We had an incredibly dissapointing experience with Kayuma. We booked through Agoda, the payment was taken and booking confirmed. However the day we were meant to arrive we received a message from the owner saying another guest wanted to extend their stay so we would have to move rooms or cancel. I attempted to contact them via phone, email and through Agoda but had no response. When we arrived at the property we were told they could not accommodate us but could take us to another property. This was completely different from the room we had purchased and far away. Sadly would not recommend staying here in case you show up and they decide they don’t have space !

Super Nice hostel with Good location near beach and parties With Kitchen and swimming pool!

A nice guesthouse that’s really close to echo beach and close to many shops and restaurants in that area. The pool is nice as well. The only issue I have is that there is no space at all to sit and relax by the pool - you can really just jump in, swim and jump out. It’s nice that there is a kitchen but the supplies are very limited. Could only find one bowl and all the cups were dirty. But other than that, this was a nice Homestay! The room and bathroom in the double room were clean, spacious and nice. We were not provided with towels, had to ask for one. If you stay in the dorm, you won’t get towels. The bathroom of the double room is much nicer than the dorm bathroom. If you’re two people, I recommend getting the double room as it’s almost the same price as staying in the dorm.

Very good location, just to the left there are La Brisa and Echo Beach. to the right there are many restaurants and bars. very recommended

Stayed my last day/ night in canggu Bali and I wish I known about this guesthouse before then , it was super clean and staff was super helpful and nice definitely recommend

THIS IS TOTALLY SCAM!! I booked on Agoda 14 days and already paid!! when i go there its dark, lock, and scary. It's close since pandemic and their still set advertisement!!! My money doesn't come back and i cant contact the owner they set a random number

I stayed at the Kayuma House during August 2018. I have to said, this place really sums up Canggu. Hip, friendly and easy going. The private rooms are an absolute delight, clean and spacious. The hostel is also close to the beach for those interested in catching a few breaks during mornings. Eka, hostel owner, is an awesome being always helping guests and insuring every thing goes to plan during your stay. Will definitely come back next time in Bali!!

The best place to stay in Bali, located in the heart of Canggu - within short walking distance to the beach, the main streets, bars and restaurants. The most friendly, funny and helpful staff - clean rooms, daily cleaning and relaxing atmosphere.

I stayed Canggu Kayuma House 2 months. When I back to Bali, I will stay there again. I recommend it

Doable, not enjoyable + great location, comfy bed, a refrigerator - ants (never leave any food on the table), mosquitoes after every single cleaning, broken malfunctioning safety deposit box, doors to the bathroom not closable (broken too), disgusting dirty and ripped towels and bedding, WiFi not usable, very very poor

Perfect location, comfy bed, spacious room, great shower. Stayed 4 nights but could have spent a week here. Perfect place to stay if you’re a couple. Wouldn’t recommend to solo travellers because there wasn’t much of a social atmosphere but the property was great :)

A nice hostel, comfortable beds, good air con. Toilets and showers are not the cleanest but you get what you pay for and this place is very cheap. Walk distance from the beach. Not ON the beach though. Has nice cafes around. The pizza place/restaurant/cafe around the corner is very nice, good vibes, very tasty food (has healthy options as well) and has live music.

No thrills budget guest house. Nothing too bad and nothing great about it either. They hiked the price up ridiculously to nearly 10M a month due to how overpopulated canggu is right now. Normally I wouldn't pay more than 5M for this place. Despite the ridiculous price there is no TVs in the rooms and the WiFi uses a captive portal which you have to login sometimes twice a day lol, not fun when you try to use a personal WiFi repeater with a VPN and have to spend 5 mins connecting each time. The outdoor space by the pool is very cramped and not inviting. The staff was nice and the location is good. Normally I wouldn't say anything and move on but to summarise the place isn't worth the money.

Stayed here for over 6 months. Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice and responsive owner. Good room size and working amenities. Very very central. Can walk to the beach.

Best experience in Canggu! Especially the staff, they will help everything you need even for buying something that we cannot! Recommended!

Stayed here twice now. In a dorm for 3 nights then on this trip to Bali had a private room. Both times really good and comfortable. Guess the dorm toilet could be cleaner if I’m being picky. Staff really friendly both times. I would stay again

We stayed here for 1 month. It was so amazing! The location is perfect, near great restaurants and echo beach. The staff here are beyond amazing. The room is cozy and clean, great AC too!

I must say that the staffs here are all super friendly. Like genuinely friendly. Location is just nice if you’re into beach and also super nearby to F45 and Bodyfactory if you’re in for a fitness retreat. Otherwise, just take grab motorbike everywhere - it’s relatively cheap. Note, they provide nice pool area.

I was living in Kayuma Hose 6 months and I can say that this is so good place with great location . There are a lot of restaurants and bars near, also you can get to ocean in 5 minutes by walking. Staff makes cleaning every day. It’s place where you can stay for a long 👍🏻

Love this place. Since the pandemic, it was hard to know if the places are still open or gone, but luckily found this gem! When I was first looking for places I thought they were closed. But luckily I have talked with the local shop owner close by and they have hooked us right in! So if you booked and confused to locate it like me, ask the taxi drivers on the street! If you are staying monthly, I would say perfect place. Since there is no common area and it is quiet, people staying short term are not really using the pool. So the 2 months of staying, I have been jumping in the pool exclusively. Only down side was the not clear street sign for the delivery. Front door is closed and entrance is by the side small drive way. Service is great! They are quite attentive and respond to requests quickly. Bed and sheets are clean, rooms are big, bathroom is spacious and hot water, pressure is good. Air con working and communal kitchen on site. Could help if there is a microwave and kettle. But only ordered food deliveries all the time, cause many good restaurants close by. Location was perfect, since finding a sports bar wasnt as easy. And one of the best sports bar is 2 mins down the road and if you like surfing, beach is 4 mins walk away. Small market on the street, pharmacy, atm and small marts were operating. It was a bit challenging finding a working atm was a bit hard after the pandemic and for a person who didnt ride a scooter like me, everything I needed was within 10 mins walking distance. There is also nice big cafe to work in with good wifi and aircon is really close by.

The place is very fine for the budget price. Spacious room with big bathroom, hot water, new AC, good wifi, good bed with comfortable mattress, fridge. Very close to Echo beach. They have a pool. The young guys running it are very friendly and speak english very well. Only thing I found missing was the missing sign "don't disturb", in case you wanna sleep longer in the morning and the guys very kindly knock on your door for the room service. All in all very recommended.

Not a bad hostel. We had a dorm the first 2 nights then moved to private room for our last night. The hostel was pretty clean although not the cleanest but it was acceptable for a hostel. The staff were nice but for some reason one of the staff members was always walking around with a whistle blowing it extremely loud which was pretty annoying. There isn't to much cooking equipment/utensils so if you're looking to cook anything more than noodle cups I wouldnt suggest this place. They onky had 1 bowl and small coffee cups. I also wouldn't suggest the dorm rooms of you're a light sleeper as the hostel is right on a busy main road which leads to the beach. On the other hand the location is great if you're looking for somewhere close to the beach. All in all I would recommend the private room over the door room if it fits into your budget.

First I stayed at Kayuma for 6 months and when I came back to Bali I didn't even look for another place. Great location, very friendly staff, clean and modern rooms, well maintained landscape and pool. Everything you need is here. Right now it's been almost 11 months in Kayuma. Definitely recommended!

The hotel is perf, near beach, only 5 minutes to La Brisa Beach Club, the hospitality is great, Mirah is front desk she is very friendly and helpful. We’re love to stay here for 2 days.
