If you’re looking for something delicious to eat near Palo Duro Canyon, this is a great place to go to. They have classic Southern favorites like chicken fried steak and beef tips and they serve it with a smile. Our waiter was so kind and helpful. Our group enjoyed all the things - especially the chicken fried chicken, chicken fried steak, and beef tips. The chili cheese fries and chips and queso were great as well. We’d definitely go back here.

The chicken fried steak was good and the okra was great, had real good service and the atmosphere was cool. They have two trains that run around the restaurant above your head that is pretty neat.

Very good diner, we've been welcomed very nicely. The staff is very gentle and smiling 😊 Really amazing coffee and peach cobbler, so tasty. I really like the atmosphere and the little toy train that runs above your heads, a great photo and video op. 🚂 🤩👍

I decided to try this restaurant based on menu and reviews. Restaurant was clean, well maintained and prices are fair. Service was friendly but lacking. Once we received our food we didn't see the waitress til it was time for the check. Too bad because I really would've liked a drink refill since my drink ran out right after my order arrived. I liked the atmosphere and the trains continuously encircling around the top are reminiscent of restaurants of past. The food was what you would expect. I enjoyed the chicken fried steak. I ordered a house salad in addition and it was a really good size with fresh greens. The sizes are generous esp the french fries that came with the steak fingers. Cream gravy was well prepared with just enough flavor and thickness; not runny or peppery. I will definitely return next trip up back home to Canyon (hopefully by then I'll be able to see the faces of the people around me! 🤞🏻).

Love the fact the had chive tv, I love watching extreme stuff. I could not get the Wi-Fi to work for some reason. The food and service was good. I ordered baked potato soup & it had real bacon, that’s a plus! Club sandwich was tasty just wish the lettuce was full leafy not chopped. My husbands beef tips were good he ate them all but said they needed to be marinated to be tender, he said basically it was like eating a cut up steak. Restrooms were clean and there was a hook for my bag another plus! Thanks for the awesome vibes & great service.

While visiting friends in Canyon we decided to try out Feldman's. Service was very congenial and fast, and the menu fairly varied. I received the chicken fried steak and it was quite good, with delicious gravy and a decent crunch. If you find yourself in the area, I'd consider this a good option.

Had chicken fried steak and it was ok, nothing special. Husband had the blackened Salmon and he thought it was really good.

Amazing food- great service. Definitely a great place to visit if you visit the greatest canyon in Texas! Sorry pictures taken after we started. We shared our fried pickle appetizer with young girls seated next us. Way too many for just two of us!

My husband, friends, and I had the pleasure of dining at Feldman's Wrong Way Diner for the first time yesterday, and it was an experience worth sharing! The food was nothing short of amazing. We tried their special, the chicken-fried steak with two sides for just $7.99, and it was a delight. The flavors were spot-on, and the portion size left us happily satisfied. Pair that with the $2 beer specials, and you've got a winning combination. The atmosphere at Feldman's is fantastic. We were particularly charmed by the train on the ceiling that winds its way around the entire restaurant. It added a playful touch that made our dining experience even more enjoyable. Our waitress was a gem—attentive, friendly, and always ready with a smile. It's clear that the staff takes pride in making customers feel welcome. The cleanliness of the restrooms did not go unnoticed. They were not only clean but also bright, reflecting the overall attention to detail at Feldman's. Overall, we had a fantastic time and will undoubtedly be back for more. Feldman's Wrong Way Diner has earned our highest recommendation. If you're looking for a delicious meal, a great atmosphere, and friendly service, this is the place to be!

WONDERFUL experience! From the moment we walked in the door until we left we were not disappointed one time. Our food was exceptional and I especially loved the delicious salads being served in ice cold frosty bowls. Everything was fresh, tasty, served at the perfect temperature and large portions. Our server, Cady was a delight. She was so personable and attentive. A true class act. The toy train running up over head was such a neat touch. If you have kids they will be entertained. We will definitely be returning on our next trip through!

Wanted to try something local while far from home, and this ended up being a good choice. Good food and good service. Fun atmosphere, from the themed tables to the model trains running around overhead. Fun place!

Such an excellent experience! From the time we walked in the door, was waited on by Faith and served a terrific meal! I had the blackened salmon while my husband had the best beef tips in his life! The queso with the seasoned meat was soooo good! The chips were still warm! I came to Texas with my husband for our anniversary and was so glad we decided to stop here to get dinner! Faith was an excellent and very attentive server! Two thumbs way up!

We stopped here before our tour of WT, this place was amazing. Staff was very welcoming and the food was fantastic. I got the grilled catfish and steamed broccoli and my son got the Big Lebowski burger. Will most definitely visit again.

Very nice place, service at the bar was fine. Ordered a basic Cheeseburger and Fries. The fries were fine. The burger on the other hand, was a Frozen Patty purchased from a distributor. Bland, tasteless hockey puck.

For Canyon Texas, this Guilligan’s Island referenced restaurant/bar is about as good as it gets. Definitely a top restaurant choice for the area. Good menu without being too optimistic on kitchen capabilities. You can get vegetarian here if desired. More like a local version of a Chili’s. Attentive waitstaff and - important to us at the time - cold beer!

First time here, It’s quite dark inside, even in the daytime. They do have a train that drives around on a ceiling track which is pretty cool. I was recommended the chicken fried steak and it was good. Corn was sweet, but the green beans were lacking. My order was correct, but two of the orders of my party were completely incorrect. The server that took our order could have been a bit friendlier, and a majority of the time we were eating, they didn’t refill waters but once. Shades on the windows? Very outdated decor but I think they’re going for an old fashioned look.

Service was great! We just went in for snacks, so we ordered 3 appetizers. Cheese fries, fried mozzarella balls, & Mac & cheese balls. Loved how thick cut the fries were & every fry had plenty of topping on it, the Mac & cheese balls were the bomb! Of course the girls had a handful of each before I took pictures, so this is not the actual amount you get! Will visit again!

Really enjoyed this restaurant. The catfish was excellent…nuggets were huge! Fried pickle appetizer…very large order and delicious. Our waitress was polite, friendly, and attentive. Great atmosphere inside this quirky restaurant. Will return.

A very eclectic decoration with the right balance between theme decor and formal accommodations. The food is well done, tasty and the menu has plenty of options to choose from. Booze offerings seem to have the clientele happy and coming for more. Reasonable priced with top game service.

The restaurant was cool! We loved that there were trains going through the restaurant above our heads during the meal. The food was great and a large amount! We ordered the chicken fried steak (Yum!!!), Cesar salad (huge! and Yum!), grilled cheese (the kids appreciated that) and chicken strips (on point , plus the fries were seasoned!)The staff were very friendly, even when my son spilled his drink everywhere. We will be back!

Amazing place. The top sirloin x2 was generous, cooked exactly to the point, and well seasoned, perfect to share. Service was fast and everybody nice. Will come back anytime when visiting Canyon, TX.

Tortuga chicken was amazing! Takeout was timely and the hostess was accommodating when I asked for plastic silverware

Good food, Shroom burger with fries, fried Catfish coleslaw and fries, Chicken fried chicken mac and cheese & green beans, only green beans &mac and cheese were not what she thought she wanted (nothing to great, cheese was very runny, green beans were your basic unseasoned canned beans although there was a small piece of well cooked bacon). Other than those, we were all very happy with our plates. Wait staff was attentive, taking turns as it was 6:45 supper time on a Friday night. & busy. Cost about $11.00 each. We will be back,as 2of us had eaten here prior & 1 of them is at WT😉. I'm already figuring out what I might order next time.

Great food, good prices, friendly staff, pleasant environment, and the model trains running on elevated tracks are a nice touch. We had questions about ingredients (avoiding food allergies) and they were very helpful, ready to explain everything that went into the food. Waitress was attentive without being intrusive. The chicken-fried steak was probably the best I've had. We're stopping here again the next time we come through Canyon.

Delicious as always. Would consider not putting bread under the chicken fried steak though, definitely gets soggy.
