First time visit after hearing talks about this place. We tried Chicken Katsu burger with sweet potato chips. Their burger doesnt come with chips. Egg Benny with extra bacon, The Roastery Breakfast, Pulled Pork Burger with chips and their specialty Banana Split Waffle. Their burgers were good but not great as I have tasted many burgers and good ones are hard to beat. Loved their sweet potato chips. Egg Benny and The Roastery Breakfast were good. However, the highlight was their banana split waffle. It is a must try. Good atmosphere and food came out quick. Friendly service too.

In terms of coffee they deserve 1 star i ordered long mac top and as you can see in the picture that is 90% milk even instant coffee taste better.. but they insisted this is their long mac 🤷‍♂️.. their food taste ok but not worth the value nothing extra ordinary so thats the extra star.. the only thing thats make me tempted to try is their name “ROASTERY” 😂.. lesson learned..

Enjoyed eating breakfast here. Ambiance so relaxed, with tables laid out very well. Smell of coffee inside the restaurant awakens the spirit. Quick friendly staff. Foods served warm and fresh. Coffee is great.

Quite disappointed. Returned watery, $5.30, cappuccino. Got frothy one back that I didn't finish. Got a salmon bagel - now that was a workout for the jaw! Husband liked his coffee and scrambled eggs. Both agreed seating area is stark and a bit noisy. Service was varied from pleasant to desultory.

Great little Cafe with a nice atmosphere, noticed they had some great specials for the day after we had ordered. It would be nice to be told of current specials before ordering especially waffles.

Just popped in for a lunch snack iced- coffee and tomato bruschetta, delicious! Appreciate the ability to order half serves for some menu items. This enjoyable lunch was the perfect quantity and cost $14.90. Very happy. Once again a delicious lunch and coffee here. Flexibility when ordering food to cater for dietary variation. Spaciously set out tables and chairs both inside and outside. Hand sanitizer at the door for entry. A relaxing environment and friendly polite staff.

Always amazing coffee. The lamb burger is superb as well as the Wild Mushroom Bruschetta - my only note I would’ve loved the bread to be crispier. The cafe is huge and is a great place to meet friends and business colleagues. Super friendly staff as well. Can’t wait to try other items on the menu.

If you live in Canning Vale you have to come to this cafe. It was so busy on Saturday morning if you have family it might be hard to get table. There're lot of table for two inside and outside so we seated ourselves outside luckily. We love our eggs benny😋 poached eggs perfectly cooked yummm

Good food for average price, coffee was good, unfortunately it was served in badly cracked crockery that should have been thrown in the bin

We have frequented the Roastery many times (mostly for brekkie) and we’ve always enjoyed the dining experience from the generous portions of flavoursome food to the awesome coffees brewed to the fantastic service, hip and laidback atmosphere and pleasant ambient music which isn’t too loud. We went for lunch on Wednesday and I enjoyed a scrumptious Lamb burger with chips and a mug of chai latte to wash it down. My wife had the smashed avo with an ice coffee. As usual the experience met our expectations. If you’re after good quality brekky or lunch in a funky, chilled out cafe then look no further than the Roastery. I wish the cafe was open for dinner as I’m sure they would be popular.

The coffee cup sizes are given in ounces which is very confusing for most Australians. Today I have suggested to them to change their description to "small", "medium" and "large" to avoid misunderstandings, because I was served today (again!) the wrong cup size. To which I was told by a "friendly" staff member to order my coffee in the nearby Dome. There are no prices given for the sweets and cakes on display. Such information is missing also in the printed price list. No prices are displayed also on the board. If you don't ask for receipt, none is given. So you have to guess what you have been really charged for and how much exactly. Today I asked for receipt and had to wait for about 15 min before it was finally printed and brought to my table. Then I found out that I was charged nearly $7 for a small cheesecake. Which was stale by the way. Overall the service in this places left me unfortunately with a bitter taste in my mouth.

The food is so good. This is pulled pork taco with sweet potato fries. I must mention their coffee is really good quality!

This place is hidden from the main road but we'll located with heaps of parking available. Staff were friendly and our order took about 10 to 15 minutes but they were very busy. We had the Parmesan Mushroom and the Avocado Smash. Their coffee is roasted locally and tastes great. This is a place that I will go again.

Tried the Chorizzo breakfast and liked it. Love the combination of spinach and fried onion and beetroot. Chai late was perfectly made not too sweet. Vibe was nice and refreshing. It's nice to have little gem in the area, will be back to try other menu. Staff were friendly too.

After hearing great reviews we tried The Roastery on a Friday morning to avoid the busy weekend crowds. So glad we did, fast service, helpful staff, coffee was beautiful & strong how I like it. We sat outside, but also well spaced tables inside and the roastery in full view which is great, I simply can not fault these guys and so glad I have found them and so close to home! Definitely recommend.

Good breakfast menu with lots of GF and Vegan options. My friend waited a while for her tea though. Indoor seating well spaced apart. Roastery towards the rear.

The Roatery - Parmesan Mushroom 🍄 🥖🍳🥬 mix of wild mushrooms toasted through spinach and parmesan on pesto-smeared miche, topped with a fried egg Cafe / breakfast rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️/5 - ok Attended on a Thursday Morning 11am, busy Cafe for a weekday, large seating area, decent sized menus with a specials board and average pricing. We had 3 different dishes including the burger special, all pretty average in tasting. Particularly the Parmesan Mushroom the Parmesan was overly strong and was hard to taste the other components in the dish. Also there is an annotation at the bottom of the menu stating you can not do any "deductions" from a breakfast item, but you can do a build your own breakfast starting for eggs on toast, this is difficult for thos people who eat neither toast or eggs, and just want bacon, hashbrowns and veg. #Food #Foodreview #Eat #Dining #foodreviewWesternAustralia #FoodreviewPerth #Perth #PerthFood #Perthfoodie #pertheats #WesternAustralia #WesternAustraliaFoodReview #Vegetarian #vegetarianfood #vegetarianfoodreview #vegetarianfoodperth #vegetarianperth #vegetarianeats #vegetarianeatsaustralia #vegetarianfoodauatralia

Great place for coffee! Had some fabulous food here, too. However, in the last dish, I received a half cooked egg with my dish..... none likes a raw egg with their lunch. But I couldn't fault anything else.

$5.90 for a regular flat white (12oz) is airport prices. Not reflective of other cafes in Perth, very rarely would I see prices exceed $5 in this city. Coffee was fine.

  • 3/5 Sarah G. 5 years ago on Google
Staff are nice, mixed up my meal three times though. Meals are tiny - for $70 breaky for three your expect more. My mum ordered “waffles” a plural you’d expect multiple. However she received half a normal sized waffle with plenty of garnish.

Lots of space, benchs tables and corners with a few rustic barrels. Modern toilets, room for prams and group bookings. Food is awesome, Cherry ripe shake hit the spot!, Nutella brownie was rich!

Food was delicious, good service, venue a little loud but that's to be expected from a popular place :)

I recently revisited my long-time favorite cafe, and it left much to be desired. The coffee, which used to be excellent, has taken a disappointing turn, with a sudden switch to a cappuccino style that didn't match its former quality. When I inquired about this change, the cafe could have offered a replacement, but they insisted it was the new norm. This decline in quality is not a one-off; I've been experiencing it over the last few months. Additionally, the food, including churros waffles and egg Benedict, was below par, lacking the deliciousness I had come to expect. It's disheartening to see a beloved cafe consistently decline in this manner, and I hope they can regain their former excellence in the future.

The mexican egg dish withe poached egg was a disaster. The poached egg was the size of a pigeons egg and the food dished out was warm and no presentation. When I complained the waitress gave the excuse the menu was new and they were still trying out, she went and spoke to the Chef who cares 2 hoots about it. Unfortunately in a lot of places here they employ people who are nor Chefs they do not have experience . They are amateur cooks but liked to be called Chefs.

Great food. Friendly staff. We were served very quickly.

  • 3/5 Jay M. 3 years ago on Google
Great large space and a nice environment. Menu has plenty of options although there is a rude statement at the bottom saying they won't make any changes to anything so they don't cater for allergies. Food was nice but very spicy and over seasoned which is strange for avocado on toast. The coffee was far too hot, plant based milks burn at this temperature.

Good service, easy to find location with lots of parking. Inside of The Roastery is quite spacious with a variety of seating available, plus a couple of outdoor tables. Drinks arrived first, then food (both in good time). Coffee didn't seem to be at the right temperature and wasnt filled to the top. Nice creamy crema on top. Coffee had a bit of a bitter taste but I think that's just the variety used as it was the same last time I was there, not keen on the coffee. Iced chocolate was nice but definitely not cold enough! Food was presented beautifully and in large serves. One meal had coffee brisket added and there was a lot if it, definitely not a skimpy serve. The brisket was juicy and very tender. Poached eggs cooked perfectly. Scrambled eggs on second dish were light, glossy and cooked to perfection, decent sized bread and chorizo and fresh ingredients on the plate were great quality. Cost was just under $50 for two breakfasts and two drinks so quite pricey. If you are looking for food that offers a bit more than the norm and is nice quality then give the place a go.

Food was very good with enough portion. We tried burgers and the chef's choice burger was very nice. This is not a pretty little cafe you may want to visit for a date. It's a big place in a shopping centre and a bit unorganised.

Good coffee and good food. The venue is a bit noisy but spacious. It's a pity they don't use panela sugar anymore. It used to give a better flavour to the coffee.

Awesome brew and good service, been coming here for years. Only complaint is serving dine in coffees in single use cups that will end up in landfill!
