggage in his car that had all our photography equipment (around $6,000 worth) and after a long lengthy process getting CCTV and going to this taxi rank multiple times and extending our holiday to chase this up, he was protected and they ignored our evidence against him. Not all the drivers at this rank will be as criminal minded as this guy, but please be aware that anything lost or stolen will not be diligently followed up thoroughly, its a very basic set up with no support for lost and found or any accountability for the drivers. we will never see that equipment again and this guy didn't even receive any kind of punishment.

Clean up your corruption and thievery. You are hurting the entire tourism industry and Cancun. Your drives won’t identify. Your drivers won’t show the license. Charging “double service” to take two people to the same airport!! Shame shame! You have no way to submit a claim against a driver. Corrupt to the core!!

800 pesos to go from puerto Juarez to hotel zone which only took 20 minutes dew to our driver thinking he was in a fast and furious movie. Absolute rip off, and he even had the cheek to say "no tip?" at the end. Rude scammer.

This is the place you need to go if you want to get your Driver License. A bit to crowded. Service is fast but that’s if they decide to give you the full information of what you need in day one.

From las Sirenas bar at midnight to our hotel RIU he charged us $150.00 us dollars, at time of services he told us $50.00 us dollars witch I thought it was fair due to the after hours and convenience, when we arrived he literally hold us hostage at the destination threatening us that one way or another we will have to pay him cash $150.0 us dollars, I had my wife run to our room and gather the cash, I will never travel to Cancun nor take a taxi there, there is no law, taxi drivers are out of control and I am submitting this experience our department of tourism is the States, DO NOT TRAVEL TO CANCUN !!

I thought I had a bad experience last year with taxi drivers, but this year it was even worst. Drivers threatening tourist to leave them stranded if they dont pay them 100usd for a hotel-airport run. and then they have the nerve to complain because people want to use Uber. Terrible ways to treat tourists.
