Sa'Mesa is one of a kind. You won't find anything else like this place in Bali. I had an amazing dining experience at Sa'Mesa before the NYE. I went here solo and didn't feel alone nor lonely at all. Fellow guests were amazing. We had a lot of fun and laugh. Paco & team were super welcoming and made me feel at home. Foods were great and had an A-class quality. There were a lot of varieties and courses. The price is worth the experience and the food. I wish a great success and an awesome 2022 for Sa'Mesa!

I'll give a VERY honest review despite all the hype about this place. 1. Management: I'll say this is the worst part of this restaurant. More specific, the speech master, Bruce, he didn't greet me at all when I just arrived there. But, he greeted other guests, which already ruined my mood even before the dinner. And he passed me by several times, but no greeting. I don't know, maybe because I was a local solo guest. But, that behavior was SO rude. I hope he reads this and will not treat a guest that way in the future. 2. Food: compared to the price, the food is just so average. There was nothing special. There are lots of better restaurants in the same area, even with lower prices. I thought after the speech master treat me horribly, I was hoping that the food taste would lighten up my mood, but it was a big no no. 3. Social: the only good aspect about this place. It was quite fun for me and the other guests where very nice. We chatted and danced a lot. 4. Interior design: it's not a very Instagramable place a.k.a the interior design is far from good So, in conclusion, I'll not go back to this place and i'll not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Without a doubt one of the best restaurants I've been to in my life! Warm welcome, the concept is just awesome. Everything was absolutely perfect. Only positives vibes, good music & warm guests! The cocktails are to die for! Not to mention that endless food. And don't be afraid to be hungry it's impossible, there is something for everyone and for all tastes. It was as delicious as it was beautiful! If you are in Bali, I clearly recommend the address, we celebrated with the whole table (the free flow limoncello certainly had something to do with it haha)

Fantastic experience. Kudos to our host Alessandro. He made the experience all the more memorable. For readers, this is not your normal ala carte Italian restaurant. You would be hosted in an old fashion family styled dining where everyone would be seated by a long table and served. The atmosphere is ecstatic especially when once strangers are now friends.

Definitely one of the most unique experience we ever had! Honestly didn’t expect it to be communal dining style but we had a blast. Food was amazing, ambiance and vibes were one of a kind and the owners and staffs were friendly :) left the place happy with our bellies full!

Had “mini sa’mesa” with our big friend group yesterday, and it was a great experience! Paco is an excellent and very vibrant host who gives you that “traditional Italian family” experience. I’ve been in Bali for over a year, and am confident to say the chicken was the best I had here! The chef and staff makes an extra effort in presentation of the 12 courses we had, and not a single item was out of place - both in looks and taste. Great wines as well. Definitely recommend this experience!👌

I went here to the one in Canggu with a couple of friends, we asked to be seated outside. The foods were all good. We can taste the freshness and the quality of the foods. It was 18 courses (I honestly lost count). The atmosphere was very lively. We were dancing to the music halfway to the course. I think the freeflow of limincello helped alot. We were fortunate that the other guests were friendly. The service is also excellent. I went here for my birthday, and they gave me a cake as well as flaming cocktail. Wow!! The host Roberta was very engaging. We thoroughly enjoy the presentation of the food as well as the performance that came along with it. It’s a must try for foods and experience!

Definitely an interesting concept. More of a “dinner cabaret”, a spectacle of food, dancing, Italian lifestyle and lots of limoncello shots. Until you notice that some of the patrons are working for the restaurant to spread the good vibes, which leaves a bit of a strange after taste. About the food. Overall all right, although we had the feeling that the chef may have forgotten the use of salt on some dishes. Also, sitting on a common table is not for everyone. If you’re an introvert or rather spend a quiet night, it’s not the place for you.

A+ food, A+ vibe and Paco gets an A- as a host. Just kidding he also gets A+! So many delicious antipastos as soon as we sat down. Multiple limoncello shots and amazing pastas. The chicken satay was also a standout.

Absolute legends! What a fun concept and one that you’re going to leave thinking, “I should open a restaurant like this in my own country.” They make it look so effortless. I went in solo and made friends just like they promised! The food is creative, beautifully plated, and delicious. It’s kind of one of those places you go in, drink a lot, eat a lot, and laugh a lot with strangers and friends. It’s also VERY organized. Bruce is a wonderful host! (Thanks for putting me on the spot!) I’ll probably come back with my friends next week. Highly recommend!

What a viiiibe! Atmosphere was incredible. Solo travelling so decided to head here and make some friends for a night, and it did not disappoint. The food kept flowing as well as the drinks and laughs, ending up with dancing on the tables! Loved the food and experience. One thing I would say - please provide free water for guests!

WHAT A VIBE THIS PLACE WAS!! Without a doubt, one of the best restaurants we’ve visited in Caangu. The photo was off the charts by the end of the night, we were all on the table! The free flowing lemoncellos were amazing!!🤌🏻🤌🏻 I was getting them poured down my mouth by the end! Would definitely come back for their polenta…:: And lemoncellos 😅 Come as strangers, leave as friends.

It was fun dining!! First we arrived we have to wait until 7.30 until they’re ready to serve all the food on the dining table! There will be a host who will help you during dinner! And when it’s already 7.30 the host will informed you loudly standing on chair and was funny as well! 🤭😬 the ambiance superb! And food definitely was yummyyy! But make sure to not eaten anything yet before you go here! Cause the food there is never ending! A lot of Appetizers and you will have a break for couple minutes, put the music loud so you can move and dance abit before the main course 🫣! Of course the main course was absolutely amazinggg! Tasty and unique 🤤🤤 all yummssss! And last but not least! A lot of LIMONCELLOOOO 🥴

Yesterday I was at brunch and wanted to leave a negative review. It was my second visit to Sa’Mesa, and I have always recommended this experience to friends and newcomers on the island, but now I'm unsure. Yes, the food was delicious, but the service and hosts were very disappointing. My friends gave me flowers, and I sat with them for about 5 minutes until I had to call the waiter myself and ask to put them in a vase. Also, the waiters didn't keep track of the limoncello shots; I had to constantly call them and ask for refills. The hosts didn't create any atmosphere at all; they were constantly sitting separately and chatting among themselves, and they left the dinner before desserts. Last time, the host actively introduced everyone, joked, initiated dances, and was always with the guests. Lastly, the final bill was 650 instead of 550, as I was told; nowhere was it indicated that the dinner price was subject to additional tax. This experience is definitely not worth this money.

Went I was in Bali I had the pleasure of dinining at Sa’Mesa Restaurant in the heart of Canggu, and I can confidently say it was an unforgettable experience. The foods are all amazing. They won’t let you go home hungry I tell you!!! I left with a full belly, a happy heart and a promise to return when I’m back to Bali. If you’re in Canggu and seeking more than just a meal, but an experience that nourishes the soul, Sa’Mesa is the place to be. Don’t be surprised if you come in as stranger and leave as a friend; that’s the magic of Sa’Mesa Restaurant 🤍🤍🤍🤍

Most amazing dining experience of my life! There were like 18 different dishes and all the food was AMAZING! Beyond that, the experience was incredible. Lots of limoncello was served and socialization was encouraged. My husband and I had such a blast there and it was definitely our favorite dinner in Canggu. HIGHLY recommend and don’t want to say too much more without spoiling the experience!

I loved our experience here! The food was amazing from start to finish! They were even really good with catering for our different requirements in our group! we had SO much food and left stuffed!! Only negative for me was that dessert felt very rushed! At this stage people were on the tables dancing and I couldn’t sit and enjoy / share desserts properly and this is my favourite part of a meal!! But everything else was amazing!

Best dining experience in Canggu hands down! The concept of communal dining is exceptionally presented, with multiple dishes being served including free-flowing limoncello all night long. The staff and servers are extremely friendly and make you feel like you’re at home. Towards the end of the evening everyone starts getting to know each other and the party starts with dancing on the table, socialising and many drinks going down the hatch! It’s truly an experience for everyone to enjoy that combines many parts for a truly amazing evening.
