It was first time to stay at a hostel and I was worried about it a little bit. But, everything was more than I expected from the facility like air conditioners and showers and the cleanness to food and people. It was also nice that there are more reasonable restaurants around Venado than those of Hotel Zone.  And then the best thing about Venado was the vibes.

Nice, only the bathroom needs more details for soap, hang shaving razors etc

Had no problems, but walked on egg shells because of the rules. Cost to store luggage and other things I felt were unnecessary

Great hostel. The location is a bit hidden, but that makes perfect to avoid the sounds of Cancun night life. The shared kitchen is not that good... Missing basics like cutlery, dishes and stuff. But it has nice ambient. I really enjoyed it.

Great value for money ratio. Hostel with really basic facilities. (+) There is a garden with nice spots to chill. (-) Shared kitchen on the rooftop - not maintained at all. (+) Wi-Fi is really good. (-) Stream at the shower is very low, but got hot water. (+) They have storage space for fair price. (-) Cleaning could be better.

Simply the best place to stay in Cancún. I loved my stay there.

Unfortunately, this hostel was my worst experience in 2 weeks in Mexico. The staff is very friendly but everything is very old and dirty 😞 people smoking inside downstairs. Perhaps this is what you get for the price, I cannot recommend it nevertheless.

Had a booking here last week, but when we showed up the hostel was closed and noone around. We ended up having to find another place last minute. We walked by it a few more times during our stay in cancun, and it looks like they're doing renovations. I don't see anywhere on their website that they're closed, however. I'm hoping they're not still taking bookings. Have tried to get in touch with them but no response

A lot of the reviews here must be fake. It is old, smelly, mouldy and far of everything.
