Highly recommend visiting this restaurant. Excellent and attentive service, delicious cocktails using house made spirits, but most memorable was the incredible flavours in the starters and mains, and the ambience created by the live acoustic musician. The venue was packed and everyone was enjoying the talented performer. The night was made even more memorable by the special gesture for my partners birthday ❤️ Thank you Chow Chow for an unforgettable dining experience.

Absolutely amazing! Right after I came I was pleasantly surprised that it's happy hour (5pm - 6pm) and all food prices are 50% off! It was very affordable and I'm full even until now! I ordered Korean steak, some vegetables, orange juice and as a desert I ordered caramelized pear. I at first, while I was waiting for food got some small snack, I don't know what was it, but it was pretty tasty, a little bit spicy. The food was made really well and I really enjoyed it. The staff was kind the whole time, they asked me multiple times if I like the food and were always there to provide any help. I could pay by card.

Chow Chow serves up an interesting Japanese fusion that hits more than it misses. The wagyu tacos and wagyu crisps were both great. I also had the Tom Yum rice, which was a great idea for a dish but just needed to pack a little more Tom Yum flavour. The cocktail vary from good to average, with most lacking the alcoholic punch we were looking for.

Celiac - Zöliakie- Gluten free Usually it’s really hard to find something with gluten free soy sauce or fish etc as celiac - so i really liked it ❣️🙏😊 I had sushi 🍱😍👌 with wasabi - etc and gf soya sauce ❤️‍🔥🙏❣️☝️ new favorite restaurant in Canggu - no symptoms - all gf - see video - also had edamame 🫶

Amazing food, amazing service and great atmosphere. Really affordable too for the lunch menu poke bowls. Even served a complimentary amuse bouche! Would highly recommend the wagyu tacos, ceviche and Vietnamese salad - thanks Gunggek and the chef is superb.

Amazing experience 10/10 Food quality and selection 5⭐️ Staff 5⭐️ Wait time 5⭐️ Atmosphere 5⭐️ We were welcomed by their warm and friendly staff right upon arrival and the food here easily beats any other food we have had in Bali so far. We ordered the Chow chow buns and Black Cod Miso. I didn’t try the buns but my friend rates them 7-8/10. We also had a small complementary dish (unsure what it was) but it was pretty and delicious. And for my Black Cod Miso, it was an easy 10/10. The chef had prepared the most beautiful black miso sauce that complemented the fish like nothing else. And the fish itself melted in your mouth and tasted fresh and creamy. We also got their homemade Thai iced tea 10/10. Tasty and refreshing. The only thing I would change in this whole experience is to have only 1-2 waitresses serve our table as during our half hour visit, we had 3-4 people serve us. Not a complaint, just a suggestion. This would make it easier to keep track and also to tip. It would be hard to manage if the restaurant was really busy/ short-staffed, but gladly it was neither. Lastly their atmosphere and setting was so unique and artistic you couldn’t help keep looking around. Can’t wait to be back. Shoutout to the chef and great management. Definitely recommended. Don’t miss out.

Went here 3 times already during their soft opening period. They had this promotion of 50% off of all food menu. Their menu consists of modern Asian cuisine, from Chinese, Korean, to Japanese. So far I've tried their City Hunter roll (chicken), Korean Popcorn Chicken, this wagyu slider thingy, this tuna roll which name I forgot, and their Creme Brulee. I personally loved their popcorn chicken and City Hunter roll, they're super delicious and packed with flavours. Pro tip: ask for some mentai sauce and dip the popcorn chicken into it, and mix it with the dipping sauce provided for the popcorn. It tastes a looot better that way! Septi is usually the one serving us, she's very nice, friendly, and accommodating. They clean up our plates once we're done with those without us asking. So that's a plus. The place alone is not very spacious, but chill and cozy with oriental decoration. Will come back for sure!

I shared a poke bowl and a maki roll with my daughter. It was more than enough for two. Food was so fresh and delicious. Service was impeccable. I will be back for sure.

One of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a long time! The food itself was delicious (recommend the wasabi beef tacos), the playlist went off, and the service staff were attentive and kind.

Honestly a waste of time. I don't know where the 4.8 came from. This place is a 2 tops. Food was terrible and drinks watered down. Bali has much better food, don't waste your time here. Miso cod was one dimensional, just sweet. Bao and duck Peking were ok. Shame as the girl serving us was quite sweet but the food is just bad, period.

Honestly really enjoyed out meal in Chow Chow Bali! Food was really good- we also got free appetizers! Would recommend the Beef Rendang pasta, Wonton Soup, Thai Ceviche. The soft tacos with wasabi could’ve been better if there were less sauce and a little less sweet but still generally good flavors! Prices were fair and affordable. Service was really great, and interiors were beautiful!

Bloody outstanding!! Had dinner here last night, so impressed we came back for lunch. The poke bowls are awesome, and I had the Tom yum fried rice for lunch, very yum! Service is exceptional and very good value

Well-deserved reputation as one of the best restaurants in Bali. Worth a visit if you've had your fill of burgers and pizza, and want some good Asian food. We ordered the salt & pepper squid, the black cod miso, and the first of fury creative roll. The squid was very crunchy and flavorful, perfect as an appetizer, while the miso cod was cooked perfectly to flake off with the softest of pressure. The roll was good but not as great as the other two dishes. We also enjoyed our cocktails, which were classics with a twist - I had the lemongrass negroni and my partner had the yuzu spritz.

Chow Chow Bali is an absolute must-visit for Asian fusion lovers. As soon as you walk in, you're welcomed with warm hospitality. Brace yourself for a treasure trove of culinary wonders on their menu. The ceviche, gyoza, and beef rendang tagliatelle are exceptional, bursting with flavours that will blow you away. And to satisfy your sweet tooth, they've got the perfect ending with their delightful pistachio gelato and cheeky panna cotta.

The cod fish is the best, it's so yummy, delicious especially the sauce. Pork ribs is delicious also, the sauce blend perfectly with the baby potatoes. Perfect place for dinner with the band especially they have happy hour for drinks after you have your dinner

Great place with great atmosphere (Bruce Lee movie screen on the wall during our dinner 😎). Food was delicious, we have tried numerous dishes. Chicken gyoza was very good, also really delicious was rendang noodles 🤤 wonton soup was good same with pork belly bao (so soft and juicy - just lacking a bit o something sour in it) same with ceviche, fish was good and sauce was very creamy but need some work. I wish I could try everything from the menu 😉 definitely will be back here next time

Been there twice. Ordered the same thing because i liked it so much the first time: japanese ribs. First visit was excellent. The ribs were so tender i only had to use my chopsticks. Second time not so much. The meat was a bit tough and i had to use knife and fork. Yuzu spritz was great. The mango dessert came out frozen and a little hard to pick up using fork. But taste wise was excellent so i let that go. Nice ambiance reminds you of that complex with peranakan cuisine if you know what i mean. Live music—i wish he sang different tunes but it caters to the general interest so can’t really complaint in that aspect. The place has a projector. Can do some movie nights. Updated: Third visit—black cod miso is amazing! Moist on the inside and lightly grilled on the outside! Yummy! 🤤

This was amazing! From the atmosphere, the service, the food…everything was perfect. Our server GG was so kind and welcoming. We were given a crispy avocado on the house, tried various dishes, and drank teas. Everything was so delicious and we might come back for dinner tomorrow too. Edit: we did in fact come back! Get the ceviche and the spicy salmon crispy rice! So good. Loved trying more things from the menu.

This is by far out favourite restaurant in Bali so far, we loved everything about Chow Chow. Food, drinks, cleanliness, service, vibe, value for money, I would give six stars if I could ☺️ The stand out items were the crispy rice with spicy salmon (the tuna was good too!) the Thai Ceviche, Mahi Mahi bao, yummy! They have a 50% off all food between 3-6pm, too good to be true! Do yourself a favour and get a booking! They have three tables facing the road, I loved sitting here watching the world go by whilst eating and drinking like a queen!

From the moment we arrived we were treated with beautiful smiles and service. The food was all so amazing and delicious and we couldn’t believe the price. Definitely go between 5-6pm for 50% off. Our waitress Suri was so lovely and even gave us a beautiful rose when we left! Could not reccomend more!

Very good food and the happy hour offer is amazing. The spare ribs were delicious and the steak was good too, could have been just a tiny bit more medium done (it was more well done and I ordered medium). The coconut crème brûlée was delicious too! We’re coming back. ☺️

Amazing service, they take great care of their customers every time we go. Their happy hour makes them one of the best deals in Canggu. Febri was my server a few times and every time she’s been super sweet. Can’t recommend this place enough. UPDATE: They removed the 50% off for happy hour and it is now 25% off 😢

The food was really great. we had delicious tacos and a salad for starters. The wagyu steak and ribs for main course. Both the ribs and the steak were very tender and tasted great. The service was very friendly and attentive. The restaurant deserves every one of its 5 stars.
