This hotel is ok but is also overpriced. The beds are very comfortable but they need to do a better job in cleaning the bathroom. The tile and tube were dirty. The food there is good but overpriced. I gave it a 2 stars because it wasn't clean and the the water in the pool was black. At one point there was no water in the bathroom. I could expect that from a $60 hotel

I stayed here for 4 days and felt at home. The grounds were beautiful, the food delicious and the staff amazing. The rooms were clean & simple. My belongings were secure in the room. The hotel offers a view of most of the city and a perfect view of the sunrise. The clubs below on the boulevard can be heard in the evening but usually aren't overly loud. My room's hot water was plentiful and the water pressure was good. I heard that the water pressure wasn't as good on the 3rd floor. This will be my preferred hotel in Cap-Haitien. Oh, and it's Haitian-owned.

Nice location, nice view and services but rooms a bit too expensive, considering the city itself

Mint Joli is my back up stay in Okap (Cap-Haïtien) when I'm in town for business or pleasure. It's affordable and walking distance to all the great restaurants and bars. It's a older and the linen are age but that's why you not paying $200.00 a night. For value and customer service, I give Mont Joli a full 5 stars.

I went here in 2017 and the view was beautiful, hotel rooms were like any average American hotel room, and it was just like a hotel in America to be honest.

I am a tennis fanatic. There are two hotels in Cap Haïtien which have tennis courts and Mont Joli is one of them. The rooms are decent and it close to the Boulevard where you can enjoy a nice evening by the ocean at one of the many bars and restaurants. Due to the recent political climate, tourism has been down resulting in the hotel altering its energy policy. In general, service is friendly. Their breakfast is supposed to be ready by 6:30 am. Often times, it isn't ready until 8am. It does not offer a buffet breakfast which I find inconvenient. If you wish to spend the extra cash, you can consider staying up the hill where comfort is king and pay the extra fee for the tennis court and a coach.

I really enjoy this hotel!!! I stayed here one night then stayed at hotel Satama. I can honestly say I like this hotel better. It was cleaner, bigger, and has a better view of the water.

I stayed in this hotel in March 2022. It is very clean and nice. Service was great, as well as breakfast. The hotel is also on the hill, so it is very quiet and the view is amazing. Definitely recommend staying there is you travel to Cap-Haïtien.

A few of us ate here for dinner and breakfast. The food was good and was a great hotel with the outside dining area facing the pool. Service was excellent and so was the famous Haitian hot chocolate! I've been told it is was once a home turned into a hotel. It's really unique. Note: We only dined there.
