Super busy but we found a spot at the bar. Wait for table was an hour and a half. By the time we left they weren't even taking names for the wait list. Wait time went by quickly as the personable bartenders keep the frozen drinks coming. Conversation was lively amongst the folks sitting at the bar! There isn't a bad seat in the restaurant. When we finally got our table it was right on the beach. Beautiful views. We got the seafood platter which wasn't great. Just a bunch of battered, deep fried seafood with fries which you would expect. But couldn't beat the ambience. Recommend getting a sandwich and a few cocktails and enjoy the view.

The views are amazing! They are some of the best around and cannot be beat. We are thrilled they have been able to rebuild and come back after the hurricane. The space is beautiful and the views are amazing! It was busy when we arrived so we sat at the (smaller) bar for a drink. The 45 minute wait was finished in the blink of an eye. Our bartender was super and we were all encouraged that this would be a great place to have a meal. The restaurant was busy and our server was busy but that’s okay. The ahi tuna appetizer was great (just a touch too much sauce but if you like horseradish like we do, it was perfect!). Our order came promptly and was correct. We ordered the scallop platter (fried), the crab cake entree, and the shrimp + grits. As I mentioned everything was served promptly, our server seemed slammed, and never really seemed concerned if we were good. She did ask once but we never saw her again except when she plopped more glasses of water on our table. That’s all okay. It happens. But guess what?! I don’t know if it’s because it is considered “outside” or because it’s considered a “bar” but you can smoke. This is terribly annoying and disgusting. And this is one reason why I’m giving the atmosphere a low score. Plus people can stand behind the barstools and smoke…they are practically standing closer to our table then the bar. Our food was hot but all very dried out. In addition, the food all seemed to be frozen not fresh. Although good, it just wasn’t the “fresh seafood” meal we were hoping for. It’s a great place to bring out of town guests as the views are amazing. Again, the wait was long but passed quickly. The staff is great and friendly. The food is okay but not great. Definitely come here for the views with friends, you won’t be disappointed.

It was a beautiful day out. The Boat House had great entertainment, the atmosphere, the breeze, and the view of the water... I think I wouldn't care how the food tasted. But my husband and I split a seafood comb basket, and each had the seafood chowder. It was good. The crab cakes that went by my table are still talking to me. We will be back next time with more of an appetite. Oh, and if you haven't been here since before the hurricane, they made it bigger and better.

We absolutely loved The Boathouse! The food was delicious, the atmosphere was amazing (even on a super windy day!), and our waitress was friendly and fantastic. I wish I would have caught her name so I could give her a shout out! She went above and beyond to accommodate us and our toddler. We will certainly recommend this place to anyone staying in this area!!

This place was FUN and it also had amazing FOOD. They seated our party of 7 on the beach under a tiki hut and the view was nice! Our server took great care of us. We got our food quicker than we expected. This was also a nice place to get pictures on the dock by the water. A local resident recommended it to us. Would definitely return here again. No gluten free menu but they were able to communicate to me which items were gluten free.

Soooooop happy the Boat House is up and running again!!❤️ Have come here for many years! Alyssa, our waitress, was super helpful with menu items and always had a smile on her face! The food is superb and you can't beat the atmosphere. Live music was very good and puts you in just the right mood to enjoy this Cape Coral favorite!!

I was in the neighborhood and popped in for a cocktail and an appetizer. My first time back since their re-opening. This place was Obliterated a year ago by Hurricane Ian. Please come and support this Super Cool Establishment!! The place looks Great. It feels Bigger and Better than before. The restoration was done so well. The Mighty Boathouse Tiki is standing strong again!! The River views are better than ever. They recaptured every essence once previously enjoyed by countless patrons. So happy to see them back and busy again! I ordered the Calamari. It was so perfectly prepared. Lightly fried in Clean Oil [I can Taste the Difference] and served with a Very Delicious Marinara Sauce. The girls behind the bar were Very Cute and Attentive. The Bar Hops were just as cute and working hard for these girls!! It was a very pleasant visit and I cannot wait to go again!!

Nice view. On the water. Staff and service was okay. We had the combo platter, chili, peel and eat shrimp, and chicken tacos. Cocktail sauce was perfect flavor and spice. Chicken taco was a little bland. Value for dollar was about right. Averaged $20 a person.

Fantastic atmosphere, ambience, live music was excellent and so was the food! Food takes a while to get to the table but it's worth it. The proximity to the beach and the possibility of mind-blowing sunset views are heavy icing on the cake. Highly recommended!

We were a party of 4 and were added to the waitlist with an approximate wait time of one hour but the front desk added the wrong phone number. It caused a second of frustration but the situation was perfectly handled by front desk employee. She took immediate responsibility and seated us right away at the next available table. After that the evening continued to be great. The waiter was funny and friendly and she was very quick. The cocktails came fast and the food tasted great. We had Calamari, Tacos, Mahi Mahi Basket and a Cesar Salad. The musician was a great choice too he had something for everyone and he was not too loud. The location is amazing and we catched the right time to have dinner at sundown.

Great atmosphere and good menu options. Had a hurricane and alligator bites. Both were good. Nice live entertainment too. We were glad we got there in-between he breakfast and lunch change at 11 because the line when leaving around noon was long.

Fun seafood restaurant on the water. Drinks are delicious. Food is good. Foodies won't go here for the best cooked meal in town - but if you're looking for something decent on the beach, this is your place. Great vibes. Fun staff. Cool crowd.

Great food and location. On the water, local birds will entertain you when the steal sugar packets, fly up to the rafter and pick open to get the sugar!!! Its a great little place to enjoy breakfast or an evening cocktail with your meal.

First of all, the location is perfect. It sits right on the water and they have some nice decoration - all of this would make this a go to, can't miss kind of spot. Plus, there is ample free parking available and a nice beach right next to the restaurant On the other hand, the service and the food couldn't live up to that standard when we were there (for example, I'd expect a restaurant to make its own honey mustard sauce and not serve some boxed one). All of that being said, I would still recommend going there for drinks or a sundowner or something of the kind. However, if you are looking for a lunch / dinner spot, I'd say there are better options available in Cape Coral...

I really liked it. It was nice to get out for a minute. The drink prices were reasonable they had regular and frozen decent portion I had peel in each shrimp. It was pretty good. The shrimp was a nice size, but I still think they need to clean the shrimp better. It had a couple poopy lines if you know what I’m saying I think it could’ve been clean better. The table had nachos. It was OK. There were a little bit different than Average nachos anywhere else. So it’s better drinking place than it is eating place I like the vibe I thought it was fun. It was busy but we got in with no trouble. I had a party of five.

When I get my sailboat in the future and come visit family in Cape Coral I will definitely be fueling up here. The bar is great, the servers are fantastic, the atmosphere is stupendous and the company of locals is warm and welcoming. If I could give it 6 stars, I would.

I thoroughly enjoyed the welcoming atmosphere! I sat at the railing so I could be whisked away in my imagination. The music set the tone of Caribbean sounds, a strawberry daiquiri and a calm warm down looking out over the watering the open air portion of the restaurant!! Perfect! The food was scrumptious. I highly recommend the lamb gyro!!!

Enjoyed our time having lunch on a Sunday. The birds were a little annoying but that's because people feed them, not the bird's fault. The popcorn shrimp was amazing! They had live music; it is all outdoor seating! Would go if I visit the area again. The best part is that if you go to the little beach next to the restaurant, you don't have to bring lunch; just walk over and enjoy some yummy food and drinks! It is family friendly!

A delightfully casual waterfront venue with lots of outdoor seating, excellent service, decent prices, and live music that entertains, but doesn't drown out the conversation at your table. Parking is tight, so you may need to walk a good distance from the car to the bar, but you'll be glad you did!

Very good seafood restaurant. The location on the water is beautiful. Totally tropical atmosphere and fun vibe. I felt like Jimmy Buffet should be sitting next to me at the bar. We had a party of 7 which included 3 kids. They all ate their lunch with no complaints so their food must of been good. The crab cakes was the only appetizer we ordered. It was delicious and the mango sauce was great. The Blackened Mahi will require frozen drinks! It was very much like a real cajun blackened fish. Excellent flavour. One of the best I have ever had. Filet was thick and moist. Great entree. We also had the grouper bites. They were good. Not greasy or oily. I loved the breading. This is a great traditional classic fried fish meal. Live music, the view and staff were all top shelf. I cannot say enough about the ambiance. That being said, get ready to wait. Call 30 min in advance to get on the wait list. Sat night was a 2 hour wait, so we opted for Sunday lunch. It was packed. The beer, wine and cocktail menu is pretty good. Not overly priced. My drink was called The Pain Killer. Yeah....1 was all it took!! If you are anywhere on the Cape, this is the place to eat!! Good luck getting a table.

The atmosphere is awesome, the drinks and service are good. The food is honestly pretty bad. It’s a good time for a night out with friends for drinks but they really need to do something about the food. This place could be a‘ absolute powerhouse if they put fourth some effort on the menu.

After seeing how many good reviews they had, I was excited to try it. My pina colada and the fries were the best part. My fish wasn’t too good, and my husbands tacos weren’t terrible, but were spicy, and that was over powering. The crab cakes were itty bitty, and you only got 2 of them, for $12. Disappointed in that.

The remodel after Ian is great. Covered but open to stay out of the rain. My server was excellent, attentive. I had breakfast, omelet was good, potatoes were from frozen and over-deep fried. Ambiance is the reason to go here. LOVE the views

My favorite thing to do in Cape Coral was this. The ambiance is fantastic! Kids adored the live musicians who performed a variety of songs while we dined. They were really nice. The atmosphere was lovely and refreshing overall, and the sunset view was breathtaking. The meal and drinks were fantastic, particularly the fish and the burger! It's hard to surpass this!

Went twice during our stay in Cape Coral. Dinner was good, excellent fish tacos. There was a huge downpour but our server was great and our food was delivered fast and hot. Got there late for breakfast but our server was great once again and offered us the mini breakfast. Biscuits and gravy were really good and so was their house hot pineapple rum hot sauce. Bought a bottle to take home. Can't wait till we live here and become regulars!

Went to the Yacht Club Boathouse Tiki Grill today for dinner. Had the chicken nachos, my wife had the chicken tender basket with curly fries and I had the steak quesadilla and a side salad. Everything was great, the view was excellent of the water. Music was good, we will be back again soon.

My favorite restaurant in Cape Coral. We come here often. Best Gyro I've ever had it is HUGE! Gator bites are great cobb salad too. It's all great!

We enjoyed a nice meal here while visiting Cape Coral. The seating is all covered, but open on the patio by the water. The food and atmosphere were good. It started storming and the power went out but the staff handled it all in stride. Our food still came out quickly and our server was attentive. I had a specialty salad with grilled chicken. Even though my drink was week (hence the minus star) I would dine here again.

Nice place to watch the sunset or have a few drinks and a snack. The drinks were ok, fair price. The food was quick, but not exceptional. The bartender was kind of mean about moving chairs around, but everyone else was friendly.

Visited June of 2022. Was visiting the Cape Coral with the family and decided to stop by the Boathouse Bar & Grill for a quick bite. Everything was delicious and very refreshing, including the drinks. Service and hostess were very courteous. Overall very clean and laid back friendly environment. Highly recommend you visit. Just make sure to bring yourself, an empty stomach and an empty drive to take plenty of photos : )

It's a beautiful restaurant on the water. Parking is a little light on space. The staff is friendly and attentive. The burger is delicious. And the curly fries. Domestic beer is 450 for about a 12 oz cup. There's seating in the sand and lower area. And they're seating above the band on the up area by the bar.

Very cool place..!! We sat on the beach for dinner and it was great. Food was very good and service was excellent. Licmve music, great atmosphere etc.. We will be back for sure.

Delicious food, drinks,🍸 and great service even on a busy 4th of July! One caveat, we got there at noon so found parking, but a friend who came 20 minutes later had trouble finding parking since so many people were enjoying the public beach right next door.

My very last bite of chicken tenders was a little undercooked, but overall the fries and tenders were good, i dont think the pie was made inhouse and more likely than not a Cysco job. But the atmosphere makes up for all of it. Decent live music as well. Parking was a little tight as well, a few people were circling. Beach and boardwalk still closed. Looked like the yacht club was still closed too.

The service, food and environment was awesome. The view was spectacular. A lot of shade and breeze. Our waitress Jazmine was amazing, she offered suggestions and always checked on us. Would definitely go back. Their new menu is also good. Lots of variety of foods to choose from.

Stopped here on Tuesday 10/3/2023 for a few drinks and to just have a bite to eat..im on vacation from Philadelphia PA and I absolutely loved the vibe of this place..right on the water, warm and hip, beers were cold and the shrimp I had was delicious. I also grabbed some merchandise, a hat and a jacket. Will definitely stop by again! Thanks!

Poor service yesterday. We were told there was an hour wait. We provided our phone number to receive a text when our table was ready. After an hour of no text, we checked in with reception, only to find they took our number incorrectly. We were then offered the next table, but went to be seated, and that empty table had been given to another group. We wont try to eat here again.

Everything about the boathouse is great. Great views, great staff, love their food, and happy hour most of the day.

Our captain's group meets here every Friday for breakfast. Coffee sometimes tastes less than good, bacon is very good sometime and less good other times. Everything else is always good. Staff is always friendly and efficient. View is very nice, river and beach.

Paid the 3 dollar toll. Called ahead. Showed up. Was told 5 minute wait. We waited 20 minutes and watched other couples of two get seated before us who did not have call ahead. In one case, a grown man begged to have a seat despite being told there were 4 others ahead of him. The hostess gave in. Never going back again and seriously considering never going to Ford's or Capone's either. Absolutely horrible.

I love the atmosphere here. It's newly remodeled with a lot of tvs. The bathroom lines for women sometimes get excessive. The appetizers are great. My favs are the Thai shrimp and ahi tuna
