This place is huge!!! There is a whole other section about a couple blocks outside the actual Market for Animals!! Be warned you may be tempted to leave with one.. we did ha! They do have atms and there are restrooms throughout the park. Be sure to grab one of the little newspapers they have a market map in the middle. Have fun!

This place is HUGE! I had so much fun and spent way too much money and ate way too much food. All kinds of booths out there. It was so big I couldn't cover it all. Ready to go back though. While there I ate at Joe Mama's for breakfast and lunch was at Wings and Things and loved their strawberry and grape lemonade. They also had bacon bombs and nachos. Ten bucks to park.

So much fun!!! Canton First Monday Trade days is a great pickers paradise! Anything and everything you can imagine. New or old. It’s probably 50% old rusty dusty goodies to dig thru and 50% new items, such as hats, t shirts, purses. A lot of Hobby Lobby type decor. You definitely want to rent a scooter. Not kidding about this!! This place is massive!! I My scooter rent was $60 for the entire day. Yes, it’s pricey but you’ll thank me later. Also take a big shopping bag just to keep things together. Food and drinks are always pricey so take bottled water and just get ice. All kinds of food but again, pricey!! Eat before you go or take snacks. Bartering!!! Yes!! Love to barter for a good price! Most everyone Was taking reasonable offers. So don’t be afraid to ask. Now this is for the flea market items. I didn’t buy the clothes or Hobby Lobby type stuff, so I don’t know about those folks when bartering, doubtful tho. Parking was either $5-$10 per day. Go on a the first day they are open. Good Lord at the difference a day makes!! Like night and day difference!! Go early!! If you buy a big item, too big for a scooter to haul, they’ll give you a pickup pass to drive to pick it up. Ask the vendor and they tell you about it. Most of all…. Have fun!! You won’t be disappointed!! Check their website for the dates.

This market is HUGE. It’s so fun and such a great experience! There are many food options and vendors. I recommend to take a wagon, comfortable shoes, and sunscreen! There is a map available and scooter rentals! My favorite unique find was a vendor that did pet portraits!! Parking lot is $10. The restroom are very cleaned!

Our first time here and all I have to say is 1100 vendors in one place! 10$ to get in and do a bit of research because there is an art to coming here for this event! Vets park free! We liked the West gate entrance for ease of parking!

Much bigger than I anticipated. Had to walk pretty far from parking, but it’s a huge event with something for everyone. Antiques, crafts, food, home decor, toys, clothing. Ended up purchasing hot wheels, jerky, decorative tea towels. Lots to see and plenty to eat. Buildings were air conditioned and bathrooms were well kept.

Lots to do and see! Come see me at trade center 4. I have homemade jams and jellies, multi use dip mixes, soup and casserole mixes as fresh tomatoes & cucumbers straight from the farm. Look for my tablecloths and tell me you saw this post to receive a free gift!

It is quite a busy place. Parking is organized well by the staff, and be aware that the Parking fee is $10 cash. It is friendly to disabled people, children and pets. Many vendors accept credit cards, but cash is more convenient. Hope the map from the web show more details of the vendors.

Always a fun time to be at First Monday Trade days!!! A few pointers for those who have not been. 1. We are in Texas, dress accordingly! This means it feels like summer 3/4's of the year! Walking in non air-conditioned metal sheds and wearing jeans?! Not a good idea, there is not enough sweet tea or fresh lemonade out there to help you!! 2. Have a plan of attack!! If you are window shopping... I will say a prayer for you. Go in with the intent of I need Christmas yard, or antique for the bedroom, or children's clothing. The point is you can probably find it handmade, imported, or antique somewhere there! 3. You can rent scooters and wagons there. So if you shop to much and need help carrying your haul get a wagon. If you want to bring someone and the back forty will just be to much walking around, get them a scooter!! Just have fun drink lots of water, pace yourself and happy shopping!!

This was my second time visiting the trade days… and it was just as enjoyable as the first time except with much better weather. We spent the whole day walking around, and I still don’t think we got thru all the different vendors. My favorite part was seeing all the cute pups walking around. The flea market offers so much… really anything you are looking for it is there. You can find plants, furniture of all kinds, antiques, shoes and clothes, pet accessories, and more. There is also plenty of food and dessert stands. Kettle corn is a must try! I definitely recommend bringing a wagon or rolling cart if you plan to buy items. It makes it easy to keep your belongings in place and also have a place to store your drinks. Try to get there early too for decent parking and first dibs on all the products!

This is a shopping experience that's unique as its antiquity. First Monday Trade Days of Canton, Texas has its origins in the late 1800's. Today, it thrives in sales and with visitors from not only all around Texas and the U.S., but also from around the world. Plan on spending a few days shopping here and possibly renting a scooter onsight since the grounds are so large. You'll find everything from pets to antiques to new items; there's few things you won't find. It's a collectors paradise. Coins, collectibles, furniture, decorations, and seasonal products - you name it - can be found here. I highly recommend Canton, Texas' First Monday Trade Days.

Place is huge and didn't feel like I thought it was going to be. A lot of walking understandable there were some cool things that seemed very pricey and junk not garage sale prices. Then the buildings stalls seemed like infomercial stuff a lot of knockoffs. There were some authentic vendors like the honey, leather and but mostly china feel anyway im sure the place was good for most just not what i thought it be..such as a state fair homemade, treasures type anyway. Huge place maybe ill try another time.

A little crazy but definitely fun! We went to dog alley and purchased two puppies on two separate occasions. One a Yorkie and the other a Chinese crested and Pom mix. They were both very small just like we asked for. We are very pleased with our decisions. They have plenty of selections when it comes to puppies. We recommend dog alley to anyone looking for a puppy or pet every time!

Best piece of advice is to park far away from the main gate so that when you go to leave you won't be stuck in a field while other people won't let you in the flow of traffic. Bring your best walking shoes, plenty of water, a hat and sunglasses, and a cart if you plan on shopping. The food is amazing and some of the deals are unparalleled. If you are able to make to the lighting and chandelier booth they are my favorite. They always have excellent deals on fancy lights for fixing up your home. Highly recommend stopping to get a 1/2 lb Angus burger for $8, and I saw a red velvette funnel cake with cream cheese icing, the lady eating it swore we would have to try. All in all it was amazing experience for the whole family!

First visit ever and we had a good time celebrating our 25th Anni-V here! Hubby knows all I need is an ENORMOUS flea market and I'm good, lol! 😆 Only "complaint" is: There's no clear cut walking paths to this huge place. Everything's- EVERYWHERE and you end up getting confused IF you've been down this way or that way. So, you don't get to really see it all. Ended up buying two out of the five items pictured and if I had planned this mini "get-a-way" trip right, renting a U-HAUL, I WOULD have bought them all!!! I'll DEFINITELY be back for those DOORS! Wait for me! 😄

I haven't been in nearly 20 years, it's grown so much. I think I walked 10 miles over the weekend and didn't see everything they had to offer. So many items to look at with amazing vendors. The staff was very organized and helpful. Hands down I would say it's the biggest market in Texas that I've been to

Lots of things to buy and see. Plenty of restrooms. Really a fun time!

It's big, so you'll have lots of ground to cover, wear good walking shoes and bring a hat and a little rolling cart for your purchases. I enjoyed it because I got to speak to the local business owners in the area and support them. Please support our local business owners and continue to make this place a wonder of Texas.

In a word "Plentiful". Hughes flea market I been to since the one I went to in Australia. Think about what you like, want, or need. You will probably get it there. Went with my long time brother and sister in Christ and her brother. Spent about 4½ hours and saw just a drop in the bucket. Going again in a couple months, then again, again and again....

This was our first time visiting Texas. Our Airbnb host told us about this AMAZING event! Over 5,000 vendors! It is HUGE!!! GET THERE EARLY! Mob scene of humanity. There is absolutely something for everyone at this location. There are lots of food vendors as well. The atmosphere was very fun. Everyone seemed to be having a great time. I am so glad we went.

This place is AWESOME! when my sister described it to me it sounded like a giant garage sale. Was surprised to find a TON of new things from furniture to tools to clothes and everything in between, it's a four hour drive for us but I am definitely going back

Always a great experience and will for sure forever go back. The people and the experience are worth it. Definitely buy a lemonade and rent scooters from Jordan on the East corner lot. The best money spent. Buy the homemade popcorn and lots of local vendors to choose from.
