It is a beautiful restaurant located inside intercontinental hotel. Beach facing and the vibe is amazing. Food, service, ambience everything was apt. We paid 715000 IDR for 2 people.

The ambiance and location are very nice, but the food and drinks menu is not up to 5star resort standard and the prices they asked. My wife and I walked 200m more south and tried a restaurant within four seasons area called SUNDARA. Same price level (maybe even cheaper because they offer combos and happy hours from 5-7 on the whole cocktail menu and not only one drink) but the food is exquisite, a great, diverse and innovative kitchen what you would expect from a high end place. In my opinion Sunset Beach Bar is a good place for a sunset drink but if you are looking for a good snack or full meal do consider SUNDARA as an alternative.

Loved this resto/bar belonging to the InterContinental Hotel and resort. It is right in the beach area of the property. Best location of the hotel for sunset view. They have happy hour in cocktails and I believe beer as well,1 for 1. The service was alright, but we got much better service at their pool area café. The menu is limited though as less guest during these times. For instance at the moment they wouldn't have dairy and gluten free options in terms of the milks or breads. So if you have any of these or order restrictions, might make it more challenging. Not forgetting, do expect hotel prices as this is a 5 * resort. F&b is not cheap, but if you look forward to splurge and enjoy, it is worth it. At the time of visiting during pandemic, the place was quiet, and peaceful. They are keeping the distance and protection protocol very well, both the staff and for the property. I'd sure go back or stay there.

I stayed for a drink and dinner. It’s one of the most beautiful places near Keta, the staff are really good and the prices are affordable. They also offer happy hour from 2 to 4pm. It is in the intercontinental so you can enjoy the nice walks inside the hotel and around in the beach before the meal. The sunset view is outstanding and an everyday portrait. My waiter Fren was very pleasant and helpful for making my orders. I will come back for sure to sunset beach bar and grill.

The intercontinental hotel is a great place for food lovers. We tried the sunset bar & make a reservation for a good sunset view… it’s worth!!! The food and service are great. The steak was tasty, the lamb was juicy. Really kind assistants and also the atmosphere is awesome. Every Sunday, there is a djane/dj with good music choices. Of course, the prices are high, since it’s a 5 star hotel… but we loved it.

Beautiful views, spaced out nicely, gorgeous ambiance, attentive staff and DELICIOUS food (you won’t get food poisoning here). We absolutely love this place. The vegetable and halloumi skewers are the perfect healthy, filling and tasty meal when you’re indulging on holidays while my husband absolutely loved the prawn tacos. Super great place.

Location is perfect for watching the sunrise/set and for people watching along the beach. They also had a love singer performing who took requests - very good singer (only for a couple of hours). Also the sound of the waves crashing along the beach is everything you could want in a beach bar. Food was ok (not amazing) but you're not here for the food.

Came here for sunset drinks. Best to arrive early to get a front row seat. You can ring and book a table. Band plays some really great songs. Beautiful lighting tops off a lovely sunset. Staff are very friendly and polite. Service is fantastic. Tables are waited and the bar usually has three of four staff serving drinks. The sunset bar has its own kitchen and BBQ running so the food is different to the pool bar. Watch out for the squirrels that jump around the trees above the bar. This is right on the edge of the beach! Waves crashing nearby make a special background or show piece.

If you dont fancy the crowd of restaurants along the jimbaran coast and dont mind paying a bit more, this is the place for you. We started with prawn avocado salad and soft shell crab tacos. Both amazing ! Had the tenderloin steak and norweigian salmon to follow. Salmon was very well done but the steak was slightly too well done for a medium request. Staff and service was impeccable, totally fit for a 5 star resort.

Visiting here was an absolute treat! Walking through the lobby just to get to the restaurant was beautiful itself, but the whole dinner experience was beyond our expectations. We got seated with a beach view (which we got to see fireworks across the beach later in the night), got complimentary peanuts & prawn chips, and had a live band playing that set the atmosphere to be top notch. The burger and lobster was DELICIOUS, loved the smokey flavour to them. We enjoyed a couple drinks before going on a lovely beach stroll. Definitely one of the best dinner dates we’ve had yet!

Nice place to chill out and watch the sun set. We went during covid so had the whole hotel to ourselves, which was quite sad but a sign of the times. Drinks are hotel prices but in July 2020 they give 20% discount off all beverages. Check your bill though because they tried to charge full price for the wine saying it isn't included in the beverage deal, even though the invoice clearly labels it as a beverage, so dispute this to keep your discount.
