The apartment was so dirty my husband compared it to a place he paid £4 in Thailand. No loo roll, spill stains all over the walls, someone elses hair all over the floor and toilet seat. The apartment was described as a loft, its on the 1st floor so is not as described either.

Very safe and well structured place to stay. Security is very good with all who enter. There are some super nice shops down the road and being so close to the ferry opens up so much more to do!

Excellent location, peaceful and family friendly ambiance.

We rented a very ample 2 bedroom apartment on an eleven floor building. It overlooked the nicely kept kept trees plants and walkways. Plenty of lighting and the place feels very secure, with two checkpoints before driving to the building . Overall this is great place to enjoy solace from the rat race.

The grounds are well kept and beautiful. The pool and pool area is exceptional. Will definitely return. The Ferry to Isla Mujeres is 3 very short blocks away.

This is the best places we have stayed in Mexico. It's got a wonderful view of the ocean from the balcony and has very good security. All essential shops are nearby and it is very close to the ferry. We booked through Airbnb and completely enjoyed our stay here.

We love our stay at Amara. Big apartment with an amazing view. The pool is the best I have ever seen in Cancun. Grounds are clean and well taken care of. Security really checks everyone to make sure all the residents are safe.

Great condo building. The common areas are nice. There is a great restaurant across the sand and walking distance. Enjoyed the stay!

Airbnb. Lovely location and great pool. Kitchen equipment was lacking. One pot, one pan. The only real issue is the howling noises from the wind that is a architecture design problem.

Amara is an amazing residence located right on the Beach. The pool is fantastic to spend the day and the area is very big. You will definitely enjoy your stay!!

Perfect at this price point. Great ocean view. Gorgeous grounds. Large pool. Pleasant and helpful host. Security is tight. The only inconvenience for me is a small, clear security bracelet guests are required to wear to distinguish them from residents.

Lovely place. They are doing a great job with Covid guidelines. It’s clean, nice amenities, an amazing pool, and a private beach. Nice views, security service it’s really good. I recommend this place. Location it’s perfect

The condos are individually owned, so your mileage may vary with the condo you rent. As far as the complex, it is very secure, with guards on patrol 24/7, but you'll need to at least speak and understand rudimentary Spanish to stay there, as none of the guards speak English. The pool is very large and nice, but the beach here is not usable (due to rocks, trash, broken glass, and seaweed). You'll probably need a car to get around, (or pay for a lot of cabs) as you aren't near the hotel zone.
