This garden is the center of city's events life. If you want walking, meeting with friends, drink delicious coffee- come here. And a lots of concerts, food and crafts festivals are going here.

Pretty gardens , well looked after. Just hold your breath as walk through so don't get stoned. De la soul comes to mind ......pot holes in ya lawn🎶🎵🎶song. And lack of working lights does not make feel safe walk through the earlier darker evenings, unless the cafe is open in park. Little Cafe to get some drinks and food and relax in park. Open all seasons.

We visited these gardens for a food & drink festival. Lots of food glorious food and drinks plus music. Loads of food stalls with all sorts of food and drinks, in Kent. It got very busy as the day went on. There was a busker stage with music, lots of seating. The main Bandstand with the Rock Choir very good sounds. Food that we had was tasty, wings, ribs, brisket, beers other food was available. Artisan cakes, breads, pies and coffee. The festival has been going for some years now it’s within the old city walls in Canterbury. Free entry to the festival. Enjoyable few hours. Price for food & drinks reasonable. We enjoyed our food.

This is my favourite park in Canterbury, very close to Canterbury East and the Roman Wall. Its beautiful in spring or autumn with all the trees and flower beds.

It's the best place to enjoy. From that little hill in the center of the garden, you can see the entire Canterbury from the top which is just amazing to see during evenings. You can just take a pizza and wine to chill and spend some good time with your partner or friends.

Well kept outdoor space in the heart of the city. Often groups and families playing on grass areas, no additional playground

Little gem of a place and an amazing little Latin style cafe. Been to Canterbury tons of time and I never knew it existed. I did get a football up my bracket though! 😆

This is a nice area. It has shaded areas under trees, drinking water fountains, and seating. I enjoyed an event that was held there. Nice place to take the kids or just sit on a bench in the shade and read a book.

Perfect afternoon for wandering around the park and ending it with a Caribbean Hot Chocolate (with rum!) while sitting in deck chairs.

Bordered on one side by the city walls, Dane John Gardens is another of the green spaces open to the public within Canterbury with parking close by yet still close to the centre of Canterbury.

Spent the morning at the Canterbury Food Festival. An amazing array of food and drink on offer! Enjoyed a beer from the Foundry to wash down a pulled pork hot dog from Pork & Co. Delicious!
