Regret my decision to study here, a ridiculous amount of money for poor quality training. Facilities are gross, course material is google searched print outs that are wrong half the time and we get told to "ignore" what's in our books. They do not accommodate for people who work full-time hours, only providing make-up or help sessions on a Friday. Charge an insane amount of money for stuff I could learn off YouTube, try to scam you with extra fees then act like they're doing you a favour when they decide to "waive" it. The minute they receive genuine concerning feedback they get an attitude. Stay away from this place.

I have had the most awful experience with this institute that has been mentally draining, I enrolled to study the master trainer course. Unfortunate circumstances stopped me from commencing this course on my start date so I had to defer because they advised me if I was to cancel I had to pay the whole course fees, they charged me $50 a fortnight throughout my whole deferral which accumulated to over $1000. I have tried to cancel the course with a medical certificate to avoid paying the whole course fees. They stated my medical certificate was not sufficient enough so I have been billed and harassed to pay the whole course fee which amounts to over 10k for a course I have not even started. On many occasions I have attempted to contact them to come to a resolution and heard nothing back so far. Do not waste your precious time and money on this training institute!!!!

Did cert 4 personal trainer course here at Australian institute of fitness Perth. $7000 I was thrown in with fast talking experts in there field who expected me to know most everything already , I had no laptop like every 1 else at the time , I spent all free time in there computers when allowed , some staff and some students where so mean. It's meant to be adult learning you'd think that it would be a relaxed inclusive environment. My feeling was sign them up 👍pump them out , sales pitch everyone into believing everything, the youngest prettiest get 1st dibs on jobs I had jobs turn me down from a Michelle bridges endorsed at the time institute, for TAFE students they told me get more in house training regardless half my life is in training. Get it as a side hussle for sponsored sports people otherwise good 🤞

Just as other reviews state - money hungry institute with no sense of reason or humanity. Enrolled part-time. What they don’t mention is that part time means less contact hours but the same amount of study as full time is expected. You also need to have access to a gym that will let you bring someone else there. I’m expected to pay for a course that I can no longer complete. I’m not even asking for a refund, just a stop to payments. They want me to either quit my career or pay for a course I’m not even doing. Absolute joke and disgrace to the industry.

Disappointing. Booked in for a massage on Saturday morning, thet even sent me a confirmation and reminder 2 days prior and when i turned up on Saturday as scheduled the whole.place was locked up. No phone call to explain why, no note on the entrance to explain their absence. I rang and left messages, no response. Such a waste of my time. And I don't even know why. I will not accept to silly excuses like the system fault, if they ever get back to me.

I was unable to do the course due to work roster changing. They refused to give me a refund. I only completed the the first day. Not even a partial refund. Couldn't even transfer the course over to my brother to complete. There are also cheaper options out there.

Just had a terrible experience with Daniel Cristy. I booked an appointment to get some information about the course over the phone. He was incredibly short and condescending and I ended the conversation feeling disgusted, and knowing very little about the course they’re offering. Sorry, but in an industry where 100 other companies are offering the same product, customer service is invaluable. I’ll be looking elsewhere for my training.

Great environment to learn and thrive. Great coaches, great opportunities post-qualifications. I'd advise anyone who is starting, go in open-minded, soak up the knowledge and take advantage of the whole learning opportunity.

Amazing culture, passionate staff and a fun, hands on learning that really helps you gain your confidence. Legends in the fitness field are made at the institute. You're not just a number here and the institute crew made sure I was prepared, supported, encouraged and inspired!

My time at the institute of fitness was so much fun. The coaches are very supportive and i made some great friends along the way. As a graduate I continue to work with AIF and recommend the institute to anyone who wants to be a fitness professional.

Terrible and such a waste of money - go somewhere else! *Response* You wouldn’t have any record as I didn’t use this name, I used my full name to register for the course and my Diploma. I don’t have to take it up with anyone or go any further with it thank you. I did my time there and paid all of my money and got my diploma. The course information and practical time is not up to standard with the amount of money you charge people. I’m not sure if you still use Ezypay, but that company is terrible to deal with too. You have sales people to purposely distract and bamboozle prospective students to sign up and then toss them aside if they run into problems or have to change their course for any reason. Its a sales tactic, one which one of our coaches told us about in class. It’s all about money at the end of the day, and for the money you charge I would like to tell people reading this, it’s not worth it!

I completed a diploma of remedial massage through this institute and I definitely would not recommend ANYONE to go here. All they care about is money and they honestly have the worst communication between them. Just wanting 1 document and I have been calling for the last 4 weeks and each time I talk to someone they say ‘it’ll definitely be sent through today’ and to no surprise it never comes through, then of course when I call again they couldn’t care less. Had the worst experience doing my diploma I hated it so much I have never done massage after this course. Worst experience and biggest regret in my life.

DO NOT study through this company. I work in the Defence Force and have been given 3 months notice to move overseas. I am currently completing the Master Trainer course (am only on the cert 3) and have requested a refund for the Cert 4. I offered to pay full for the cert 3 and also small fees for withdrawal of the other course however the only response I was given was that it was a “change of circumstance” within my control, I advised them that being a defence member did not give me any notice for significant changes like this and that I cannot change the circumstances. After requesting a phone number to speak with someone the response I received was to “fill in the complaint form as the team can not assist you any further”. They wanted me to pay $300 to defer a course that I can not complete within the next couple of years. If I am to withdraw from the whole course they told me I am to pay 100% of the fees which is over $6000. If you wish to complete a personal training course do not choose this company.

Legends!!! I have found the team to be highly knowledgeable and approachable, and also extremely experienced and qualified. This course is NOT easy-nor should it be. Personally, I believe Personal Trainers need to be of a high calibre in order to ensure the safety and health of their clients. The course is competency based, which means that if you do not pass the first time, you get to resubmit until you have the knowledge and know how down pat (so really do not know what some other reviewers are talking about when they said they "failed"....you cannot "fail" competency based assessments, especially with the level of help made available! But I suppose not everyone is cut out to be a professional...perhaps a good thing these people won't be out their hurting clients. Truth hurts, guys.).. It is one of the more expensive courses, but you definitely get what you pay for! High standards, high quality coaching, high quality materials, better chance of being employed at the end. I have found balancing work and study difficult. But such is the nature of mature age study, I suppose.

Their own e campus is inaccessible, meaning everyone has to call IT in Brisbane every single time you want to log in. Litigation is mentioned in every class. Staff are underpaid by at least $40k pa and it flows through. You will find ppl in Aif shirts in all the Perth pubs even though there is a zero alcohol policy. Filthy amenities. Uncontactable.

Money hungry institute that do not wish to see their students succeed. I was led to believe I had 12 months to complete my course, AIF gave me a 3 week deadline at the 6 month mark to finish one component and start the next. I work a highly intensive environment and have a young baby at home. I was unable to meet the deadline, denied an extension and told my only option was to defer my enrolment and start again. I asked for payments to stop, they told me I'm contractually obligated to continue to pay the full amount. Their official complaints department said the same thing. Do not use AIF for your studies.

😠 This gym is filthy. It's never clean, they don't do basic maintenance like changing to lights. The female bathroom light has been flickering for a year without replacement. 👍👍 I've been gymming for 14 yrs now, and for what you pay and in comparison to the competition in the area this is an excellent gym. Good amounts of free space, not busy during peak times (4 to 7pm weekdays). Good branded equipment, 24/7, dumbells that go up to 60kg and bumper plates for deadlifts plus...
