Heavenly heaven on earth for wind kite surfing, for waves surfing 🏄‍♀️ and the sea is conveniently situated for swimming 🏊‍♀️ also if there's no wind or waves 😉

Longest beach ever! Good for walking, running, cycling and the kite surfers love it on a windy day. The bay is shallow and the water clear, perfect for swimming, with designated lifeguard areas. I would recommend going at low tide as the beach does get small at high tide.

One of the most beautiful stretches of white sand beach I have seen anywhere in the world. At low tide the beach is wide and flat, ideal for walking or playing games. At high tide, the beach can get quite narrow, but this is often the best time for swimming in the waves. The beach is safe to swim with almost no currents.

It was a treat. Nice mild water temp. Kite surfers doing tricks. Freshwater tap and shower at the beach to rinse off afterwards

Struisbaai beach is an amazing 14km stretch of beach with lots of safe swimming areas and Blue Flag status. It's very underrated and is the perfect place to get away from the rush of life. It's just next to L'Agulhas which is the southern most tip of Africa. I would highly recommend this beach of you want to get away from the fast pace of life. It's also perfect for kids.

Wonderful, long sandy beach. Beautiful turquoise blue water. Everything was perfect over the 4 days we spent there from 20-24 Jan. We had some lovely hot sunny weather with a bit of wind here and there. The waves were great at times for boogie boarding but also not to big for swimming or splashing around.

What a lovely beach to spend the day at. There are ablution facilities with a showers. There is Seafood restaurant on the beach , the Sea Shack. The water is warm and very very pleasant and enjoyable to swim in. The beach area is clean and there are dirtbins everywhere.

One of the longest beaches you will find anywhere with a very long flat beach that stays shallow to quite far out when the tide is in. Obviously the width of the beach area is limited then, and a little steeper, but makes for safer swimming, especially for smaller children. When the tide is out however the beach is very wide giving massive beach area. Loses a star as there could be some more places near or at the beach to get refreshments. Some of the previously available options are no longer in place. If you like long walks on the beach, then this beach will really work for you. Water on this coast is also a lot warmer than the west coast.

A really nice beach for relaxing and playing! Safe to swim as it deepens very gradually. I bodysurf here during spring tide period.

Incredible beach to relax, tan, swim or surf 🌊 I honestly did not expect to have such an enjoyable weekend here at the beach in Struisbaai, highly recommend when the wind is not to hectic.

👍👍 I initially wondered what would be special about visiting the Southern tip of Africa, but I shouldn't have. On a very sunny and clear day, being at the point where the Indian and the Atlantic oceans meet was a very memorable experience. Big open skies, sweeping views of two oceans at the same time,...

😐 Interesting place full of history. Not so well maintained exhibition with plastic-wrapped posters and definitely NY-level entrance prices. Not easy to climb ladders within - it gets tougher the higher up you get. Absolutely amazing views of the area, and friendly staff.
