    PLEASE POTENTIAL FUTURE GUESTS** READ I am writing this review on behalf of my parents, who came to visit last week to Cancun for their first time. To start off, I think it’s common decency to never put two queen size beds next to each other and claim it as a “king” size. There was a hole in the middle, did you think it is appropriate for my parents to sleep on that? The AC was leaking, god forbid my parents slipped on the nasty fluids your AC was extremely leaking onto the floor. The buffet they so claim they offer, BARELY HAS A VARIETY OF FOOD FOR YOU TO ENJOY. Please people, it’s not worth your buck and stress. You come to vacation for joy, relaxation and NOT TO BE BOMBARDED by the hotel employees pushing you to buy time share. An extremely rude lady ripped the paper in my fathers face, because my father declined to buy timeshares. What kind of hotel runs like this, why would your employee say “Over here in Mexico, this is normal and how we run things”. Absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable for this hotel. The restaurants, as you’ve probably read in other reviews barely is open and you have to reserve. The availability is very limited. Please for any future potential guests, do not waste your money unless you rather take your chances. I am taking the time to give a warning to all, as this is not fair. My parents, two hard working people came to enjoy themselves and this hotel did not fulfill my parents expectations- despite this hotel rating. Which that surprises me , a 4 star rated hotel which in my opinion, is LIES.

    I've been to a few resorts in Cancun now, and overall was always happy with the resorts... Unfortunately this was the first resort I've been extremely disappointed in. We got a suite which was overall pretty nice! It had a great view of the beach and pool and there were only a few floors and the elevators never took long. Pools were nice, warm, and roomy, and most of the workers were pretty friendly. The disappointing part was the fact that they don't tell you their 2 best restaurants (the steak house and Japanese hibachi are only open on weekends and you have to reserve early. Obviously we weren't able to eat at either one. Their buffet was also very lacking. Instead of an actual buffet, each day they'd have a theme. They have 3 sections and you would think it would all be with delicious food...but only one section was actual food. The second section had a salad bar and the third was for the desserts. You basically only have a few things to actually eat and get fat off of every day. Room service wasn't horrible but it definitely wasn't great. We were never actually served at any of the restaurants and had to ask someone to come by to get even a refill. I don't see that as a huge issue since they'll serve you still. You just have to catch their attention and ask. Overall not horrible but we personally felt a little ripped off since we've paid the same amount and had a much better experience and more food options

    We had a great time at this resort! My parents renewed their vows here and the service was beautiful! The contact was great from the staff as well! Food was okay best was probably the pizza in St. Trop and the hibachi! Beach access was perfect. 3 different pools and fun activities during the day like volleyball and the foam parties! Would definitely recommend but be wary if you tend to be a pickier eater! Overall excellent!

    I was leaning more towards 1.5 stars but I changed it to a 3 because my husband really enjoyed the Seasons restaurant. He was ranting and raving about the NY steak. The main reason I want an all inclusive resort is for the food. The food here is NOT that great for breakfast and lunch. I eat mostly everything and am not a picky eater, but I could barely find anything I liked to eat during those times. The teppanyaki is good, but that's only available at dinner with reservations. The resort needs remodeling. It's noticeably worn down in various spots. The service is incredibly slow at the front desk and buffet. Almost annoyingly slow. They will seat you and not take your drink order unless you go out of your way to request it. The restaurants are much better with service. The entertainment staff is vocally talented and friendly

    Incredibly friendly staff, incredibly disorganized business. Food is not as good as you expected to be, specially the "steakhouse". We were offered transportation airport-hotel-airport, when we arrived the taxi company didn't even have a record of our reservation, so we had to arrange our own transportation... But they tried to bill us and the hotel wouldn't let us check out because the charge was in our bill (even though they claimed the taxi company was an independent outfit not associated with the hotel.) When we arrived, the hotel had the hardest time to even find our information too. The hotel decor was something out of the 90's without any artwork in any wall, that was "different." If you're planning to spend at least a couple thousand dollars in an all-inclusive resort, there might be a better option. Again, the friendliness is outstanding.

    The overall stay was very clean, inviting, and relaxing. All you want from a hotel really. The activities team go above and beyond to make the guests feel like they have more than enough to do here! As well as the staff were super friendly, thoughtful, and attentive to every need. The food also was very satisfactory, and pretty high end, with multiple options available. The location does help too because there are also solid restaurants within walking distance!!! Would recommend it again and again. The pool area is huge, and clean. Drinks were fantastic, what else can I say that I haven’t already? Oh right, the spa. Is. A. Must. Best service from a hotel I’ve received!!!!

    We had the most wonderful time in this resort thanks to the staff of the hotel. Every employee went out of their way to make us feel special during every interaction. Concierge Giselle and Carlos would not allow us to pass without stopping to make sure every thing was to our liking. A room service attendant recognized my wife and assisted in getting her a wheel chair when she fell two blocks from the hotel, even though he was off duty. The spa experience was very refreshing. We would like to thank the management team for having such valued employees.

    We enjoyed our stay! We were pleased that after night #1 the staff made it a priority to let us change rooms, due to the noisy generators at the resort across the way. The food and service was delicious and delightful. The Royal Elite staff members were happy and eager to help with any issues or requests we had. Last, but not least, MIGUEL at the Premium Bar was such a joy to have serve us. He always greeted us with a smile and that smile never left his face. Overall, we will recommend SANDOS CANCUN to our friends. And we WILL be back.

    Overall a great resort for everyone, this was mine and my girlfriend’s first time staying at an all inclusive. The service seemed to be okay, I’m not sure what it’s normally like, sometimes great and sometimes not so great/ quick. We stayed in the superior room and it was very clean and had everything a room could need. Our favorite part of this resort was Miguel at the premium bar, he was awesome and always smiling, always a good time chatting with him and amazing service from him. During our arrival he asked where we were from and brought us drinks to our room. The pool was awesome and the entertainment team was great. Ocean views were amazing from the beach.

    We spent few nights here to celebrate my partners birthday. Good hotel, good food and service. I am giving 5 star to Stefano. He was professional, polite, and very helpful. I needed some one to decorate our room when we are not there and he make it possible. I can't thank him enough for coming in on his day off and doing it for us. He did it great. Mario and Theresa also were great in Spa. Thanks everyone for making our stay enjoyable.

    Pros: Safe. Beautiful beach. Clean. Easy access to the airport, city bus, and restaurants. Room and bathroom were clean. Clean pool towels and pool areas. Friendly concierge desk. Most employees were very nice. Lets you stick around with benefits after checkout until your ride arrives. Not really luxury, but not like horrible reviews I saw of cheaper places. You get exactly what you paid for. I would probably go back. Cons: I gave the 3 star rating mainly because of noise and food. You cannot sleep in. The halls and rooms have marble floors with no rugs and the doors have no rubber gaskets around them. By 7:30 AM there are already cleaning crews and breakfast carts rolling down the halls that are so clear and loud that you think they're at the end of your bed to wake you up. I was a long way from the elevators, and I could perfectly hear conversations of people waiting for it from my bed. You hear every footstep, glass bottle rolling, door shutting, knock, etc. as if it's right in your ear. Bring earplugs. The food is just okay. Be prepared to eat most meals at the buffet because it's hard to get reservations at the restaurants after you arrive. The buffet is like a typical cruise or chain hotel. Pretty but not much flavor. We ended up going out to eat more than we budgeted for because the food there just wasn't good even though it was free and included. You have to pay for the hot tub.

    We stayed 3 nights, first all inclusive experience. We were not disappointed. Remember to reserve for dinners in advance. Look for Eddie by the pool when you get your towels. Super nice guy who speaks English, German and french really well!!

    Unfortunately not a real 5 star hotel. Hotel is pretty old and the pool was not cleaned. Often enough the food was average and the entertainment was limited. More should be offered throughout the day at the hotel. Not even the typical ping pong or pool table. Also no actual bar near the pool area. You must walk into w restaurant to order drinks. The entertainment team was the best part of the day but other than that staff not very friendly.

    I have to stay I had an amazing stay. From the staff, to the food to the location, everything was perfect. The staff all remembered my name and made me feel very comfortable on my solo vacation. They have a full vegan menu which was primarily why I choose this hotel, and they went out of their way to accommodate me. They made my birthday vacation a memorable experience. It was always clean, and the service is great. I had a very enjoyable get away and will be back. I would 100% recommend this hotel to anyone, you will not regret it.

    The hotel is on the lower end of Cancun, about 20mins from the airport, the hotel is generally in good condition, with ongoing repairs on a daily basis without being intrusive. Every single member of staff that we met was pleasant and helpful. Food was of a good standard, with 5 different restaurants and 2 bars, the beers and spirits, wines we're all good. There is 3 pools, leading down to the sea, the beach is beautiful and the sea is clear but could be a bit rough at times. The room was clean and fairly modern although some wiring and plugs were in need of repair. The bed was massive and extremely comfortable, one minus we had no balcony, some of the rooms approx a 1/3 didn't, which I had never had before. Overall 4.5 out of five, recommend ed

    Christian (concierge service) was great!! So helpful and detail-oriented. We wanted to put together a special celebration for my moms birthday, and he was very accommodating, and even helped us hang up decorations! He helped us order a special breakfast, and overall, made our trip easy and very enjoyable. 100 stars ⭐️ for Christian!

    My husband and I stayed at this resort in December for 3 days and 4 nights. The resort was great! We would definitely come back. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We were checked in by Carlos who explained everything in detail. One thing we were caught off guard was that the taxes for the resort needed to be paid in cash. They have an ATM on site so it was not an issue but just make sure you know your card’s PIN number and that the card won’t be declined due to an international charge. After we were checked in, Oscar walked us through the restaurants and amenities. He also tried to get us to join the Royal Elite seminar but we were not interested so we declined. He also explained to us the restaurants that require reservations so make sure to reserve them through the app or they will not accommodate you. The reservations are only for the dinner restaurants. The beach was clean and the waiters by the pool were great! Eddie was amazing. He managed the pool side and was a great conversationalist. We truly enjoyed his company and his presence. Make sure to chat with him during your trip here! The people here are really friendly and kind. We were very happy with that. Some of the negatives that we saw (but not deal breakers) were that some times the hallways can get a bit noisy at night. I’m not surprised since there are activities and bars open late. The food selections were great with many choices, but we stayed here for a short amount of time so I can see someone getting tired of the food options if they stayed here for longer than a week so make sure you like more than 1-2 dishes at the restaurants. I wish that they would’ve let us take the restaurant food back to our room. They mentioned that was not allowed. There is room service available but there is not much of a selection so it would’ve been nice to be able to take food or dessert back to the room but drinks are totally allowed. Overall, this was a great resort and we would recommend this to a family or couple wanting to vacation here.

    A great birthday get away trip. I c had an issue with the AC in the room but the maintenance person came right away. The entertainment staff Donna, Memo, and Victor are great and full of energy. Ivan from Seasons is amazing! His service was exceptional and the fire show to celebrate my birthday was definitely over the top. I would definitely recommend the steak house, Seasons. It is the best restaurant in my opinion. Every dish was flavorful.

    Spa was excellent , Sylvia and Danielle were great. Eleazar was great at the pool great massages!!! Fun guy. Alejandro at front desk was very accomodating and made our stay memorable.. our concierge Carlos Stefano was EXCELLENT!!! Helped us all the time ❤️ Excellent entertainment crew, something to do every night. Was very disappointed that we never got to eat at the French restaurant in the evening , the best view, and open restaurant in property never open at night was disappointing.., should mention it on website. Great staff lovely people

    We love the dancing club, Daniella, Ella and Maria they played volleyball with us. It was a lot of fun! They made it better and fun! Good sportsmanship too. We love them!!! They have good dance moves and showed us around. Definitely recommend. I also enjoyed a day at the spa and Ramon did very well with my massage. I left feeling relaxed.

    The staff at Sandos Cancun was amazing. In particular Milli at the spa gave me an amazing after sun treatment that was just what I needed. The entertainment team was also there to make sure we all had fun. Ellie led a stretching activity in the grass that was relaxing a great way to start the day. The pools are spacious, clean, and have plenty of seats for everyone. They also have one of the largest beaches when compared to the other nearby hotels. The only area of improvement which I have to be honest about is the food. Breakfast was nice but the other restaurants were pretty bland. The vegetarian options often were better - so ask for those options if they are not already on the menus.

    I loved staying here! The all inclusive package was definitely worth the price, it was very nice to get free food/drinks throughout the week. I loved the view and was surprised that we got a balcony. The private beach is also very nice, it was never too crowded. There was always something to do. The entertainment team specifically was very helpful — the entertainment team showed us local spots to go to eat, games we could participate in, taught us about local and Mexican culture, and much more. I hope to come back!

    My stay was awesome! I had a sprained ankle so was not able to do much. Went to celebrate my birthday, and it was such a great experience as it was a solo trip and met some awesome people during my stay. What I loved the most of my stay was the staff! Very friendly, personal attentive staff Premium Bar- Miguel Pool/beach service- Omar The entertainment team were really great. They had such great energy. Abraham, Danna y Carlos.     Daniel, Miguel and Anibal made our trip so memorable. The entertainment crew is the best. Vanessa & Luisa & Karla were the best hosts and helped us out several times! Request Omar as a waiter if you can! His specialty at the Italian restaurant was so good. Jesus was so sweet to let us eat last minute before our departure. :) & def get a mojito/espresso martini from Adan and Erick. They’re the sweetest!

    The service is excellent. The rooms leave much to be desired. They are clean, but they are run down. Our lamp doesn’t really work and there are no fans in the bathroom. The hotel is HOT! You don’t need anything but a sundress to be in the hotel. Otherwise you will sweat! The food has been great, but we don’t like the buffet. It’s ordinary food. Nothing special or delicious, unfortunately! But, the remainder of the restaurants have been terrific.

    Update 6/16: We left the resort a few weeks ago, but wanted to share an update as promised earlier. The concierge desk reached out to me during our stay and offered a cake and access to VIP breakfast as compensation. But the underlying issues were not completely addressed (AC was fixed on Day 3 of our stay) and all the things that we promised were not delivered (e.g. cake). They sent the cake after a reminder, but I was not in a mood to accept gestures that are not genuine and heartfelt, so I declined the same. I would NOT recommend this resort to anyone who is expecting consistent service and a hassle free vacation. The beach is nice and staff were good, but horrible room service, room itself looks aged. I think this hotel is catering more to weddings and slightly older audience (no offense). Would not recommend to young couples or families. I am still at the place. I am forced to put this review right now as despite going to the front desk multiple times the following issues have not been addressed: 1) room service impossible to reach . I tried 10 times but hotel not helpful. Very disappointing. 2) no warm / hot water. 3) ac not working. I would normally wait for things to fix itself , but we have paid a lot of money for this and we’re expecting better. I am happy to modify my review if hotel management sees this and rectifies ASAP.

    THIS RESORT IS A MUST STAY!! My wife and I had our destination wedding at this resort and We stayed for a week during May 2022. The weather was perfect. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Service from our wedding coordinator Nelly, was excellent. She is an expert In her field and it shows. We felt like we were in good hands with her throughout the whole process. As far as the resort there is plenty to do, and they have someone on site to help you with scheduling excursions. Everything is clean. Food was good for resort food, no complaints. All of our guests had a good time. We will be back!

    I am writing this review express my deep dissatisfaction with the abysmal service I experienced during my recent stay at your resort. I had high expectations for a relaxing and enjoyable vacation, but unfortunately, my experience was marred by the consistently poor level of service provided by your staff. Also regarding the hidden fees and deceptive practices I encountered during my recent stay at your resort. While I had initially chosen your establishment for what seemed like a pleasant getaway, my experience was tarnished by the unscrupulous manner in which additional charges were imposed without prior disclosure. In light of my disappointing experience, I will not recommend your resort to friends, family, or colleagues. As well as that When I made my reservation, it was explicitly stated that transportation to and from the resort would be provided as part of the package. This assurance was a significant selling point for me, as it relieved the burden of arranging and paying for transportation separately. However, upon arrival, I was informed that there would be additional charges for the transportation services I had expected to be complimentary. The contradiction between the initial agreement and the subsequent imposition of transportation fees is not only deceptive but also unfair to guests. It undermines the trust placed in your resort and tarnishes the overall experience. As a result, I had to wait an hour just to know that there would be no transport available and I was wasting my time all for nothing after 7 hours of flight. By addressing this matter promptly and taking steps to prevent similar occurrences in the future, you can salvage your resort's reputation and restore trust among your guests. I hope that you understand the importance of rectifying this issue and take the necessary actions to ensure fair treatment of your guests.

    Overall stay at Sandos Cancun was disappointing especially for how much we paid. Staff was welcoming when we arrived, interacting with staff was great. Would be helpful to provide a map. Food: Buffet food claims to be impressive, it was extremely disappointing and not good. It would be helpful to label which foods were vegan friendly and offer vegan desserts. It would also be great if drink service was improved at the buffet. I often had to chase someone down to get drinks. The restaurant foods were also disappointing. Some foods were labeled no dairy, and then I received it, it had cheese all over it, despite saying I had a dairy allergy. Seasons (steakhouse) did however go out of their way to get me a dairy free dessert even though it wasn't on their menu. Amenities: Rooms were great, bed was comfortable, beach was great, pool was great. But drink service was absent in the Royal Elite section on the beach while we were there but fine at the pool. Sometimes someone in the towel hut offered a saved spot when we couldn't find a spot by the pool. Room service was okay, food arrives cold. Asked for extra fries on one order and they didn't deliver on it. There was a day they didn't refill waters for the room. I recommend stocking the room with a little more waters so we don't have to go out of our way to ask for more. Gym is run down and needs updating. Spa for the massages was not worth it. Really kind staff, but such a disappointing stay. Sadly won't revisit.

    Amazing 10 days here! The service was incredible, the food was great & the beds were comfy! Getting pizza delivered to the pool & drinks delivered to the beach was incredible. Every employee went above and beyond (Mario, Andres, Casanova & so many more). The entertainment team were so great & hilarious - Andrea, Daniel & the whole team. I would definitely recommend the resort!

    This was my first all inclusive experience. Wonderful, friendly and attentive staff. Drinks were brought to us, umbrellas were set up for us. Day beds on the beach and by the pool were available to all hotel guest at not charge. Felt like the princess treatment. Location was wonderful, right by the beach with three infinity pools. The pool was more popular than the beach, with music and activities and better access to the bar. The beach was less crowded. Food was mediocre to okay. The best meal I had was at the restaurant Season on the first floor. Rooms were clean with a fully stocked mini fridge. Daniela checked us in and out and was very helpful and sweet. Our room wasn’t ready yet but she assisted us to the bellhop who could bring our bags up to the room when it was ready and she showed us the buffet where we could eat after our long day of traveling.

    Amazing experience. Came for a wedding and all the staff was great, especially Daniel from the entertainment team! Bartenders and servers near the pool were also great, rarely needed to order because staff remembered what we were drinking. The food was what I expected from a small resort, pretty good but small servings. Hibachi was the best by far. Great experience, would definitely recommend to people.

    We recently had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful resort in Mexico and I have to say, it was a great experience! What really stood out to me was the entertainment crew. From the moment we arrived, they were welcoming and friendly, making us feel right at home. Daniel, in particular, was an absolute star. His energy and enthusiasm were contagious, and he really went out of his way to make sure that we were having a great time. He was always smiling and laughing, and his positive attitude was infectious. He really made our stay at the resort truly unforgettable.

    My stay at Sandos has been excellent! Sergio, Rey, and Danny have been excellent tending to my needs at the pool all day long! I’ve been at the pool every single day since i arrived! There was even a very fun and awesome pool party that had lots of foam and dancing with great music! Everyone goes out of their way to make sure the guests are taken care of and catered to. I’m a solo traveler and it’s been very entertaining and safe! I would definitely recommend.

    Absolute blast! The activity staff are awesome, Sergio, Daniel, Gisele, Sophia, and Jair, are the life of the party and beyond friendly! There are so many activities to do every day and the food is excellent. I have multiple food allergies, (gluten, dairy, and soy), and they have been extremely accommodating. I've only been here a few days, I'm on my honeymoon and it's my first time here. I've already been having so much fun and the staff truly make you feel welcome, almost like you are friends. I would definitely come back! 10/10 would recommend!

    It was an exceptional stay at Sandos Cancun. Me and my friends did stay there for 2 weeks over Halloween & dia de muertos and we had so much fun! The whole staff was friendly and attentive at all times, which is something I really care for.. The rooms with the splendid view as well :)) Daniel, Sergio & the rest of the entertainment team were also very fun to be around! Can’t even name all the activities they’ve been doing with us.. From volleyball matches to foam parties to poker nights etc., definitely worth the experience! Can’t wait to be back next year :)

    Excellent service especially Mario at the pool. Lots of sun beds and good outdoor facilities. Pools are nice and never too crowded. Really enjoyed the foam party at the pool. Food was manageable. But rooms are very old and need renovation. On day 2 of our stay, water started leaking from bathroom ceiling and the AC. Terrace door was difficult to open and close.
