It's small but run extremely well managed. Everything was great, not good including service

We just arrived in Canton and after walking through the quaint downtown, stumbled upon downtown kitchen. We are so glad we did!! Staff were all super friendly and the food was amazing!! It’s fancy and casual all at the same time. Food was amazing!! Shrimp and grits special, to die for!! And the bourbon onion soup is a must have!

This is our second time visiting this restaurant. The atmosphere is wonderful, the music playing in the background that makes you feel very comfortable. The food was just a little salty this go round. But I will still return because they have an excellent menu.

Y'all, just the bread & sun-dried tomato dip they bring out is amazing, add their kitchen house, & any of their entrees & you'll have an astounding night! Downtown Kitchen has been our favorite restaurant in Canton since it opened!! They are locally owned and their focus on exceptional service & incredible food! From their amazing hanger steak to the best crispy fried chicken with a creamy bacon gravy, everything there is flavorful & delicious!! We felt extremely lucky to have Ed as our waiter last weekend, he was outstanding!! *We recently went back & my husband was craving their stuffed chicken but it's no longer on the menu. However, when he asked about it, they were super kind & said they could make it & the stuffing would be on top. It was beyond delicious & full of flavor!! Absolutely amazing food & service every time!!

Paintings of rock n roll greats hang on the wall, and their music plays over the speakers. The kitchen is open and kept extremely clean. They have a great choice of cocktails, wines, and a large selection of bourbons. The food is something to experience. Full of flavor, well balanced, and, not to mention, perfectly cooked. The service has been better than most restaurants we've been too. We were served by Sara, who was knowledgeable of the restaurant, made great suggestions, and made us feel like friends. She balanced the amount of time we had to ourselves and when to check in on the table perfectly. We were also able to meet the manager, Robert. He is warm, friendly, and an amazing conversationalist. The way he spoke about food had us drooling. I would suggest this restaurant for foodies and date nights. This would definitely make a great impression for a first date. This restaurant is a diamond waiting to be found.

Really delicious meals! Great service! Terrific dining experience! We had the pork tenderloin, short ribs, scallops, and hanger steak, along with creme brulee, and we all marveled at the flavor of our meals and the dessert. The presentation was exceptional. Prints of musicians on the walls set the ambiance. There's an open kitchen and a bar with a TV. The only drawback: it can be a little loud.

Ed was a phenomenal bartender. He did such a great job balancing a packed bar and being attentive to everyone. He also perfectly crafted a lesser-known drink for me, and it was the best I’ve had! Super impressed!

We ate at Downtown Kitchen this week and it was delicious! The music and mood was great. Our server, Tiffany, was friendly, knowledgeable, and quick with all our food and refills. The hanger steak was perfectly prepared and the accompanying jus that comes with it was fantastic. The menu has good variety. We will definitely be back soon!

Our absolute favorite place to eat. Great ambiance, the service is always impeccable and the food is amazing. The specials as well as their menu staples are always outstanding. Their steaks are always cooked to perfection with lots of different topping options and we love that the entrees include a salad. Excellent value and quality. The crème brûle for desert is also fabulous.

Went here because of the good reviews but was very disappointed and felt wasted my money. Chips with the spinach dip were stale but they quickly corrected and was good. Two of our Caesar salads were browned up and kinda gross. Had to pick around it but was able to have half or so. The others salads at the table, I think chef or house, looked super good. Steaks is where it all fell apart for us. I had the ribeye and honestly could just get a few bites in because it was so salty. Like WAY over salty but cooked right. Two others at the table scraped the top off and ate. Baked potatoes were good. Service was good. Hate wasting money is why I’m writing on here.
