We've been wanting to come to this restaurant for a while since we love Mexican food and finally we were able to go and it was great! The food and drinks were delicious and the service was fantastic! I'm half Mexican and it is hard to find a good Mexican restaurant so we will definitely be back. Loved the atmosphere, decor and music (the mariachi classics).

Cool atmosphere. Great menu selection. Service was good. Chips and salsa service for table was three styles of salsas and. Buttermilk sour cream dip. Chip were huge, hot and crisp. Portions are healthy. Presentation was very nice, food was hot and delicious. I took a star off because it was sooooo cold on our side of restaurant that I couldn’t even get a margarita.

This is an old time favorite of mine all the Iguana Mia’s . I have not been there for a while, but every time I do go there, I know exactly what I’m gonna get meaning the same freshness, the same flavor, the same good taste that everyone should expect. A place that does not go out of style nor taste. Many moons ago I used to work for Iguana Mia as a server , bartender and was I left without burning bridges after being trained to move up. Because I had a job offer and became a liquor distributor and Iguana Mias became one of my accounts. I have meet the owners and the key staff members and they are all great people and it shows in the final products the Amazing full of flavor texnex dishes that just like me you will crave from time to time

Paige was our server and she was fantastic. Very attentive. Portions were very generous. Salsa & chips they bring to start off with were delicious. We visited on a Thursday so got to sample the $2 swirl a Rita frozen drinks. Very tasty. Sat outside on the patio.

Good food, great service. Family friendly & able to seat large parties. Tea brewed, not instant.

Worst food ever! Don’t waste your money.. The steak in my fajita was beyond gross the peppers and onions definitely weren’t fresh 🤢 If I could give no stars I would!!

Food was excellent! I took my picky wife and she was pleased with her nacho order. Service was great and fast. Lights were a bit dim for lower vision folks. Music wasn't too loud. I got the mahi-mahi.

Ok, I generally try not to leave negative reviews but occasionally it is needed so the business and customers are aware. My wife and I went for the first time with our kids based off other reviews. I’m sure it’s just personal preference and taste, but this place left a lot to be desired. The good, happy hour drinks (2 ended up being just $6), my wife said the rice was good, chips and spicy salsa, cheese dip was average, and the churros with chocolate sauce is good. The rest of the food was not. My 6 year old son hated the taste of the ground beef, and I don’t blame him. No seasoning what so ever. Same for the fish tacos and potatoes. Just not the flavors you expect when dining at a Mexican restaurant. Lastly, the biggest drawback was the price. They don’t have tacos by themselves, you have to get a combo and the combos are all around -$14-20. Our ticket for two kids meals and two entrees was $82. I tipped well and the service was decent.

Pretty good stuff. As one person mentioned it comes out so fast it makes you wonder if there microwaving the food. Doesn’t matter to me bc it’s good and convenient. Cadillac margaritas are the bomb too.

Our usual go to for Mexican food. Never disappointed. Love the guacamole and tortillas. Usually order shredded beef chimichanga and vegetable chimichanga with white queso. Yummy! Mexican food tonight, 5/6/22, I had the Mahi Al Mojo De Ajo with Zucchini and yellow rice and hubby had his usual bean and cheese chimichanga. We had guacamole with chips. Always delicious!

Another great dinner. Service and Food was fantastic. We had the Steak Salad, Chicken Tacos and Fried Ice cream

Fast and friendly service. I ordered the pechuga superior and it was delicious! The chicken was so juicy and tender and the salsa and cheese gave it such good flavor! Love that they bring 3 different salsas and sour cream to the table. Chips are super fresh and crispy! Will definitely return to try other dishe on the menu!

Food was good. Had 3 different tacos (beef, chicken, and fish). The fish was the best of the three. Quite good. The variety of salsa that they serve with the chips is very good, but the chips could be better. I would rate the margarita as good. The service was excellent! They have a nice, large outdoor patio. I would say this is worth a stop if you are in the area.

Was here on Saturday night for dinner with a group of friends. There is indoor and outdoor seating, we chose outdoor as it was a nice night and they have a large patio in the front. The waitress we had was awesome, super friendly and attentive. I had the mahi mahi with sautéed zucchini and yellow rice. It was delicious and I liked the hot sauce that came with the chips very tasty!

They were ok with gluten free. They have a gluten free menu gives you the basics... Not really the menu... You use it in conjunction with the menu to figure out what you want. The food was highly lacking in taste. Server didn't see to it that our requests on our order was carried out. For instance... margarita no salt on rim please came completely coated with salt. Food was tasteless. Only thing I liked was the refried beans. Guacamole was ok. Two beef tacos... One had the whole side filled with a big fatty piece of grissle. Just gross. The other had the Taco shell in the metal holder, but all the fixings were not in the shell... They were in the holder beside the shell. Not sure what the enchilada was made from... Sure it was gluten free because I didn't know what it was wrapped in. Husband said his had no taste as well. The was a table at college students who were drinking and really being loud and rude. I think it may have been the amount of drinking they were doing. But just about everyone around us were giving them the stinkeye. I was not facing them or I would have too. Yet they were going to order MORE drinks. I don't see how this place got so many stars per review. Maybe on a good day? One thing is for sure. Never going back.

Super friendly staff ! Very welcoming atmosphere and also has outdoor seating. Drinks specials & happy hour are a definite must. Food was good & I love the plate of a variety of salsas along with chips that is brought to your table as soon as you are seated. Highly recommend the Prickly Pear Margarita ! Enjoy!

Highly recommend this place for authentic Mexican food. The chips and salsa are extremely good. The restaurant itself is very clean, and the patio is nice and big. The staff is very friendly and helpful. You must try the queso! And the pink lemonade!!!

Really great dine in experiences and pretty good take out experiences. Excellent service every single time we've dined in, nice atmosphere as well. The tamales are pretty good, but a bit expensive. Most of what we've tried on the menu is very good and fresh. I do not suggest the entree bowls, they weren't my favorite.

We picked up food for a meeting at Royal Shell Real Estate. The food was prepared very nicely, it was hot and flavorful. We enjoyed enchiladas, black beans, rice, chips, and salsa. The staff made sure we had everything we needed. We ordered online and then received a call the evening before the pick-up to confirm our order. Very satisfied.

We haven't been to Iguana Mia in years due to moving out of the area. I'm glad that we were able to come back and the service,food,and drinks were amazing as always. We went on a Monday and margaritas were $2 & surprised they were pretty strong. I hope we can go back before we leave.

Waited 25 minutes just to get a drink order in. We got sat at the table and just sat. I am super understanding if it was busy, but it totally wasn’t. We got our drinks and they were good. Then we ordered our food and that made us, who were already annoyed and upset, got worse. The food had zero flavor. Half the taco orders came out wrong. I would describe this Mexican food as retirement home Mexican cuisine. Bland, no flavor, and takes decades to get to you. Believe it’s made to stop you up… Our overall lunch experience was 2 hours long, disgusting, and over priced for what you get. I only give a 2 cause the drinks were good and the server was nice. But overall, I hated this place and will never come back or recommend this place to anyone! Didn’t even finish my food it was so bad.

We were blown away by this restaurant! While all the wait staff were exceptional, Dillon really stood out to us. He was attentive and kind - the best combination of professional and warm. The food was delicious. Very large portions. Not a single complaint from this customer!

Overall great food for the money. Food seems homemade and fresh. The salsa, chips, and guacamole were great, fresh and homemade. Also our server Madison did a great job and never had us waiting on drinks.
