I’m 7 months pregnant and flew in for a funeral. This place should be shut down !!! It was dirty a they literally told us to leave early because we had our balcony door open because the AC didn’t work!!! The manger even called the police! This place is racist an inconsiderate! It felt like a scam Considering we paid to stay til Tuesday! Once I opened the door with all my luggage the short Arabian man spit on the door!!! If I could give this place a 0 I would !!! I’ll never ever stay here again! As if the screams a fighting all night from other people wasn’t enough. These people treat African Americans like dogs! DO NOT STAY HERE

The location is convenient, however the bedding was stained, dirty, and covered in hair, and the floor had many food crumbs and visible dust piles upon check in. Despite the fact that the room was not clean, a staff member entered our room while we were out enjoying the city and turned off the AC in our third floor room in the middle of summer (not doing other tidying- just turned off the AC) so that after spending a long, hot day outside, we came home to over 100 degree temps. We checked out early to avoid staying a second night, when we politely (I swear to God, we were polite and non-confrontational with this 😂❤️) informed the front desk of our cleanliness worries, she shrugged it off and didn't even apologize. I wouldn't recommend trying this place out 😬

For almost $300 a night, you'd expect something really nice, right? The room was extremely small. There were people smoking in the stairs. The beds were awful. I was exhausted and had a flight out at 4am which is the only reason I stayed vs finding a better hotel.

{Positives} * Cheap for it's location! Right next to all the fancy hotels & surrounded by tons of restaurants and just a walk away from all major buildings. The cost of my entire 4 day stay here would get me about 1 night at neighboring hotels. * Despite it's location right next to a busy road, the only cars I would ever hear was cops & ambulances blaring their sirens. * Friendly staff. Lady at the front desk made sure all my questions were answered and that I knew all the policies / where I could smoke right from the get-go! * Rooms are decently clean. I had new towels and the bed was made every day. {Neutral} * Hotel doesn't provide things like shampoo or conditioner. But, it's a Motel 6. Rooms are cheap so I can't really expect the best of the best. * The porcelain of my sink was smashed, it didn't cause me too much grief and probably would be easy for them to fix. {Negatives} * I'm quite sure I ordered a room with 2 beds, but me and my buddy just shared instead of making a big fuss about it. * After waking up I'd discover some sort of bug bite on my arms. (The only part of me exposed at night, since I sleep in t-shirts and long sweatpants). Not sure if they were bed bugs because I checked the day I got into the room and didn't see any.

There's a hidden cost: $15 daily for parking. If you lose the parking permit, replacement is $20. There's also a $100 deposit just in case you break or steal something. There is no coffee pot in the rooms, but there's one in the lobby. I was there for five days, and I never found any creamer.

I stayed in a really nice deluxe room. Located near MARTA civic station, walking distance to main attractions.

Rooms are not worth the money.. should be more like 30 dollars a night...not very clean smelly..but the security is the only good thing. Your not going anywhere in that place with out a key..that's the only good thing about it.

The staff was friendly and helpful, this review should NOT reflect poorly on them. The room was best described as "bare bones" with no rugs and nothing on the wall. It didn't have a closet just a small shelf with hangers that was placed over the microwave/fridge unit so nothing could be hung up. I had to request a hair dryer and was given a wall mounted one that was awkward to use because it wasn't mounted. I had to request hot cups that could be used in the microwave. The bed was old and lumpy and had only 1 thin blanket and a stained cover with holes in it. I requested an extra blanket which the staff happily gave me but it also was old and had holes. The room overlooked the highway and there was traffic noise 24/7. There was a long crack in the stucco in the bathroom wall. The microwave, refrigerator and tv all worked but there was no outlet near the bedside table to charge my devices. I prefer to have my phone next to me while travelling. Rugs and art would have been nice but the state of the bedding, mattress and not being able to hang up my clothing had a significant impact on my stay. I wouldn't be choosing Motel 6 again.

Middle Eastern lady who checked me in said I would get my deposit back if I didn't steal anything, I didn't appreciate that statement and found it to be a stereotypical/racist statement, however, rooms where clean and seemed to be newly renovated, but still old looking and not new. They did have a microwave and nice size refrigerator. They had HBO and Cinemax with Direct TV. There was an elevator also. I had to change rooms because the heat wasn't working in 301, and the room I switched to 309, the deadbolt was missing off the door to the balcony. The black ladies I encountered later at the front desk were nice and helpful, and the location was walking distance from restaurants, stores, and located next to an enterprise rental office. Security cameras were also located throughout the building and there was a balcony. Wasn't bad for a motel 6.

Avoid this place if you can get other hotel for same price. I chose this as it's closer to Georgia aquarium and world of coca cola. Room was not clean and we could see dirt and torn spots. Towel also had similar dirt marks. You have to pay 15$ parking which was a surprise for me. Mr Ben was really kind and helpful that's the only good about this place. I will never recommend or visit here again.

Staff was great! Had a problem with the TV and they fixed it within 10 minutes of me calling. Great location. Housekeeping could do better job cleaning.

Overall it was a good experience from what the hotel actually had control over, but the room itself had barely passable mattresses and the paint was peeling. Also I am not happy that the parking pass that I had to buy wasn't included in the reservation cost for everything instead of learning about it when checking in the first day. Overall though I got what I paid for in the room cost so I can't really complain about that since I was barely in there but to sleep at night and unwind if I started to experience a sensory overload. I just wish the price of the parking pass would have been added into the reservation and not added in at check-in.

It's seems as tho they have a scheme going, finding reasons to legally ask you to leave the property, so that they can keep your deposit..I was told I would be asked to leave if my dog urinates anywhere on the premises again. Thing is this is the fist time I had been told that he has to go completely off the property to urinate. They sit around looking at cameras all-day because they live there,(owners) searching for violations and reasons to make threats!!!! Trust me save yourself the worration and just stay somewhere else please and it's nasty, sunken in beds, you can feel the springs through the mattress.

The owner was extremely rude and inconsiderate Me and my family was STUCK in the elevator for about 8 minutes burning up. Luckily we was able to force the door open as NONE of the buttons where working to move floors or open the door. When we got off the elevator was off balance with the floor. The OWNER would not grant us a extension or discount and told the front office worker NO. The the way the front office act when we called to tell them we was stuck was like they was use to it getting stuck. The OWNER is dangerous as he don't seem to care about people lives. Also I wad charge a total price higher than what wad on booking. It was blamed on taxes but I never had that issue before anywhere else

The hotel staff is very helpful with anything you many need like clean towels and soaps , just ask nicely if you need a replacement because they can be dirty sometimes from what the reviews say..You should bring an extra towel just in case as well as cleansing wipes because they didn’t pick up the last person(s) soap in the shower tray from the previous stay . The floors/bathroom should have been swept more but for the price , it’s good for one nights or fly outs if you aren’t staying long . Tv channels are okay . Avoid the elevator until they say it’s fixed with a permit . No drones allowed and $10.00 if you have an guest(extra car)parked. No breakfast, or gym. Clean bed . Microwave avail . Ice machine avail . Snack machine avail but bring your own

Our stay was comfortable in the room and staff was friendly. Overpriced, Sketchy area after dark. Elevator needs updated. Charges a $100 extra deposit and $15 non refundable fee for parking. Couldn’t use the fridge due to nasty mess.

The rooms are nice. Location is good . You can walk to Georgia Aquarium , Coke factory etc...it looks scary on the outside but rooms or nice. The bed was lumpy and had springs sticking out of it. You get what you pay for I guess.

You get what you pay for it was a good sized room, bed was somewhat comfy. Good location as it is close to attractions. Liked that they had a closed off parking area felt better knowing my car was parked in a secure area. Staff was friendly and helpful. Tv did cut off every 30 mins but not a huge issue.

The pictures on their website are FALSE ADVERTISEMENT for what the motel looks like now. I stayed in room 315 and it was HORRIBLE. The floor was mushy in some spots and the flooring was broken and lifted up in others. The bathroom had mold or mildew on the ceiling. Every time I left the room and came back my door key would not work and I had to go back downstairs to get a new one.

It's the cheapest hotel in the area, but you don't lose much. Close to downtown, feels safe, clean room (albeit older), clean floor, heat and a/c both efficient and quiet, good shower pressure, nice staff at check-in. Worth saving a few bucks that can be used on our trip instead.

The staff was very kind and helpful when I had any questions. The room was very clean and welcoming to stay in. It was definitely a great location because of how close it was to everything like Restaurants and Bars etc. I highly recommend this Motel to those visiting Atlanta area for vacation or even work travel! I look forward to possible future bookings at this location for sure because there pricing is pretty amazing too.

The Motel 6 in downtown Atlanta was surprisingly clean and safe. The receptionist was nice and helpful. Why do I write clean and safe? because you can't say that about a Motel 6 near the Atlanta airport. There you prayed to survive the night.

Reserved a disability room and when I checked in they didn't have any 😠. Then they held a $100 deposit and I was not informed about that when I made the reservation. On top of that, I had to pay $15 for parking and they charged $18. Not happy.

Staff was great. Lady at desk helped with directions. Rooms were old run down in need of desperate update. Got a contact high from second hand weed smoke walking to our King Room. TV channel selection was not great. Wall outlets not near bed. My wife and I slept almost fully clothed. It sounded like being at a racetrack all night from the Atlanta Street Racers or emergency vehicles screaming by. We stayed because my brother in law booked ahead of time for the SEC Championship. Never again we are washing clothes and boiling everything else. Oh lastly we were woke up at 5:00 by some dude beating on our door. Said he had wrong room.

Located in the center of downtown many places to eat and all the major attractions are within 2 miles of motel. Right off interstate and easy to find. Will definitely stay here again. One great perk is $15 a day parking in a locked garage. Cant beat it considering it's $40 or $50 a day at other motels.

If I could give this place negative stars I would. I was planning on being out in the city late and enjoying the night life until about 2 AM when I come back to the hotel and my card that the women in the front gave me didn’t even work. I would try to get it in multiple times and I wasn’t able to reach someone until 5 AM. That means that I was left to wander the city for about 3 hours and the next day of my vacation I would be sleep deprived. Overall awful experience.

My group booked 3 rooms 2 nights in a row. Upon the 1st nights check in the young lady at the front desk (her first night on the job) was unable to locate the online booking even with the confirmation paperwork. We paid for the first night with the understanding that this would get worked out when she had help figuring it out. Now Motel 6 is refusing to refund the amount DOUBLE PAID. I cannot get a manager or Mr Patel to call me back and fix this matter. Double paid! I'm furious

My key card didn’t work most of the time. Staff was nice however the owner needed to show his authority by calling the police to bully us into leaving . After being stuck in his elevator for some time. My stay at the motel 6 wasn’t pleasant. Simply because the owner had a nasty attitude.

Perfect price when compared to the other hotels in the area. decent location: was only a .5mile from the World Congress Center and Mercedes Stadium. ~15min ride by scooter. Great service.

I will never use this motel ever again.. i would rather pay a couple more dollars to stay in a better hotel that will treat me like im welcome. This motel receptionist at check made me feel like im not welcome there.. then the room had to ask for clean sheets the wall in bath room had water between the paint and wall itself.. i gave it an star for the price. Also for the morning receptionist that made me feel very welcome when i left.. would i Recommend it to anyone to use that motel.. H*ll No!!

Would not recommend unless its your final last resort. My first room had city roaches in it. The climate control was dirty and dust covered filters were dirty. Found stains on bed sheets. All dresser drawers were dirty. They moved to another room and it was less dirty but still dirty. Had no hot water for 2 nights. Elevator was out of service and from what i heard had been for several weeks. They charge $15 a night just to park there. They have balconies but don't allow smoking on them. Like what's the point then. Only stayed because I already paid and no available hotels in the area.

This place is sooo clean! The staff are friendly. It’s quiet. Parking is private underground. They do add parking fee but I think it’s worth it.Walkable to all the hot spots downtown. The only downside is that there are a lot of homeless down the street but I’ve never seen them come in the parking lot. I would definitely stay here again.

  • 2/5 Amber W. 2 years ago on Google
The balcony needed updates you could tell it was shaky and broken apart at the wall only one of the 3 lock devices worked for the balcony which i also didn’t like. The linens seemed clean thankfully but the floors and walls needed updates you could literally hear everything outside and in the hall. The elevator was broken unfortunately parking is underground so that was a good bit of stairs. Also you have to PAY for parking which I didn’t like. The good part about our stay was the staff was amazing super friendly and helpful. They seemed to try to keep everything as neat as they could under the conditions and also it was in walking distance or a short drive of everything and that was a huge plus.

I was there for one night while I was in town and it was an affordable, adequate motel with friendly staff. Especially Mr. Ben. Can’t go wrong!

  • 4/5 J A. 2 years ago on Google
It’s a motel 6 so obviously it’s nothing fancy but still pretty good. The staff were very friendly and helpful and it was the best pricing I could find. The bed was pretty comfy too.

I’ve stayed here many times and never had any serious problems until this day. Unfortunately, the room I was given on June 26, 2023 had bedbugs. That was room number 321. The front desk was able to accommodate me and moved me to another room, which was number 324. They did not, however, offer me any sort of discount or compensation for the trouble. I will not be staying here again.

I have never had such such a disrespectful and horrific visit at this hotel. First of all I came from NC into Atlanta on mission work along with vacationing. We as grown patrons ana out of town visitors should not have to be treated in such a manner as I was treated. After a certain point I could not get in my room unless I ring doorbell and then the clerk would not let my consumers in with me because she was being bias and judgemental due to the fact some of my consumers that I came into town to prpprcess were homeless. Part of my goal and focus to arrive in Atlanta is because of the populated homeless rate and these people seek casual asistance. The front desk last goes on to tell me there's was NO accompanist after 11p -7a...mins you I'm entitled to A GUEST iny room regardless of the status and we'll being of an individual. She denied me bringing my consumer into MY ROOM WHICH I PAID !!! So I had to alternate my processing with two client at two different times to have discussions and counseling with them in my car. Tell me we are grown adults ...what hotel disallows paid partons not to have company. Either of these attempts were not disruptive issues...she jus seen that they were homeless being judgemental decides I can't do what I I needed to do ...AFTER explaining to the font desk lady on what misson I was on..After morning shift came in i received a call about 8:50 a asking me to leabe tje premises or the police will be called ad it is then i will be charged with trespassing! I asked the first shiftan at front desk on what terms am I being asked to leave the premises because neither time was there ANY disturbing reports or complaints!!! He went on to say I had three different companies who are homeless and I need to leave no other reasonable explanation provider.... At this point I'm devastated because I had came from North Carolina have to put my stuff back in the car and find another hotel that was scheduled to stay till Friday.. he called corporate cancelled my extended stay. Thankfully I was able to go straight to another motel and check in immediately after this disaster.... I've never been treated like this in any hotel anywhere and I was not provided any profound explanation as to why i had to leave other than I had three different visitors overnigh periodically..... As I forstated stated...there was never any complaintslllllneother time that my accompanist leave my room at any reason...neither was there any visual disturbance I don't understand how you going to keep visitors specially from another the right to have a guest this issue cause very distress when I was denied having guest because they were judging them becausel of their livelihood!!!!!
