This place was terrible for the rate they charge a night. They don't properly clean. I tried staying two different times and each time I had dirty nasty rooms. Went through 4 rooms the first time and 5 the second. The mangers where really no help. James the gm so I was told decided that instead of fixing the issues I brought to his attention he was just going to refund me make me leave all after telling me I was nip picking the rooms. One I have a one year old who can get under the dirty beds if he wanted to and will put anything in his mouth. Its not my fault hes not doing his job to make sure the rooms are up to standard and clean. Two was missing the smoke detectors. One room had blood on the bedding. Mold in bathrooms and they expect people not to complain when paying 70 plus a night. Beds were broke and trash on floors like they didn't even try to clean the rooms. I'm beyond disgusted with this hotel and the managements response to there own negligence.

This has been the worst hotel experience I've had. In general, 1) The noise in the room was unbearable. And I had to leave after enduring it for only 5 hours.I was told that I couldn't get a refund, but I had to leave. The incessant noise included the sounds of cleaning machinery outside my door, car engines and passing traffic, voices from the swimming pool, and the constant running of the next wall neighboring laundry room's washing machines. Additionally, the noise from the fitness room further exacerbated the lack of tranquility. When I approached the front desk, their answer was, no room change…no refund and no earplugs, actually there was nothing they could do. 2) I left behind a set of clothes and made four phone calls. The first three times, they promised to look for it and give me a call back which never happened. 3) On the last phone call, I was told that my clothes were not there. When I expressed that I was pretty sure that my clothes was left on the coat hanger, and this experience was unacceptable, the woman on the other end of the line shouted at me, telling me not to call that number again and not to go to "HER" property again. She is right,of course!I wouldn't waste my time calling again, and as for going back to that hotel, are you kidding me?

The lobby was very nice...and deceiving. We were on the 3rd floor yet the elevator did not work so the only access was from an exterior staircase. The room, where do I begin? The desk chair was peeling, not just some spots but the entire chair was peeled. The side chair looked like the Rick James muddy platforms special, was this thing white at some point? The bed skirts were so absolutely filthy that we slept on top of the covers. The heater/ac unit groaned and hummed loudly but did not blow any air whatsoever. We were too tired to ask for another room but I doubt there would've been any improvement. Would not recommend.

We have stayed here several times. The staff has always been so kind and friendly. The new GM Maureen always has a smile and goes out of her way to make sure that your stay here is the best possible. We have never had a reason to complain about anything. The price is always reasonable. We have stayed in many other places in the area where the staff is rude, unpleasant and unwilling to do the simple things. It's refreshing to be greeted always with a smile and positivity. We would highly recommend staying here if you are in the area.

The price was good, but this place needs work. The room was not very clean. Fortunately, I just had eye surgery, so I couldn't see how bad it was. The breakfast was decent, make your own waffles, biscuits and gravy, sausage patties, yogurt, and other items.

The location was perfect, right in the area we needed to be. The price was great. The staff was friendly and helpful. But unfortunately that’s where it ends, the room was very rundown and dirty looking. So bad that I didn’t trust using the shower. Areas of the room had hair stuck on it and there was unknown substances stuck between the bed and the wall that I noticed when i went to plug in my phone charger. The bedding looked clean and the towels looked clean so i felt ok sleeping in the bed. The walls are thin and you can hear everything going on around you. The curtains on the window was basically a bunch of streamers hanging from a rod, thankfully the thicker curtain layer did cover the window. The bathroom light flickered on and off like it had a short in the wiring. The room had nothing in it, no artwork but the brackets were still hanging where art used to be. There were no hangers at all, no plastic cups to use and only a few towels for a 2 person room, not that we were going to use it anyway so i guess that’s fine. The room smelled moldy. The continental breakfast consisted of literally this: hot sausage links, hot waffles, mini muffins, bagels with cream cheese, milk, apple juice and coffee and this was on a Sunday morning. A room down the hall was playing loud rap music which the staff did get him to turn doen. It’s clear that several rooms are under renovation so it seems like they are trying to do better but this place has a LONG way to go.

⚠️🚫 DO NOT BOOK!!! 🚫⚠️ I must share my recent horrifying experience at your establishment. My stay was marred by: - Overpowering smell of nicotine and weed everywhere, unclean sheets, mold-infested fridges, broken and leaking showers, and the presence of cockroaches. -Alarming safety concerns: individuals wearing balaclava masks roaming freely. -Disruptive noise levels all throughout the night even persisting post-fire alarm, triggered by someone smoking. -Disturbing behavior from both staff and guests, suggesting possible substance abuse. This stay was distressing, and immediate action is crucial for the safety and well-being of guests. Save yourselves from this ordeal! Additionally, we had young children under the age of 3 with us, making the experience even more distressing. #AvoidThisHotel #SafetyAlert

But they have great room rates though!!! An I almost forgot my bathroom door is messed up it scrapes the ground every time making loud noise getting me noise complaints from the floor below me it’s bold..

Staff was rude way to much money for that kind of hotel $73 for the night $50 deposit and $50 nonrefundable fee for pets. Not a 5 star and not even a 2 star hotel in my opinion, that’s $173 for 1 night. My toilet didn’t flush I was told by a lady in the front office to put water in the toilet the shower didn’t drain. The water coming out of the faucet is white, my door looked like someone broke into it. Dog poop everywhere on property, manager would not give me my money back and yes I went somewhere and paid another $55 no problems I lost out on $73 stay somewhere else

This has to be the worst experience I ever had with hotels and management. The hotel overbooked which is normal but I called to confirm that the hotel still has my room an hour before arriving at the hotel. Upon my arrival the staff noted that my room was canceled. The staff including the manager just gave me hotels to call, after calling and noting that no hotels had double beds available (which was my reservations) the manger began to get hostile with me and my mother and noted that we are being “difficult”. Then the manager came back and said just give us a room and was making us pay whole price. After waiting over 30-45 minutes which now I’m being late for my event, reason why I’m at the hotel. I began to express to the manger that I understand business and of dealing with customers and that this is very unprofessional after her comment in a nasty tone. I looked at my mother she told my mother to not talk with her hands and saying that I am threatening her staff (being racially profiled) she kicked me and my family out of the hotel. I called cooperate and the police. Upon the police arriving the cop noted that they are called often to this location, because of the way that management talks to customers. This is horrible to have nearby hotels to say yes they are not surprised. This establishment should not continue to act like this and being accepted and nearby hotels and cops in town sigh and noted that this is normal. I made a complaint to cooperate but I was made aware that this complaint will only just go to the same manager that gave me and my family this unpleasant experience. This establishment has changed owners a little over 7-8 years ago and the clientele, atmosphere, and more has not been the same.

The room was clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. They said they had been remodeling starting on the first floor. The room smelled a little like smoke. Comfortable bed and clean towels.

I had to stay here for some time and though the cleaning crew were trifling because they never cleaned my room, the two managers treated me with the utmost respect and love for my five week stay there. They discounted me because they knew I'd be there for some time. I don't remember the one manager's name but Marie is amazing! God bless her! Unfortunately, I can't say the same for the younger Hispanic girl. I forgot her name. She was pretty rude to me, along with her brother who's supposed to housekeep there but never got around to cleaning my room. The other two ladies(Marie and the other manager)were a blessing.

I WISH I COULD SHARE PICTURES! First, I'll say the lady at the front desk was wonderful. Very friendly. As soon as the elevator door on opened on our floor we were hit with the awful smell of pot. We went to our room. Thankfully it did not smell. It was in need of some major updates. The phone did not work, there we no kleenex, the chair at the desk was an old office chair. I've seen better looking chairs thrown out along side the road. We didn't even touch it. We left our room and once again were hit with a pot/moldy smell. My sister almost puked. I thought she was kidding but was absolutely not. The next morning we went down to breakfast. There were 4 other people there and they had a little bit of OJ, a couple of small cartons of milk, a muffin or two, a few bagels and a couple of pieces of bread. You could make a waffle though so that is what I did. They did finally bring a few cold fake fried eggs and a few sausages that were scarfed up by a father/son duo. You have VERY few food options and only a few people at breakfast so I'm not sure why they couldn't keep up with the microwaved food options. HORRIBLE experience. Will defiantly not be staying there again.

I’ve stayed with the baymont in canton for many years and this time was by far the worst stay. The sheets were dirty, the toilet wouldn’t flush, it smelled like marijuana and I also was startled by an employee attempting to enter into the room due to the fact that one of the staff members didn’t properly put me in the system that I was switched over to a different room. It’s not her fault but I’ve never had that happened before. There were no house keepers available to clean the room and I just was not satisfied with my stay. How I feel now about baymont canton I would not recommend this hotel and I suggest that there be something done so that this doesn’t happen to anyone else.

Employees are very nice & respectful, The room I had was on the 2nd floor it was really nice, super clean. I stayed there for 2 days had excellent service would definitely recommend. There was also a young man that helped me with my bags that work there... He was very nice and respectful.

The room smelled like an ash tray and I could not sleep there for the night. The front desk staff was all friendly and nice and helpful. They told me that the manger would be able to help me. Sadly the manager was the exact opposite. She was very upset that I called and when I tried to explain what happened. She got verbally aggressive and told me to dispute the charges with my credit card and then hung up on me. I will never go back here again nor stay at this franchise name. I have never had to call corporate for a business before but the interaction with this manager was very hostile that I had to do this for the very first time.

READ ALL OF THIS BEFORE LOSING YOUR MONEY AND WASTING YOUR TIME !!!!!!! I refused to spend a night here I booked for 4 nights. 1ST ROOM(221) - had bad toilet plumbing 2ND ROOM(236) - had a gap between the door and room and you could see directly in the room with wind breeze. 3RD ROOM(238) - had the same issue as the 2nd with the gap by the lock & door but the door locking system didn’t work at all not even the key function.. you could literally just push the door open no key card needed. 4TH ROOM (can’t remember room number because we never entered 22?) - the front desk clerk SABA couldn’t even get the door to open it was annoying but laughable. 5TH ROOM(140) - had a fist sized hole in the wall that SABA the front desk clerk attempted to walk right pass like it wasn’t there, It smelled like mildew and had water damage along the floor and door section deadbolt lock didn’t work, dirty walls and latch system was loosened. I told them I didn’t want another room after the 3rd, I had Priceline and SABA communicate over the phone to get something worked out but they proceeded to try and give me more bad rooms. I explained that I was unhappy and wanted my money back knowing I BOOKED A REFUNDABLE RESERVATION THROUGH PRICELINE so I could find another hotel but they refused to give me a refund After all of this I refused to stay & bring my children to this establishment, I checked out by 9:35pm after taking video footage of everything. between This place and Priceline they will try and take everything you pay without a refund I’ve been attempting to get my money back for 3 days now it was dirty and trash piled up in the halls at every trash can location. If you’re looking for a safe place THIS IS NOT IT a full investigation will go into this place. Rude front desk associate (NOT SABA) tried to call me a liar because her night shift desk clerk (SABA) didn’t report everything on the system and didn’t leave a proper pass down of information of what happened he only put 3 rooms when we actually went to 5. They’ll give you the run around and have you look for the manager named James to get a refund but didn’t hesitate for a second to take my money. I don’t think the establishment could even take on a law suit from the looks and condition of the place but I’m willing to see
