It is a British pub that opened in Canggu in November 2021. I love the atmosphere, design brining British vibes. Very spacious and there is a playroom which placed a pocket ball table so when you come with friends you may enjoy some games. The owner and staffs are so friendly and kind which makes you want to stay here. They have various selection of drinks including draft beer. It’s hard to find draft IPA in Canggu but they have! It’s from black sand brewery which is a local beer company. I’ll definitely visit again soon.

New Gastropub that we’ve been waiting to open. We came for the Sunday roast which was good. 5 beers on tap and UK pints! The place is really well designed. Got the British pub style but elevated it for Canggu. The staff were all excellent, especially considering how new the place is. We will be back.

The Barn, early January 2022. A lovely spot in Canggu to get away from the rush. Food is top notch, beer is fresh, staff is attentive and friendly. I'm told they have a DJ from 9pm Fri/say nights. I'll certainly be back. Ask for Tikka!

Nice place and nice staffs, especially Joana (aka Dinda) - she was so helpful and very friendly ❤️ The taste and portion was very worth the money. We ordered fish & chip , lasagne, mac n cheese, sticky toffee pudding, elderflower elixir and hot chocolate. Joana told us they have 20% of every Tuesday and happy hour! Surely will come back for more ❤️

Out of the way in batu baking but definitely worth the drive. The food is classic English fare. The recommendation is go for the Sunday dinner. You get your choice of pork, beef of chicken. I've tried both pork and beef and they are delicious. Go for the extra large size for 55k more and you will have your fill, maybe even good for two people if you don't usually eat much. Good selection of beers. Nice crowd. They're is a pool table of that is your fancy. One eating is not cheap, came out to about 800k for two people for 2 extra large Sunday dinners and a draft bet for each. Money well worth didn't in my opinion. Snow parking, nice staff.

Amazing food and drinks every time I come here. All the proper British pub classics alongside pizzas, pastas burgers etc. The Sunday Roasts are the best in Bali (and i've had a lot). Great vibe and friendly staff who always make you feel welcomed like you're a regular at a pub at home. Good place to come on a Friday for the 241 cocktails when the upstairs bar opens til late. Also good place to watch sports on the numerous big screens.

All around great experience. The indoor/outdoor design of the pub was great. Food was on point. I had the caramelized meat pie, perfectly cooked with a healthy size of gravy on the side. Perfect place to enjoy a pint watch a sports game and get some comfort food. 👌🏽👌🏽

This bar is absolutely a gem. Walk down a small path and you'll find a great non-pubbish British pub! We stumbled upon it close to midnight. We had 3 cocktails between the 2 of us — a boulevardier, strawberry daiquiri (asked for not too sweet!) and gin sour. All fantastic plus the boulevardier was smokey af. BANDI, the bar captain, is an absolutely personable, promising and warm lad. A must visit in Canggu away from the raucous main street ;) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Tucked in cheeky Canggu Bali, this barn, as its given name The Barn Gastropub, reminded me my "olden" days in England. I seldom popped in pubs, since I don't really drink beer. But pub isn't only for beer drinkers, it's where you mingle with colleagues and friends, and sometimes you can find really scrumptious dishes. This place is meant for those who crave British classics like Sunday Roast, Bangers n Mashes, etc. You know.. nothing fancy but hearty British foods your belly will be so comforted for days at least. According to my husband, he enjoyed Sunday roast. It was served with every bits of what roast has to offer; carrots, pumpkin, meat, fine beans, potatoes, cauliflower, horseradish sauce, and Yorkshire pudding. Due to dietary restrictions, I don't eat meat-packed dish. But some veggies on the plate was good and well cooked. Though Yorkshire Pudding, it seems rather dry. Quite chewy too. Not many options for vegetarians or pescatarians. Well, to be fair, they offer vegetarian roast, but I wasn't in the mood for that. Instead, I ordered calamari which was lightly fried, but well I didn't see the point of serving greasy kale leaves - obviously deep fried - with this. Gimlet wasn't bad. It was quite dry, which I liked it. Quite a punch on citric aspect. Good amount of lime. But I think foods and ambience in overall are compatible with beer. To finish up the meal, we ordered another British Classic Sticky toffee pudding. It wasn't bad, BUT, i can tell the sauce and pudding burnt a bit. Aftertaste was more than caramelised. If you like classic British foods at affordable price, not a bad place to try. But if you like something similar but a bit more fine-dining touch, Mason in the neighborhood isn't a bad option.

I can't comment on the food as we only had a drink, but it's in a nice spot, slightly off the main drag (for now) in Canggu. Lovely looking place, mostly in the style of an English barn pub. I had a very nice Bloody Mary, and my husband enjoyed his IPA. Premier League Football clips were on the various screens. Assuming they show live games - if so, it's a perfect venue for it; large and airy with plenty of cosy nooks to settle into. We were there at about 4.00pm and we were the only ones there but by the time we left 40 minutes later people were arriving in for the evening. Live music was advertised for 8pm. We walked past later and the music sounded good and the atmosphere was much busier. Would go back when in Canggu.

We came here on a Sunday to watch the F1 race. The food was highly disappointing! We order the Sunday roast and decided to make it an XL. It came out and had one slice of roast beef and a slice of fatty pork meat (where was the XL we ordered) The Sunday roast comes with many sides which were all lacking any flavor. Definitely would not come back here on a Sunday. Other food on the menu might be good but we didn’t get a chance to try it. The atmosphere is good and the servers are all friendly so that’s why I gave the two stars. There are much better restaurants/food in Canggu than this place 👎🏼

Great pub! We went for a Sunday roast here and it was amazing. We've been to some of the best roasts in London and the UK and this was up there with them. 100% recommend

Don’t miss their happy hour! 59K for cocktails and a pint of beer! Thrilled with my experience at The Barn in the heart of Canggu! The cozy ambiance, warm lighting, and friendly staff created a perfect setting. The cocktails were expertly crafted, showcasing a blend of local flavors. This gem captures the essence of Canggu, making it a must-visit for those seeking a relaxed and memorable evening.

Recently visited The Barn Gastrobar in Bali and it was such a delightful experience! The atmosphere of the place is really welcoming and cozy, making it a great spot for hanging out with friends or enjoying a casual meal. The British pub-style food was absolutely delicious – the Sunday roast is a must-try! Also, the range of craft beers and cocktails is impressive. The staff were super friendly and attentive, adding to the overall great vibe of the place. Definitely a gem in Bali for anyone looking for a taste of classic pub food in a relaxing setting. Highly recommend checking it out!

The best pub in Bali. Feels like home! Amazing British pub food, the nicest cocktails and great atmosphere. Would highly recommend the espresso martinis , the Sunday roasts and fish and chips.

Exceptional Sunday Roast here at a reasonable price! (250K) The pub itself has a very authentic upmarket British pub feel to it and really made me feel like I was at home! Highly recommend to anyone!

The BEST Sunday roast I have ever had. Even beats ones from back home 😜 The go to spot in Canggu if you are craving home comforts. Literally perfect 🥰

Excellent Sunday roast with proper Yorkshire puds. The beef wasn’t quite as tasty as the lamb shank, but was still good.

We watched the football with pints and then had a classic Sunday roast the next day with a group of avid roast eating English people. The comments around the table were very much about how excellent the roast is in comparison to a homemade classic. Great for the people who need a home comfort every now and then when they're travelling, as you'd think you were back in the UK.

Solid Sunday roast. Had the beef one week and lamb the next. Beef looked good but a little underwhelming, the lamb was excellent. Big portions with good yorkshires and trimmings too. Overall quite expensive once tax and service added but worth the treat.

Great service and great food at the barn gastropub! I had the bangers and mash and tasted like it was from back home. Putu was especially accommodating to us and a lovely guy. Would recommend this place to anyone who wants home comforts in canggu!

Came all the way to Canggu just for the sunday roast because I heard its the best in Bali!? Did not disappoint. First sunday roast, and I love it! Would definitely come back to try more from the menu! Interior is also immaculate. Happy happy! Was charged the wrong amount however the lovely Rosa went above and beyond, and kindly gave me the correct change. Staff are all super on it :)

Place quite good in crowded canggu, can be very loud with people watching sport on TV. I'm looking for improvement on the food. Service is good and place is quite comfy with its good atmosphere.

A delicious meal, great atmosphere. We were here for a Premier League night, bonus. And absolutely outstanding service. First place we have been in Bali that paced appetizers and mains (not a huge deal, but a nice touch). Worth a visit to this well designed pub, on a quiet side street.

We came here after dinner for beer and turn out we ordered more food and.. we finished it, because the taste was good. Food : Chicken wings : Good. Taste a bit diffrent in a good way… I think they use clove and nutmeg for the wings Pasta : really good. Our Indonesian tastebud like it 🤣. Taste wasn’t plain like other pasta we ate in Italian restaurant in Bali. We Went to 2 Italian restaurant this week. Pie of the day was caramelized beef and onion. Served with mash potato and veggies. Everything was GOOD! Even the veggies. Apple crumble : Really Good! Beer : sweet and refreshing! Love it. We came around 7.30 to 9 pm, the place was kids Kids friendly. They have few games guests can try.

A lovely bit of home. An English style pub in Canggu which really gets the essence of UK pub food and vibe. 100% recommend them, especially on a Sunday for their absolutely amazing roasts but also on a weekday for some pub grub. Pool table and other fun games as well. The staff are also so lovely and attentive which really adds to the vibe. Highly recommend!
