Lovely new modern restaurant & wine tasting just 30 minutes from Struisbaai. Beautiful views, great service & delicious food. Relaxed atmosphere for great chilled afternoon. Also open for breakfast.

We went for wine tasting and lunch and it was absolutely worth the visit. What a beautiful and modern place it is! On arrival we were a bit confused with the directions to the restaurant but once we were welcomed with the Beautiful Dam, and view of nature, I was convinced it’s a Hidden Gem. Very Good and delicious food . The wine tasting was insightful and Sean is clearly passionate about their wines! Zoetendal is highly recommended and they will become the Top Destination in the Overberg Region! Watch this space…

A must visit!!! We have just returned to England today, the only wine we brought back after 3 weeks in SA, was The Monarch. We called by chance last week, we were met by a brilliant, friendly and knowledgeable chap with super smart waistcoat!! ( sorry, forget his name, his wife worked in Arniston?). His passion for the wines at Zoetendal was the the reason we will be back. This wine travelled safely in a box all the way back to Lancaster, England and thanks to him, we now sit by the wood fire, listening to the wind and rain outside enjoying The Monarch and dreaming of Zoetendal Vinyard. I had an amazing time at zoetendal vineyards. They also Cape my son company with toys.he really had a good time. It's a nice place to be. Chef Senzo did a good job with food we really enjoyed.evryone was welcoming.and Sean was really good with wines. Wow ..I recommend to anyone....

We had such a good time out today...just what we needed and this spot and the host so ideal...an absolute worth it with REALLY good wine en snacks and worth it. We just needed to break the routine and realize how close we live to what we dreamt to have and to appreciate the small things in life again...

Friendly welcome. Stunning views of vineyards. Offered us water as we entered, for the table. We had wine tasters and ordered some food. Delicious sauce with my calamari. When asked for bill was surprised at the hefty price for 1litre of water @ R52. Just a normal bottled company water.

We were met with a warm welcome by Sean on a rather chilly morning, so polite and friendly, shared some of his valuable wine knowledge with us, his hospitality is unrivalled, delicious breakfast steaming hot tea and coffee. Beautiful setting, definitely worth a visit and a stay at the luxury accommodation. Wishing you much success

What a beautiful venue. The host, Sean, was amazing. His service was excellent. As well as the other staff. We enjoyed the wine tasting so much. The Monarch wine was our favourite. We even bought some wine to take with.

Absolutely loved the wines! Different from anything I’ve tasted in the Cape. Would recommend to anyone. The tasting room is also lovely and staff are friendly and welcoming.

My family and I had a lovely time at this place. The service was exceptional, the food beautifully presented and only rivaled by it's yumminess. The owner Whitney and her wingman Sean amongst other staff made our day with their welcoming nature and attention to detail. Not to mention the picturesque view. Spoil yourself and visit this place ASAP.

Menu is extremely small and drinks are limited. To pay R52 for a bottle of water is way out. One plus point is the friendly staff.

What a gem. A wonderful family run winery. Craft beer on tap.Superb wine. The Sauvignon blanc was our favourite. Friendly service and the Zoetendal platter for two was the best platter we have had. Wonderful day out. Thank you. We will be back.

A delightful find on a quiet Monday, we stopped in for lunch and enjoyed the beautiful views on the deck while consuming the most exquisite Zoetendal platter - farm-to-table style! Highly recommend going through for a glass of wine and a light lunch! Lovely, friendly and accommodating staff 🙌🏽
