Just had a lovely dinner at Red Salt Cafe, enjoyed by all including the kids! Burger was very tasty, delicious local beef. The kids shared a smoked chicken pizza that they raved about and the lemon-grass chicken main was truly amazing - very tender and flavoursome with a generous helping. Chocolate brownies and ice cream for dessert really topped things off. The owner is a lovely guy and the staff are friendly. A memorable meal had in stylish but relaxed surroundings.

So, this is not my first time in Red Salt, and I have always enjoyed the food and service here. But I feel the need to drop a medium to bad review today. The food was good quality like always but: 1. The service was poor and the level of English has dropped significantly. I assume these are some cost cutting measures since it's not high season but it still affected my experience. Our breakfast juices arrived way after we finished breakfast but they were good, like always. 2. One of the items on the menu is the Vietnamese spring rolls. 35k for vegetarian and 50k for prawn. We ordered the prawn and we had the great surprise of having one small shrimp each in both the spring rolls. This is seriously not nice... 15k for a shriveled little shrimp is just indecent. Otherwise, food is nice and place is beautiful...

Had a very lovely stay here. Stayed in a hut and it was way better than my expectations. The hut looks amazing and is clean and i love the aesthetic there. Good breakfast and staff was really nice and welcoming as well. Was a nice little getaway from the more hectic canggu.

I went in there on my way back from the Beach. ambience looked great and ended up ordering Balinese Style Chicken.Waitress couldn't tell me if it was free range chicken or not thought it was language barrier but real disappointment begun when the food arrived. It seemed as if the chef couldn't be bothered just flipped a chicken breast on the pan and put it on plate no flavor taste whatsoever for some thing cost 75k. I had better service from 20k local warung. I was expecting at a little bit better service considering I spent over 100K and I was the only customer. No wonder why it's empty 😂 . SPEND YOUR MONEY SOMEWHERE ELSE DEFINITELY NOT WORTH IT

Beautiful location, close to the beach but the food I ordered was way too salty. The staff was friendly but super slow. So I ordered their lemongrass chicken and was blasted with a what seemed like a mouthful of salt. I had to wash off the chicken a bowl of hot water to be somewhat edible. Usually I would have return it but was in a hurry. I hope that the owner will take note and maybe it’s a one off event.

Super nice staff - beautiful room with free breakfast that was a great value for the cost (around €30) - food wasn’t too salty - everything we ate was super tasty. Five minutes from the beach but away from the hubbub and surrounded by rice patties. Definitely would recommend.

No musquito net, and with the sparse holes in the ceiling, you really gotta beware of musquitos! The beds are nice and the hut itself looks really cute! The beda on the pool-side are really comfortable and everything is very clean! Lovely service but the road is filled with rabid dogs 😱

Restaurant is in a quiet location but food was very hit and miss. We had the chicken satay to start which were excellent. Burger was good, but Laksa and the Chicken soups were not good at all. Big very heavy in the salt and the Laksa had so much fish sauce you really couldn't eat it. I am hoping it was just an off night as the other dishes were good and we will give it another go next time we are in the area.

We have stayed in the Villa for 6 days. The services were above the expectations. The location, the villa itself, huge pool, staff and the small café & restaurant is just so amazing. 7 min walking to the beach. The prices in the café are mid range, for the Canggu area very reasonable. There is a scooter rentqal and another restaurant accros the street. We didnt have a problem to order local taxi.
