Had a wonderful dinner here, and sat outside. Was a bit chilly but the outside heaters were nice. The menu is huge and there were at least 10 things I wanted to order. We went with the tuna and salmon tartar appetizer which was HUGE and could feed four people. Highly recommended. My wife had the grouper and I had the split lobster tails. The restaurant staff were generous and told me since they were small they gave me three tails instead of two! I also had a dirty martini which was fantastic. I will go back here again soon. August 2022: Another great meal here!

We have been eating at Fish Tales & buying seafood at Merricks for years. Its always a nice treat. This past Saturday (1/08/22) we stopped in after the art show. We decided on appetizers & an adult beverage. The calamari was perfectly cooked and the crab cake was delicious. Only reason for the 4 star is that the portion for the crab cakes should have been 2 for the price. Also; they truly need to expand the "bar area"; I think there are only 5-6 chairs at the bar. I hate taking up a table for 4 when there only 2 of us (with no children). Its a busy restaurant but the service is always great and the food is awesome & fresh.

Very fresh seafood at reasonable prices. Staff was extremely professional and very well informed about the seafood quality and where is was caught. Katie seemed to know every detail about every dish. The Lobster BLT was Mouth Watering and the Oysters Rockefeller was Amazing! I would give 5 stars but the parking was not very convenient. But the Death By Chocolate dessert made up for the walk across the street to get to the restaurant.

Had a good time here meeting up with some friends. The outside of the building looks dated, but inside looks quite nice and updated. I had a loaded Bloody Mary and it was good. It came with a piece of ahi tuna, a bundle grouper bites, a shrimp, an oyster, and a lobster tail. Overall I was satisfied with it, but the tomato juice tasted more like cocktail sauce? Either way, it was still good. I was pleased with my experience here.

Nice out door music. Very kind singer, he stopped playing to help an older man get up from his table. Food was great. We had loaded Bloody Mary, lobster omelet, Mahi mahi and a wedge salad. Enjoyed it all.

Great place to dine once in a while due to how expensive it really is. The drinks are good and taste well. Food is definitely tasty. The staff are pleasantly nice and courteous. I do recommend coming at least once.

It’s a small meal and drink together We went there for the $ 28.00 Bloody Mary’s Not to be disappointed at all!!! But they only have one fancy one. They have your typical regular one also They have a small brunch menu but you can also get lunch off the regular menu . The out side of the building is more of a beach 🏖 theme The inside is definitely a more fine dining decor. The food was excellent not huge portions but delicious and plated exquisite…. hats off to the chief it was worth the trip over the bridge for. They also have a fish market next door to buy fresh fish 🐟

Meh. Overpriced mediocre food. There’s no taste to anything. We ordered the little neck clams and they were alright. Clams were iffy but the broth and bread were tasty. My husband ordered blackened scallops and they had no taste. His fries were so over seasoned, they were inedible. I order the ginger tuna salad. Again, no taste. All I could taste was “sweet” from the dressing. It was overwhelming and gross. My tuna was brown. Not just the crust, but the inside. Safe to say, I didn’t eat my meal. Server never came to ask how anything was during our meal, except the moment the food was dropped off. We weren’t even able to taste it before he asked. Not one person came up to us to ask how things were. If they did, I would’ve mentioned that I didn’t care for the salad and possibly order something else. The manager (I assume) was walking around and didn’t acknowledge us either. I have zero desire to come back to this place and I would never recommend them to anyone. Now, I’m out $100 on lunch and still hungry. How they’ve been in business this long, surprises me. Skip it. They’re too focused on presentation to worry about quality.

Very clean facility. The food was amazing. About a 30 min wait for food on a busy Saturday night so we were not disappointed. Food was well seasoned and very, very fresh.

I will start off by saying that the staff of Fish Tale need as big of a raise as possible. Upon walking in, everyone treated us as if we have been there multiple times. The atmosphere, inside and out, was really inviting and relaxing. We ended up sitting outside as it was a night day but the view onto the street and the wall bar was a nice backdrop. There was a live band which was also nice. The food was great. We ended up getting calamari which was crispy when it came out hot. The meals were flavorful and the portions were not skimpy. The drinks were also flavorful, albeit they could have used a touch more alcohol, but in no way takes aware from their uniqueness.

Went for the prime rib and lobster special on Sunday. It was decent enough. I'm from Illinois, so this corn on the cob was not very good I'm my opinion. And an odd vegetable to serve. Also a baked potato was included. The mimosa was warm. I had 4 oysters Rockefeller, mostly spinach. Different that they deep fried the oyster and planted it on top. The music was so mellow. I could have fallen asleep. I think I'll try a different time of day to go and see if that helps the atmosphere.

The food, service and atmosphere was excellent. The catch of the day was prepared with a light flavorful batter, jullianed vegetables, great presentation and flavors. The music was background showing great dinner conversation that did required yelling across the tables. Go here, you won't be disappointed. The key lime pie was perfect!

The service was great, despite it being a busy lunch crowd. Food was tasty and portions are reasonable. I would like to have ordered the seafood trio special but it looked like a very small portion. We ended up getting Mahi-mahi and Salmon. The menu itself leaves something to be desired for: mostly seafood that’s from out of state. Salmon, Chilean Sea Bass, Unicorn Fish. We live right on the gulf, but no red snapper or other local catch?

This place came highly recommended from a friend of ours, and overall our experience was great. The atmosphere and vibe was so fun, and we loved the live music playing outside. Our waitress, Juliana, was very efficient and fast, especially being a busy Saturday night. We had ordered the macadamia cranberry grouper, coconut shrimp, lobster tails, crab and lobster roll, shrimp scampi, and bourbon salmon. My mom said the salmon was the best she had ever had! Nothing bad to say about the food at all! Highly recommend!

I never mind paying for dinner out when the food and service is worth it. This place is worth EVERY SINGLE PENNY! We went a little early and were able to get a table immediately (unlike some places that require a 2 hour wait regardless of the time). We opted for a table inside (although we noticed live music was playing outside later on). Our server, Luke, was attentive all night. We enjoyed the Lobster and Crab Spring Rolls, side salad with homemade blue cheese dressing, Cranberry & Macadamia encrusted Sea Bass, Shrimp Scampi, and Key Lime Pie (also homemade). Incredible! Can’t wait to go back!

Whata great place for dinner. Two piece band playing island music. The food was amazing and service. Would recommend this place for date night or family get together.

We enjoyed a delicious meal inside with great customer service. Our dishes were soooo good. Scallops wrapped in bacon, oysters Rockefeller, and their signature dish of Seabass with julienne vegetables with a coconut lemongrass sauce. Wow! Couldn’t recommend this place any more, it is great! Looking forward to the front patio getting remodeled. We will definitely be back!

The food was great - loved the cranberry macadamia grouper. Very loud and tables are very close together. Music outside was great. Busy spot, but didn't have to wait nearly as long as the 45-60 minutes they first quoted.

Their bloody mary was a meal in itself. We will definitely be back. Wait staff was a tad slow to the greet, etc. but I think the service industry has been strained post Covid. Everyone was extremely friendly which made it all worth the wait! Highly recommend

We went there to kinda celebrate my birthday and anniversary. The grouper bites were excellent. The salmon was dry had hard edges. The food was just average to me.

Tonight was my wife’s birthday so we enjoyed a martini at the outdoor bar. We then were seated inside for our dinner. The atmosphere is great. Tanya was our server for dinner and she was excellent. We started with the tuna, tartare and salmon tartare, which was phenomenal, and then enjoyed the special which was a combination of lobster tail, snow, crab, king, crab, cocktail, shrimp, fried snapper, and bacon wrapped shrimp. It was for two people and we were stuffed. It is in our top five.

It was a beautiful day, so we sat outside. The service was excellent. They had entertainment she had a lovely voice and wasn't too loud. I had the seafood platter. I couldn't decide, so I had a sample of the shrimp, scallops, and grouper. My husband had the seabass. Everything was delicious. We love this place they never disappoint.

A definite must stop, one of the best places for seafood in the Cape. Great variety of plates, friendly knowledgeable staff. My family and I have been dining here since it first opened its doors for dining in 2013. If in the mood for an awesome drink try any of the Bloody Mary options a meal on its own!!
